Golf Club Wasteland
A neat little mini-golf game set in the post apocalypse. The vibes are pretty depressing, since you ARE golfing in the wasteland, but it’s easily offset by RADIO NOSTALGIA FROM MARS!!!! (There used to be a mini review here but I’m done with this game for now)
After trying out iron mode for 5-6 hours, I can confidently say that this mode is a gimmick and that the developers did not play-test this mode at all. Want proof? Check out the achievement statistics, you’ll see that the Iron mode achievement has a VERY low % of the players completing it. Clearly, this a cardinal sin of laziness, with the developers thinking that it’s okay to slap a mode like this into the game and market it but not attempt it themselves. This is a ridiculous challenge in of itself, the weakest point of the game, and you bet your ass that I’m going to give some brutally honest feedback for it.

I’m not recommending this game because the whole package is a bit of a mess, but it does has its merits.
Without talking too much about the story, it’s a bit of a mess in that when you go through and re-read it, things don’t match up or just aren’t very well told. There’s a story here, and then there’s another telling of another tiny story, and those two somewhat contradict each other a bit. The stories told on the radio are also fantastic on their own, but it paints a bit of an incongruent history that might be a bit too scathing for the things it has a bias against; to the point where it sorta ignores how the world works…but I mean, it’s a story; there’s nothing wrong with that besides making it a bit unbelieveable.

Chetz!
Chetz is a great game that combines platform gameplay with Chess aesthetics. Don’t be fooled by the simple graphics, the game is indeed challenging and requires precision. Good exercise to train your reflexes.

Very original concept that leads to a ton of fun mix & match combos. Trying to figure out which pieces to use against which obstacles is changeling but executing those moves is harder still. Would recommend using a Xbox controller

Creep
Creep is a 2D platform game that takes place inside a struggled person’s inner world represented as a worm world. You control the worm form of the same person as he shows why this world exists and how it’s like to live there.
I have no friends and life is full of obstacles
Yes, it is hard to say the other worms in the world are friendly, and there are lots of other dangers you will encounter. There is no one else other than you to cope with all these. Your only weapon is your wit against this crooked world until you reach the point to hell with it. This won’t just go forever like that. Your relationship with other worms will change as you progress.
I once loved too
Throughout the story, you will occasionally visit some memories or analogical mini levels with different gameplay than the main part of the game. These levels will unlock new abilities the worm can use. These abilities are not mere powers. They are part of the actual character progression itself and they will start to change the main gameplay and story.

Dodge If you Can!
The pros:
this game is definitely challenging, feels nice to pass through a few hard ones like level 17
pretty fun and engaging along with the music (would be better if the music was slightly quieter)
overall design of the game is nice
The cons:
would be better if there was a pause button or a save button but it’s alright since I get used to passing through the easy levels
that’s honestly it
if you guys enjoy a challenge this is definitely the one. it could be considered to be one of the hardest games I’ve played so far

Impossible Mission Remastered
All I have to say is, I’ve about had enough of slaving away at games and not getting an ending. So I played this over and over, had a few near misses, but I thought it’d be worth continuing for the dubious pleasure of seeing an ancient screen of a defeated, old mad scientist in his control room and then a “Mission Complete” screen with scores. I didn’t even fucking get that. After the control room door opens, the screen makes the blocky, crossfade transition to the “Mission Terminated” screen. Instead of a meagre reward I got a “fuck you” from the guys who did this remaster job. Well fuck you right back.

EDIT 24/11/2020
The game now works. It is the crappiest port everyone could immagine, I don’t know how someone could have the guts to put this thing on sale. Collision problems, non consistent phisics, the robots have strange patterns, puzzle are off, sounds don’t match with animations, and sometimes the character FLIES over the holes. This is an insult to everyone who loves the original game, to Epyx a to the game itself.
Bought on Day One. Totally unplayable: entering on any rooms it doesen’t show the platforms (see the screenshots) so the player falls off and die in loop.

Incremental Epic Breakers
I liked Incremental Epic Heroes (IEH) by the same developer, so I gave it a try. I have to say that at first I didn’t like this one very much. It required a lot of active play, it was very slow to improve, and honestly just breaking blocks wasn’t very fun. I stuck with it though mostly out of loyalty to the developers.
It got a LOT better. First the developers put out an update that speeds the progress early on which was really needed. Secondly, the game modes get interesting later on. The missions are the first start, but it really gets fun with the challenges and as you really start to use the crafting system.

Not a fun game at all. Only playing this to get rewards on IEH
Multiple bugs and logical errors. Capture shot that costs 5k coins in store doesn’t do anything in challenge when placed, what a waste. If you buy quest rarity, the quests you get are practically impossible to complete by a normal human. You want me open 100 chests in 24 hours? Active play I don’t see more than 5 an hour. 10 mimics in a day? I think I’ve seen 10since I started playing 2 days ago. Too many flaws, don’t waste your time here even if it’s for IEH bonuses

Kitty Adventure
Nice platformer for all cat-lovers.

I liked this game, especially the ability to play it with a gamepad. This game is a game like mario, where a kitten (or squirrel) runs through the forest and the beach, jumps through the trees, at the same time killing evil creatures that will interfere with him in order to pass the level and move on to the next. The game deserves to be noticed. 10/10
