There are some cool things about this game. First of all, the design of the characters and environment is fabulous. Second, I really enjoy jumping on the big robots and controlling them, especially the big robot with the flat head, it is aewsome when I jump with this robot. But there are some things that the developer should really refine. The internet is not very stable. There is only one map to play which is quite boring, but since I may play with my friends, it is ok. But, saddly, there is not many people online. The special effect of this game really needs to be polished. I wish there would be a function to chat with my friends when playing it. Last of all, which I think the really really important, is to have a guide for new players, because I spent half an hour fighting the enemies before I found out that I may jump on the giant robots and control them accidentally.

Ok, I just got done playing the game with some friends. Honestly, this game does have potential. There are some issues with this release like the combat being a bit clunky, it is hard to tell when you hit some one, and there is no death animation, but this is “pre-release”. Of course it will have issues. The artwork is stunning, and the whole concept/theme is really cool.

Is it worh $8.99? Well if you have patience or have friends you can play with quickly yes it is. Becuase this is multiplayer you will have to wait for people to join. Simply fighting the bots in game is cool but can get bland.

Fifo’s Night

Fifo’s Night

I would absolutely recommend this game to anyone that is just looking for a quick 2-3 hour game to sit back and enjoy. This game has a decent story, likeable protagonist and contains great looking visuals, enemies and locations.

The only downfall i can think of in the game is if your going for 100%. The game only shows you the total amount of candies you have throughout the whole adventure and not separately for each location. There is also no indicator to help you find candies you are missing. This in turn means if you miss a candy in a barrel, box etc. along the way you will most likely have to search around somewhat aimlessly to find the last few candies for 100%. This is further not helped by the fact that there are hidden area’s within each location which can make it even harder to 100%.

The perfect 3D puzzle-platformer for Halloween, from the start I could tell this would be a game I would enjoy. Most of the combat is simple enough, the first puzzle was easy and straight-forward, the game really starts to kick in at the first boss, the music is amazing, defeating him is quite clever as well. you will encounter a few enemy types on the way, some of which have clever mechanics to defeat.

The game is also offers you the chance to collect multiple types of candies, which can be no easy feat on a first run, I among others missed one which was fiendishly hidden.

Action Commando

Action Commando

Action Commando is a Town of Machine spinoff focused entirely on combat. Hub-based world design, inventory management and most of the character interactions have been removed / de-prioritized in favour of fast-paced combat where your only concern is what’s trying to kill you at a given moment. While it lacks the depth of Town of Machine, it works really well as a coffee break, action-packed, top-down shoot’em up. Unlike in its predecessor you don’t have to worry about inventory space and quests - just go forward and blow things up… and it kind of works. The game is pretty short and unfortunately set almost entirely underground which makes the levels blend together but it’s not that big of a deal considering its lenght. Give it a try if you ever feel like mowing down monsters for a few hours.

A well-crafted, action-focused twin stick shooter with a good dose of humour. It’s a spin-off of Town of Machine that’s set in the same universe. While it uses many of the same assets as ToM, it’s more action-orientated and simpler to play.

Made by single person, its production values are excellent - gameplay, graphics, sound: all are top-notch.

It’s worth playing Town of Machine before this, but not wholly necessary.

Congo

Congo

Having had a single and multiplayer experience, I’d have to say that Innocent Devils have managed to create a game that definitely requires team work, communication and organisation! Single player is like playing Permadeath, so it is ill advised, although MIGHT suggest room for some AI? Even one…

The enemies arrive in heavier hordes the further you progress, which means that the tension builds constantly, allowing you no room to relax, or feel comfortable even with your friends and 2 hands full of weaponry!

Congo:

It is pitch black and you are stranded in the middle of the Congolese jungle. You keep hearing noises coming from the bush and the foliage is cracking everywhere you look around. All you have going for you is a torch in one hand and a machete in the other hand!

Congo is an action/survival game where you can play by yourself, but it’s primary aim to play on a co-op basis with up to 3 of your mates. You will be able to play in two type of mods; defence or objective. The defence mod currently has 8 different locations and the aim is to make sure you do not lose your radio transmitter and to stay alive as long as you can. For the objective mod, well I guess you can figure this one out. Whatever you prefer to play, you will have to explore the jungle to find additional weapons, gizmos and tools either in crates or on the ground. You will always start with your machete but crates will get you access to revolvers, machines and submachine guns, shotgun, carabines and of course a limited amount of ammunition. Just a little tip for you, make sure you collect as many knives as you can. You will be pinned down to the ground by one of these demons and the only way to kill them went they are on top of you is to use a knife. Gps, flares (which scare the demons), fuel can, cutters and revive syringes (you can’t revive yourself, so this is only if you play as a party) are pretty much your gizmos and tools.
