I am surprised this game has not gained enough attention as I will have to spread the word out about this game.

Here is what I like about this game:

It has a very interesting Hero System meaning as you gain experience points you can spend experience points to improve a number of skills along with improving your main stats of your Hero like health, defense, attack, resist and moving around on the world map. It has at least 20-30 skills you can spend your experience on .

Other 4x games when you gain a level you get some increases based on that new level but in this game you spend your experience as you see fit so there really are no levels in this game so I think it is actually a better system.

Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore

Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore

The world of Irumesa is filled with countless dangers such as creepy swamps, unexplored caves, and dungeons. Immerse yourself in this hardcore MMORPG and play the way you want to.

You live in a world called Irumesa. You start in the Solitary Isles and make your way through to the mainland, where you will traverse tundras, deserts, swamps, and more. Explore hundreds of interesting locations, each filled with a story, quests, and beautiful scenery.

One essential thing to us with this game is developing a game with a high risk to reward ratio. The game will be difficult, and the risks are high in general. We are trying to implement content for all types of players, both casual and hardcore RPG gamers, but the main focus will be on the more hardcore. With great risks comes great rewards!

Dying in Ethyrial will be harsh and punishing. We can guarantee that you will get frustrated at times. But we believe that this is also one of the things that makes a game fun to play. Knowing that death is so nasty and the stakes so high will increase the rewarding feeling when accomplishing something difficult. Death will result in irreversible experience loss, and items will be dropped at random. Players may pick up items again if someone else doesn’t get there first!

Teamwork will be an important aspect of Ethyrial, and leaving teammates to die will not really be an option. We want to enforce teams to really work together during instances, and boss fights to implement a “Party-loss system.” If a teammate dies, the entire party will share that players experience loss. If the rest of the team survives and manages to revive their teammate, some of the lost experience will be given back to the team.

PVE will, of course, be a big part of Ethyrial gameplay. You will encounter many boss fights and will be able to party up with your friends to clear the harder bosses. Instances (Dungeons) will come in plenty and with different difficulty. We will also introduce a Colosseum-style arena, where players, either solo or in a party, have to fight their way through different bosses in an arena.

You can’t have a great MMORPG without a good PVP system, where people can put their skills to the ultimate test against other players. We have plans to implement several different PVP-arenas where you are free to roam as you please, with ratings visible for everyone.

We have implemented a bounty system in the world to increase the risk of killing other players. Player killing will be mostly unrestricted but risky in the way that a bounty will be placed upon you. This will make you a target to other players looking to make some money. In the future, bountied players will also be restricted access to some areas, as a high bounty will make guards and other dangerous NPC’s very interested in you. Maybe you’ll find friends in darker places? In Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore, nothing is written in stone, and you decide who you want to become.

We plan on allowing you to be able to build your own houses, workshops, trading posts, castles or whatever you want. We will not feature an instanced housing system, as you will be able to buy a plot of land almost anywhere in our open world. You may team up with your clan to build a massive clan mansion or gather enough money and resources to build yourself a small cabin in the woods. What you do is up to you, although these benefits won’t come cheap.

Like with many other MMORPGs, we want to provide a solid crafting system. The crafting system will also have a higher risk/reward than what most players are used to, as items are varied in quality, wear over time, and not guaranteed to be crafted successfully - this is dependant on your skills. Basic blueprints are made available to the player through simple means such as vendors. However, more advanced blueprints can only be obtained through means of exploration, questing, and other types of content.

Our game will feature many different spells, but we are also creating a spell-crafting system, where players can further specialize their character by creating spells fit for their game style. A crafted spell starts blank and gets more powerful as you add abilities and powers to them. But be careful, as tinkering with some of these ancient powers may cause it all to go away. This system will be very high risk, but very high reward!

The community will be a large part of the game, whether you are alone, in a clan or a part of a small group of friends. We will have a system that facilitates this game mechanic, like your clan buying up land and making a new town on a trade route or you and your friends picking up bounties and hunting down criminals. We are working on more as well that we will share in the future.

(We will release more info as we develop further)

Hunted: Survive the Night

Hunted: Survive the Night

Survive the night.

In Hunted: Survive the Night you play as 1 monster vs up to 4 survivors. Trapped in an unknown location the survivors has to find and play 6 haunted music boxes until the song finishes. Doing so opens the gates out to the foggy path, waiting for your freedom. The survivors aren’t completely helpless as they can find weapons laying around, this doesn’t damage the killer, but stuns it instead. Giving the survivors a small window to escape and hide. Remember not to linger for too long. If time runs out before you escape, the gates will close forever and will take your life at the same time.

This is first person only for both the killer and the survivors. Hunted is focusing on realism and horror. Hunted is primarily based on luck, teamwork, sounds and most importantly. Stealth. So be careful of using that flashlight of yours.

Killers and Survivors.

The survivors and killers all have their own unique ability to use. There can only be one type of survivor at a time, and be quick. When everyone is ready, pick your character. Because the game starts as soon as you can choose your survivor or killer. The killer and the survivor also has their own stats, such as speed, stamina, damage, and so on.

Environment.

The objective, spawns and firearms are randomized. The survivors can get really lucky by finding the objectives close to each other, or really unlucky. The survivors can also get lucky by more objectives spawning, since the amount of objectives is randomized. You only need to finish 6 of the music boxes, but there can spawn everything from 8, all the way up to 13 if you are really lucky. The same is with the firearms, except that the amount is from 2-6.

