MIR4

MIR4

This game has a lot of potential but it is overrun with bots and there is nothing being done about it. Bots have been an issue from the start of the game and all it would take is a few minutes of active attention on each server per day to identify them and ban them. Even if you dont get them all the first day the numbers will dwindle quickly. Normally you could just play around the bots but these bots are actually taking up the most valuable resource in the game. This resource can either be mined, received as a quest reward, or purchased. The resource is used in over 90% of all crafting, enchanting, upgrading your character in anyway, etc. The bots are able to teleport, and knock you off of the resource without actually damaging you. This wouldn’t even be ok if they did damge you so that you can kill them and get your resource back, because there are so many bots they are programed to have one knock you off and another take the resource that way you cant kill the one who got your resource. Even if you do kill them, they can resurrect and teleport back to the node in seconds where it should take them several minutes to get back on auto run. Another issue is that pvp is so heavily punished in this game that if you kill a bot that was there just to take your resource and not damage you, then you end up suffering more because you can no longer gain xp at full value. Thats right, the pvp penalty effects your growth as a player which is another thing the bots dont care about as they are just after the resource. Once you gain negative propensity because of killing a non hostile bot you are then freely targeted by other players while you try to get rid of the negative propensity. The penalty for killing one none hostile bot is -999 propensity which means you need to kill 400 monsters within 5 levels of you to get back to getting full xp again.

Typical auto-quest game with tedious quests to repeat over. Traps to pay at level 30 - 40.

So many hackers ruining game-play across all servers.

I’m few days into the game and here’s my take on the above.

At level 30+, you will face the problems of having no slot to keep all the important items.

I think this is deliberately designed so people would have to pay some bucks to buy more slots to keep all the items. It becomes very annoying to progress if you don’t pay for extra slots.

At level 40, if you are free-to-pay, you will experience super slow down in quest completion as your starting gears (with free-to-pay upgrade along the way) and stats improvement started to hit the bottleneck. The time to complete each quest becomes 2x-3x and the story quest also become much harder. Yet another trap for you to either go back to auto farming materials for a long time to get a rare item or pay to buy “blue rare starting sets” at the cost of $29.99.

Guns N Stuff

Guns N Stuff

Very easy to learn and well planned out. It runs incredibly smooth for its size and although it requires you to have atleast one control is very fun to play. My only issue is controls seem a bit annoying but its not really a big deal. Other than that its easily the best 1$ i have played on steam by a landslide.

After playing for a little over an hour, I can note a few points!

  • Nice graphics

  • A game about sports, not violence

  • Also, in the pluses, you can note the authors' statement about the appearance of major updates

-At the time of release, the game is played in about 2 hours, taking into account restarts

-Perhaps the price is too high, but if everything is as the developer describes and a collection of several games is waiting for us, then the price tag is very worthy

And so quite an interesting game, like Hotline Miami, but only about sports!

AMazing TD

AMazing TD

Honestly the game has some work that needs to be done to it but if your looking for a classic starcraft td outside of starcraft this isn’t a bad start. It’s still in early access so there are obviously problems/unfinished parts of it but I think its a great start and already currently gets me on a almost once a day to get my dailies and try the new maps. With a little balance and a little more depth this would be a solid td

Things I would add/change:

  • The upgrades curve doesn’t seem balanced to me, I always get to a certain point and feel like its just a waste unless there is no room left to build new towers.

Real player with 30.8 hrs in game

I’d like to preface this review by saying it was written while the game was in Early Access and that fact was taken into consideration while writing this. AMazing TD is an interesting take on the Tower Defense genre. It reminds me of the Tower Defense (TD) games I used to play as custom games in Warcraft 3 and Starcraft 2. It probably reminds me of that because it is a standalone spiritual successor of a Starcraft 2 map I had played previously called Entropy TD.

It’s a deceptively simple appearing Tower Defense game. You build living statues as your towers and they deal with the various waves of enemies. The longer you can keep enemies from exiting the map, the more likely you are to eliminate them. Building a maze and well placed, properly upgraded towers is the key to victory in these sorts of games. AMazing TD goes beyond the basics by also having power fields on the play field that modify the game in some way. Fields that slow, speed up and teleport the enemies, increase the range or damage of your towers or even offering you extra gold are some of the field effects to watch out for when planning your maze.

