Larger Than Light
Quite a shorty of a indie game, and it does feel a bit like a school project tbf, but nevertheless with its interesting puzzle mechanic that i would have loved to see more of, lit character design (hehe) and some wholesome family bonding i would give a recommend for it.

Bro, where’s My head???
If you have ever played Zup & Oik series then you are not missing much. It’s basically the same concept. Although I do think this is an easier version of that game. It is a good place to start if you feel that some levels of “Zup & Oik” are sometimes hard to complete.
I recommend it to people who are starting out in these types of puzzle games and need time to adjust to the dynamic of the plays.
Overall, not a bad one in the bunch and a game that just about anybody can play.

Some people and myself included are problably fine with the fact that this game is a “Chocolate makes you happy” or even “Next” rip off in a way.
Despite the fact that it’s actually a pretty darn good one! It runs fine and it has a fun art style!
Many may not think so but looking past how simple “Bro where’s my head??” may be to some, you see complexity and creativity above all.
The road to victory presented in each level requires players to employ basic problem solving skills and rudimentary thinking.

ColorBlend FX: Desaturation Prologue
I’ve played puzzler platformers and I’ve played puzzlers based around colours, but Color Blend FX is looking to combine those and expand it across an expansive Metroidvania with a story to boot. This prologue is a very strong proof of concept.
In terms of an MV game you’re only getting one movement upgrade, but if you’re skeptical about the basics this prologue should have you setting your doubts aside.

Super fun game and I like the puzzles which are not overly challenging. Great concept for a game which I have never seen. The game runs very smooth and I really look forward to the full game if there is one.

Mechinus
Embark on a clockwork puzzle-platforming adventure set in a mechanical ecosystem as Cognito, a curious creature whose duty to maintain the lifecycle of this captivating world leads him on a journey to heart of the machine in order to save it.
In this metallic jungle - where life is mechanical, rather than biological in nature - evolution has given rise to a beautifully orchestrated set of behaviours, which underpin the tactile clockwork puzzles and dynamic platforming of the game.
Mythic Prelude - Concept Demo
Lucky me gets to write the first review for Mythic Prelude - Concept Demo. Despite being flagged and published on Steam as a full game instead of a demo (perhaps an error by the developer when publishing), this is definitely just a demo and not a complete game.
Mythic Prelude is a template flip from the godawful GameMaker Studio game construction kit. The developer took a template for a 2D top down Zelda style retro pixel brawler, filled out the detail, slapped a few asset flipped sprites and low effort retro pixel backgrounds on, and then dumped it on Steam. GameMaker Studio is a terrible quality “game” construction kit, so it’s no surprise that games “made” by copying + pasting templates from it are likewise terrible quality, and there’s no exception here. Game construction kits aren’t meant to make professional products, they’re meant to educate and teach people about some aspects of game making, and to make demos to pass around to friends.

Do you like short games with worse graphics made by university students in 5-6 months? Then boy do I have the game for you.
It’s a silly game, but otherwise quite solid. A nice platformer that encourages speed and tricks (though most levels are flexible enough.) Oh, and there’s prop physics and some cool dev-like secrets too. Overall, a nice challenging experience. Just be prepared for the steep difficulty at the end.
I’m personally glad this game exists. Hope the creators enjoyed making it and maybe even make more game stuff!

Power Of Language
Power Of Language is a suspense text game mainly featuring dialogues. The game is about a case caused by a certain mental illness in the future, and you’d act as a hypnotist to talk to prisoners for investigations that eventually lead to the truth. Besides, you need to be careful of every tiny clue contained in memory scenes. The plot lasts for 40 to 60 minutes.
. A dialogue-based game.

. You’d investigate an unbelievable case to figure out the truth through dialogues and memory scenes.
