MOLEK-SYNTEZ

MOLEK-SYNTEZ

To those unfamiliar with Zachtronics' games, MOLEK-SYNTEZ is an open-ended puzzle game.

The goal in each puzzle is to transform or rearrange precursors (inputs) to make another molecule (output).

As usual with these games, there isn’t just one solution. It’s up to you to make one with the tools you’re given.

You can just enjoy making each molecule and be done. It’ll most likely take you a few pleasant hours.

Or, you could go down the rabbit hole…

Because there are many solutions, some will inevitably be better than others. Each solution is rated on 3 categories (metrics), which you can try to optimize. And this is where these games shine, in my opinion. You’re making Aspirin in 360 cycles? Pretty good, but what about that person on your friend list who makes it in 240? How does that work?

This game is really good if you like complex puzzles that make you use every inch of your brain. One of its faults (or perhaps benefits, depending on who you are) is that it doesn’t really explain anything. You have very little instruction and have to figure it out by yourself. This can be really obnoxious.

This game is a pain in the ass for completionism, but the right kind of pain in the ass. The last ten of the bonus puzzles made me want to scream, but it was so so satisfying to get the final achievement.

Cafe Owner Simulator: Prologue

Cafe Owner Simulator: Prologue

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1662230/Cowboy_Life_Simulator_Prologue/

In Cafe Owner Simulator: Prologue - you can test your skills on three levels, 2 on order and one level - your own restaurant.

In the full version of the game, you will have many opportunities and ways to develop your business, as well as more tasks to complete, tools to use, and more.

The most important feature of Cafe Owner Simulator is the ability to “build” a restaurant business from 0. You get an old room from your father, and you decide to open a dream restaurant there. But it takes money. You decide to take work on order, for restoration, cleaning and putting someone else’s restaurant business in order. After each task, you can invest in your institution.

Renovate the building and remove all the trash, paint the walls, renovate the floors and ceilings, create an interior that will appeal to you and your future clients. Create a menu of dishes, hire employees, buy groceries, shape the style of your establishment, mood and order advertising from bloggers and the press.

We try to create a variety of possibilities in the game, so you won’t get bored! You will have to pay bills, extinguish fires, repair faulty equipment, poison cockroaches and other pests, hire security guards to keep homeless and drunkards out of the restaurant.

When you complete tasks, the level of your establishment will grow, and you will be able to expand it, complete additional premises, open the second floor and much more. What establishment will you open?

I am loving it. I love the chatbox conversations the coworkers are having. I love the stupid caricature of the boss type. I love the writing sample selections. I love the color. While this game is in desperate need of a tutorial that experts could skip and the zoom function for the text area is a little awkward, it’s totally workable.

Most importantly, I love how this worked out so well as a game to sit and play cooperatively with someone. It’s fun to solve these puzzles together and try to optimize the work you’ve done. This was absolutely worth the small fee to buy this game.

Addictive as hell!

But you need to know the basics of Regex! Because unfortunately, the explanations are really bare-bones.

(Reading the reviews, this put off a lot of people. Which is a shame: The Dev could just add more detailed, in depth explanations. All it costs is a bit of his time.)

If you actually want to learn Regex, one step at the time, each step with a detailed explanation plus an interactive example, go here: https://regexone.com/

I find this the easiest, best resource to get started with Regex.

DANGER! Escape Lab

DANGER! Escape Lab

After reading the description of the game, I thought it would be something higher than I expected. Overall, the graphics are okay, but with problems that occur throughout the game. The same problem, and with the preserves, after 15 minutes of play, went on break, went back into the game and save as there was no. What I was very upset !

2nd degree contamination, 2nd degree contamination, 2nd degree contamination, 2nd degree contamination, 2nd degree contamination, LSD, 2nd degree contamination, 2nd degree contamination, 2nd degree contamination.

Ok so i have now completed this and i have to say the constant droning of the 2nd degree contamination is annoying. The game is functional and nowhere near as janky as other vr escape games (im looking at you onskull) however do you know why escape rooms jump in and give you little hints? Because nobody likes to lose these things and you’re much more likely to recommend it to a friend if you walk away happy than if you walk away frustrated. either a mild hint system or something would go a long way but that said it needs more than 6-10 puzzles to make it interesting. i would say this is more like a just below good experience than the bad one the thumbs down suggests but its asking would i recommend someone spend money on this game and the answer is mostly no.

Electrify

Electrify

This game is still in earliest of access, but doesn’t say so - Version 0.1 when you boot it up.

Essentially broken - experienced many crashes.

It’s very unstable, crashing when saving components.

The interface is very difficult to use and poorly explained.

Moving/deleting components clunky of fails often

Bugs where circuits gave wrong answer or moved inputs and outputs.

Stores circuits as truth tables in json - so you can’t edit previous components you’ve made. And very slow to save components with more than 8-10 inputs or outputs, and then makes megabyte sized text files.

Stratup screen says: “ALPHA VERSION, EVERYTHING IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE”

Where is it written on the store page it’s an alpha??

Could be fine/interesting, but, unfortunately, it’s really an alpha, it’s very unpolished

Equilibrium is a planet simulator with an environmentalist twist – you manage procedurally generated worlds, trying to keep conditions suitable for human habitation.

Manage the happiness of your global human population by providing a clean, liveable environment.

Manage global atmospheric conditions by minimising pollution and encouraging the use of renewable energy and reduced consumption.
