Interesting idea in platform perspective game play. Worth the $$. The game is relaxing and the design is nicely done. Generally fairly easy with some tricky obstacles. Easy to burn a some time and pick up a bit later. Looking forward to the finished game.

Not a new concept, rotating 3D scenes to align 2D platforms in order to progress, but this is the only bad implementation I’ve played so far.
The main issue is the inconsistency, the fact that I can’t ascertain what I can jump onto and what I can’t; what will constitute a solid floor and what won’t. Contributors are the weak level design, the cheap visuals, and the glitches. Hard to evaluate the extent of the latter, but I’ve had screens fully made of invisible objects with segments of horizontal black lines here and there. I’ve been stuck inside zones that weren’t how they were supposed to be, as confirmed when coming back from an earlier checkpoint and through cutscenes that hadn’t played the first time around.

A Fold Apart
Interesting puzzle concept. I got stuck in a few but never enough to look up a solution. Some puzzles (especially early ones, but also some later ones) are very easy. Feels like the game is trying to make you feel frustration and release in sympathy with the characters instead of ramping up difficulty just because it’s a game.
Presentation is impressive. Transitions, multi-view shots, and walking over folds are done seamlessly.
Dialogue (text messages) between the characters is generally pretty good. Some a bit too cheesy/sappy but some felt genuine. The puzzle thought text is usually too melodramatic.

VEREDICT: 8/10.
A Fold Apart is a sweet puzzle game with its mechanics and visuals well tied to its themes. The game could use some quality of life improvements and a smoother learning curve, but it’s worth it.
MECHANICS: Positive. The folding paper puzzles manage to match the allegorical emotional landscapes of a long-distance relationship cleverly. Some of the mechanics didn’t click for me and I think it could use a few extra steps to ease you into new stage gimmicks. At least the game has a solid hint system.

I liked this game a lot more than I was expecting to. Honestly from the pictures, it just seemed like a bizarre fantasy game with a very imaginative child protagonist, but the story is much deeper and darker than what I had imagined. The story has you experiencing the formative memories of a convicted murderer, but you learn that the story presented is not what it seems to be. And the main character’s life had been a series of unfortunate tragedies. There is a constant theme of abuse within the relationship of the protagonist and his father who is both emotionally distant and abusive. Each section of the game deals with a different period of the child’s life and your method of progressing and the game play itself changes. It’s a very neat concept and eliminates a feeling of repetitiveness you may get from similar types of games. You grow attached and you want to see the hero become successful and overcome all the difficulties you faced. It’s an unfortunately grim game but well told and worth playing.

One of the few great little indie game you’ll play. One of those who’ll mark you and make you think about your own life.
Even if it have 3 to 5 hours of gameplay, you will think about it for the next 10 hours.
I definitely recommand it. Play that game.

Teleportals. I swear it’s a nice game
Teleportals. I swear it’s a nice game, is the second game developed and published by PixelGreeds. It’s a prequel to their first game; Yissa Deep Realms, and although they share similarities, they couldn’t be more contrasting from each other.
Susan, a respected scientist who devoted her life to find a cure to a very specific stripe of the flu, one that kills relentless, finds herself in a fight against all odds to save her friend Nancy, who is running out of time.
After a long day of work, Susan must rest, so she can work even harder on the next day, and finally hitting the bed sounds an unnecessary effort, but one she must do.

A solid puzzle platformer, with great map design, nice dialogue and unlockable spicy images. The art and animations are amazing considering its budget. For this price, this game is a steal.
Default keyboard controls are far from the standard, but you can easily rebind those. I had some problems advancing dialogue with rebound keys, but nothing major. You aren’t able to place a teleport while moving, and, while you need to get used to it, the maps are built around that limitation, making it a nonissue.

Time Loader
A wonderful little game
Not many hours are needed for completion, but the replay value is immense
You control a little robot, sent back in time to save your creator from a debilitating accident
You need to try and remove that which causes the accident to happen
On the way you will need to gather more capabilities
Tighten or remove screws with a screwdriver, or fix electronics with a soldering iron
Also, scattered throughout the game are glyphs, which you will need to collect to unlock the secret ending

Short but very lovingly designed puzzle platformer with a well-told story. The short duration of the game is not particularly bad, as it is worth playing through the game several times to reach the different endings. The puzzles are clever and playful, but will hardly overwhelm anyone. Some jumps need a bit of timing, but there are hardly any frustrating parts. The controls and the extensions that are gradually being added work flawlessly. Only the grappling hook is a little inaccurate.