I’d just like to coment on the general response to this game as people are crapping all over it, the hit reg is bad, there are some glitches and there’s not much depth in content. These are all valid issues and fair enough, but to the people saying, enraged zombies are overpowered, stop. The zombies need to be powerful or you might as well just go play cod. To the people saying you cant sprint and strafe at the same time, of course you cant, that would be op and is in no good games. To people saying you cant run fast, I see plenty of people in light classes bomb past me so fast I cant even ADS on them. Please moan about valid issues, there are plenty to choose from including spawns to name but one, but please stop bitching about stupid stuff because you are bad at the game.

Maximum Games once again brings us an awful, broken, and downright boring game that they threw out onto Steam and then abandoned immediately. Zero support post-release, as is tradition from those fine folks.

This PC port is pretty abysmal, and as usual with Maximum Games' releases you can’t rebind your keys. This time they at least let you change a few graphic settings, though. As far as audio options go, you can only change a few volume sliders.

Wassup KOG!

Hear thy concerns of your cash-cows, I mean players. Concerns that if not fixed, will make you lose your player base.

Here are some, enjoy!

  • They only updated the UI but with added bugs as if KOG is telling players that they just patched this game straight from the basement to get some cash.

  • Only 4 of the 20 characters at release. Why? So you use up your character slots, so when they release new characters you want, you will be forced to use VP to buy more character slots.

  • It’s missing the tree-house feature at the moment even though again it’s clearly based on Season 5.

But I have a couple of questions:

1. When is the early access coming out?

2. will the price be changed?

3. will there be any new levels and features added?

Also thanks for the generous 40% discount

Those that have played ZMR/Hazard ops before already know what they are getting into, its the same game, just a diffrent version that we havent seen in NA/EU before. The game is old, released first time around 2009 or so,a jankier smaller budget gears of wars. Cover mechanics, perfect reloads, fire from cover, all that jazz.

Dont expect any story from this game, its more of an old school arcade 3rd person shooter, and it can be fun in short bursts when it comes to gameplay itself. You choose a map in a lobby and shoot stuff. Several game modes that come down to 2 types in the end, small mini stories called Ops,and wave based survival.

Well I’ve been putting off writing a review but every time I come and look, I see that a negative review (from a guy who I see playing all the time) is the one getting all the attention.

It’s ZMR, Hazard Ops, Black Fire, whatever the hell else it’s been called.

BUT

You need to treat it like its a new game, because unlike the previous iterations there is many more systems added like the crafting, and maps dropping materials, and a whole lot of things that are on the way.

This game has one of the most dedicated playerbases ever, there have been people playing for years and years. But there’s a few players you’ll see every day who got burnt from previous versions being shut down, they’ll tell you the game will die soon and it’s pay to win and a whole lot of other things (while playing the game themselves).

In my opinion this is the best version of this game.

I say this because each “new game” is just a tiny expansion of the original product. in simple terms, they have been charging 60 bucks for the the same old game over and over and over.

I don’t support rebellion for this exact reason.

the only reason you shold buy ANY of these games is if you plan on using one of the many mods available.

as this is an older version, mods for this title will be more likely to be finished and less likely to be broken by random updates.

For Starters…

Let me preface by saying that I purchased this game back in 2012 during a steam sale. I installed it along with a few other titles, played for a few hours and uninstalled it within a few days. A couple years later I decided to give it another shot and removed it within hours of installing it. In fact, actually googled online to see if there was a way to delete the game from my steam library because I swore the damn game would never fool me into installing it again. It was extremely frustrating trying to learn all of the complex technical nuances to managing and controlling your space fleet, especially when I just downloaded a bunch of other titles and this one has a learning curve, and expects you to actually play through all four of the dense tutorials to gain the minimum level of proficiency to play the game. And of course, I clicked through them without retaining anything, immediately started a skirmish, couldn’t control my empire, was confused about what was going on, got obliterated, cursed the game and uninstalled…