Leveling

Each character and monster has their own levels. Level up your character to get cosmetics and perks, making your character better each play.

Good start not much to do, that’s most likely because I dont know how to do anything lol

It’s not bad, but the nights are pitch black, which has no meaning at all. Explore, explore and explore, how big is this world? Lots of chests with goodies to collect.

So the nights are a big turn off. Just standing there in the darkness, I want to move, but I don’t see my enemy.

Maybe it has a purpose in PvP mode, but if one has brightness control on their monitor, it’s an advantage.

And for what it is worth in general: This game should be FREE !

I do like, that when you kill a Cannibal, that it drops health potions. Take out the day/night cycle. If you can, can you @developer or is this what is possible? And if you try to add something, put like a bejeweled chest in a temple or something. Who ever gets it, get a huge bonus in points. But what is the use of the points, especially in single player?

Detached: Non-VR Edition

Beautiful game placed in space, originally created for VR and now available in nonVR version. It’s FPX game where we want to survive and find a way to get back home safely from malfunctioned space station. This will require a skill to control your spacesuit powered with fuel. We also need a oxygen and both of these can by found around by exploring an open world of the damaged space station. Some puzzle needs to be solved in the game to complete some of the tasks like opening the doors or activate various systems. Great looking and well optimized graphics and nice sounds well making a feeling of loneliness in empty space. Game has cross-platform PvP mode. Detached is a fantastic game that I’m hoping to play in VR mode some day.

I would love to recommend this game, it’s quite a nice, short FPS story. Flying around in an authentic zero-g experience on Realistic mode was amazing, it’s the kind of game I like most. There’s not much shooting, just floating through space finding the path out, with enough light puzzles to not be boring.

Unfortunately, finding the small progression MacGuffins in level 2 was awful. They were hidden away and difficult to find when trying to progress the story. It took me a few hours flying around looking for them. I found a few, but they were placed near another progression point later down the line, so taking them earlier than I’m supposed to means I have to look for others in the more difficult places anyway.

Monster Tribe

Monster Tribe

Monster Tribe fuses strategy combat with rpg systems, item collection and dungeons filled with puzzles to pull the player into its world. But ultimately, this is a game all about exploration. The island of Akama is vast and wild, reclaimed by nature over many years. There are mountains, beaches, forests and mines, along with some scenery much less familiar. Remnants of vast ruins can be seen all throughout the land. In order to explore these strange - and sometimes dangerous - lands, you will need the help of the Ateyan. By binding your spirit to these creatures, you will be able to uncover the many secrets Akama has to offer. You will use the Ateyan to battle your way through the wilderness, and along the way there will be many unique resources to collect. Your tools will help you scavenge for rare ores and logs, and forage for food in the trees and beneath the waves. Resources will be a huge aid to both you and the Ateyan that choose to follow you, allowing you to unlock special fusion forms and power up your party. Once you feel ready, the player can take their team of Ateyan to one of the many Towers present throughout the island, to try to tackle the strange and mysterious dungeons and puzzles that await them there. Beyond these epic challenges lie answers to the mysteries of the past, and possibly a way forward for the people of the present.

In a vast ocean landscape, a lone island sits. This island is called Akama by its people, and it is a very special place. It is the home of not only its native people, but also strange creatures called Ateyan. The Ateyan appeared on this island through a magical Rift, and continuously draw energy from it. Using this magical spirit energy, the Ateyan have manifested wonderful powers of all kinds.

The player will embark into the land of Akama and relearn the secrets of the past. Along the way, you will use the unique powers of the Ateyan to restore a balance that had been tipped a long time ago, and reveal truths about the island, the creatures, and the people who inhabited it long ago. There is much more to the history of this land than the stories that have been passed down. Will you journey to the heart of this world to see them for yourself?

Battling is a key aspect to Monster Tribe, and so we put the utmost care into making sure we got it right. Battles are fought with teams of Ateyan on a small grid battlefield, with each team occupying their own side of the field. There are many complex elements to the way these battles play out, but we have done everything we can to make sure that they are not only deep, but accessible and fun to play through. Below we will detail many of the nuances of the battle system for those hoping to dig their teeth into the meat of the game.

Akama contains many biomes filled with spaces for all kinds of different creatures to fill unique niches in its ecosystem. But, it seems that besides fish and a few birds, no animals live on the island. Instead, small balls of light roam around the wilderness, barely even visible to some - and not at all to others. They are called Ateyan, and according to history they are much more than they appear to be. In the ancient past the Ateyan appeared, through what is only referred to as The Rift, and they exploded in population and diversity all through the island. For many generations they lived alongside the people of the island, and there are descriptions of all kinds of magical, powerful creatures capable of incredible feats. But it seems somewhere along the line the Ateyan and the humans drifted. The Ateyan remained on the island, but only their spiritual essence could be seen; those same strange balls of light. The rest of their existence fell into a space between this world and the world of the Rift, and there the Ateyan could continue their lives without the disturbance of humanity. It is in this form that they stayed. Now, even their very existence as anything more alive than the rocks and rivers - has come into question. As the player will discover upon beginning their journey, this couldn’t be further from the truth.
