Space Otter Charlie
A unique humorous space adventure to find Otters a new home. Really fun gameplay & story with cool weapons and upgrades.
Space Otter Charlie is a really fun space adventure game where humans have abandoned Earth and Otters must take on responsibility to find the animals a new home!
The movement mechanics are very unique and smooth which makes it very easy to learn, the gameplay is really fun with many weapons and possibilities for attacking the various enemies in each of the well designed levels. I loved the story and the humor too, there were some great Otter puns and at no point did it feel like the story was dragged out.

Target Audience: Those wanting a small test of puzzling, and those with kids
Summary:
Space Otter Charlie tries to be the little space engine it could, and it somewhat succeeds in being a middle tier puzzle platformer that uses momentum and trap placement to test the player, but not be overly difficult in the process. To me, it’s a good game to get your kids introduced into thinking about things while still being something you can play and enjoy, even if those looking for a hardcore challenge in the genre and not going to find it here. Puzzle design hits a game of great to annoying, and in the middle third of the game when it hits its stride, you can be really having fun with it. Granted, there will be times it stumbles, sometimes the lack of useful information can lead to the wrong assumptions made and lead to even more frustration on the player’s part. The combat is serviceable but only serves as minor hazards to space out the puzzles, although the reflector ray can lead to some really fun moments.

Defy Gravity Extended
Tough platforming game, but worth the cheap price you can find it at, or especially when it goes on sale you can easily find it for less than a buck. The goal, to reach the end of each level offering a different level of difficulty with different obstacles. The gimmick, a double jump ability and an anti-gravity/well-gravity gun. Using both of these while stagnant is easy though tricky, but when you have to use them while on the run can prove quite difficult and at times frustrating. The hard mode features only the well-gravity gun. Beating this latter mentioned segment proved really difficult and a true test of the puzzle and platforming skills. I did find a few odd issues. At times the screen would go black when loading or reloading a level. Shooting would fix the problem, however, if the level was saved at a save point, you may need to act quickly, shooting and eliminating your gravity shot then moving forward when given limited time only added to the difficulty and when it’s unnecessary difficulty, it made it really bad. The graphics are simple, the sound and music forgettable, but it’s the gameplay that wins this game a recommendation.

Overview
Defy Gravity Extended is a small game, with only a few tricks, but does it very well. It lacks the flair of a quality game, but once you go in and try it, it certainly redeems itself. In this game, you play as a spacesuit wearing gravitymancer trying to pass the gauntlet. You are equipped with a gravity gun (not the HL type!) and have to traverse many levels to prove your worth!
The Pros:
- Simple Concept - If you can make a simple game fun, you have succeeded as a developer. The game mechanics are very simple. You move about, and create two types of “portals”. One that has a strong gravitational pull and one that repels objects. You can also activate a shield around you that negates any gravity effects. Leaving breaking the laws of physics aside, you must combine these simple actions in order to get yourself to the exit.

spaceBOUND
This game will put friendships to the test as you figure out just how well you can cooperate with each other, especially when your death count reaches into the hundreds (which it likely will). Even if you are just playing it by yourself, it’s the type of game that can be rage-inducing, but rewarding once you beat those points. Eventually you will feel like Tom Cruise in Edge of Tomorrow, as you (hopefully) get better with each death.
Pros:
-Gameplay that is frustratingly difficult but somehow draws you in for more (like your Ex)

This game is too fucking difficult, and 99% of the time it feels like you won by pure luck. It doesn’t help that you are playing with a piece of shit friend, known as Rend. He has completely ruined this experience.
These words are what he describes the game’s experience as: This game has shattered my hope and my pride. I have degraded into a filthy ape man, flinging shit at his screen.

Space Monster is a physical puzzle with a side view. Exploding bombs throw a space monster into a black hole.
The monster from space is a threat to the planet Earth. You can’t kill a monster, but you can throw it into a black hole and save the Earth!
The game has 50 levels that increase in difficulty as you progress.
Game for logical thinking, reaction speed, good for children.

Lifeless Planet Premier Edition
EDIT: There is a Premium Edition FREE upgrade for current owners in 2015 so buy now!
TL;DR at the bottom.
Lifeless Planet is an incredible game filled with atmospheric joy and a story that only gives you just enough to figure out what is going on. You play as an American astronaut that is sent to explore a planet that your readings suggest is brimming with life. Upon arrival you find that this planet is nothing like you expected. It houses strange secrets of past explorers and a nation trying to find the perfect life away from Earth only to find that meddling with things they don’t understand almost never ends happily. An interesting mix of casual exploration and platforming, it keeps things relatively fresh most of the time. You should feel the want to get to the end to see how everything pans out and what the mysteries of this Lifeless Planet are, but at the same time your feeling of eerie isolation and the ambient sounds of the world make you want to take your time looking at the planet and chilling out as well. I became lost in the isolationist atmosphere and didn’t want it to end.

81 / 100
Lifeless Planet is a beautifully atomspheric adventure game, throwing you in the space suit of an astronaut who, after a long journey through space, reaches a mysterious planet in search of life & potentially a new home for humanity. On arrival, you discover you are alone, isolated on a planet seemingly devoid of life, yet strangely there is a Soviet town abandoned long ago. How can this be & what has happened here? As the story unfolds, & you explore more of this intriguing alien world, you soon realise there is a much more going on than meets the eye. The planet is not as lifeless as it seems…

Starts off pretty interesting, then you get annoyed, half the time you’re fighting with the controls and bad camera angles.
Even the menu is a bit hit n miss if the controller navigates the menu correctly or if you even have the ability to navigate the menu’s with the controller, I had to resort to using the keyboard most of the time I wanted to access menu, like when trying to exit.
enjoy 5 minutes of watching someone else give up at the same point I have got to.
