I’m on Observation Duty 3
A threequel to the infamous ‘I’m on Observation Duty’??
Yes. Yes! YES!! Shut up and take my money! This is my favorite ‘Spot the difference’ game.
Hands down my favorite in the series so far as there are no cameras(except the one in your phone) and you are free to explore the house. There have been a handful of improvements to the game that have made this an even more fun experience than its predecessors.
- Freedom to roam the house so you can see objects up close and have a better idea of their placement/size.

I understand the want to make a vr version but I feel that this kind of game worked better in the fixed camera format that the first two games had. Having to look around for such small changes works better when you can see everything at once and pick up on what has changed. The first level of this game is possible once you get a hang of going around in a circle so you can pick up on a pattern that is similar to the first two games but the headquarters level is so much bigger and has so many branching paths that the annoyance of navigating overtakes the search for subtle changes. It’s fine to try new things but I hope that you’ll do more similar to the style of the first two in the future. Even if you would just take these levels and make additional fixed camera versions, that’d be great. Then you could have both the vr and fixed camera versions.

“BUTTS: The VR Experience”
sense i was 10, ive always felt a void in my life i could never fill. i tried alchohol, love, and self mutilation. none of it worked. i was near the brink when i was browsing steam and one game caught my eye. butts, a vr experience. i did a double take as its shiny picture beaconed me forward. i clicked the game and was met with a glorious steam page. hastily i bought it with all my spare money i have saved up over the years. i open the game, and i am met by our protagonist, blue face mc blue. hes happily stutting along on his day when, halt! whats this? his freind red face mc red is sad! we see into blue face’s deep character where he does everything in his power to cheer his childhood freind up. SPOILERS! he reaches deep inside his anus, and pulls out confetti to cheer his freind up! never have i seen such sacrifice to cheer a freind up. red slowly but surely lightens up to blue faces ways, as he himself starts to shit out confetti. they share a heartwarming and gorgeous scene where the confetti propels them upwards, they land, and share an intimite moment. red face cheered up, they have a tender embrace. we gaze up to the moon, and gaze at it mooning us. a glorious end, to a deep, thought provocing game. truely makes you question ones self.

Mental Hospital VR
I really really enjoyed this. Very spooky. Very horrible. One for more hard core horror fans.
Word of warning though. There is no strafe, which makes movement feel odd. Also, needs a brightness slider for the V Pro 2.

The game is really good and has so far been the most scary game I played.
The graphics and immersion is great and so is the sound.
For the bad things. the walking is based on head orientation instead of hand.
I disliked some levels where you had to go back and forth to progress the story, mainly the last level in the mansion.

A Fear Of Heights, And Other Things
An early, somewhat drab, but fairly generous offering of VR experimental experiments. Easily worth a dollar, back then, and maybe even now too, but of course, you could consume endless amounts of this stuff in ways that are free. I like the scene where you get crushed in between the walls. Hell, you know what? This is all pretty good now that I’m remembering it. Fork over your dollar, idiot. https://youtu.be/XFuMWoaa6KY

Although the graphics are very simple, it creates the feeling of height!

CURSED NIGHT - The House
It is a really good game, tbh it is a jumpscare game literally, i liked it.
However, if i can get some help with it because apparently I got stock here: (Spoiler alert)
! Right after I got the fourth baby toy cube/block, I know i have to spell the word DEVIL, I was missing the letter L, I was also missing the orange Key and 3 other pink fuses…
So I was wondering if i can get some help?
Update
Well, after I completed the game I can say it is a really good game, puzzles, jumpscares, nice environment, graphics are just amazing (I played on a 3070 Ultra settings).

You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/4nb-Lxd4f58
I’m giving this a neutral recommendation. While I did enjoy this game, I do think it is way overpriced for what it is. It took me approximately an hour to beat this game and the production values here just don’t justify the current $14.99 USD price tag.
So this is a campy, B horror, type game that does rely on jump scares. However, I thought the jump scares were done right in this game. What I mean by that is that they were paced correctly, made sense in the context of the game, and added the right amount of atmosphere while trying to find a way out of this house.

Desert Bus VR
If you are lucky, this might be the worst game you will ever play.
–-
What does that even mean? Let me explain:
There’s good games. There’s bad games. There’s interactive art pieces that use game mechanics. There’s barely interactive media that present themselves as games. There’s training simulators that are set up like games but aren’t intended to be games. There’s… how many of these would you like me to list? Want to talk about interactive movies? What about visual novels? What about… oh, was I wasting your time? Did you want me to make a point about Desert Bus? Hang on, I wasn’t done rambling…
– Real player with 1337.1 hrs in game
That’s a great game.
In fact, I realized that it can substitute my sleep time.
For the last month, more or less, I spend my former sleep hours driving this bus and I felt very well the next day.
The only side effect is that sometimes when I’m walking distractedly I tend to slowly drift leftways. No big deal.
UPDATE:
So… Strange things started to happen as I slowly began to expand my daily driving time.
Now I’m nearly driving 16 hours a day and sometimes I have some really weird and vivid dreams.

Finsterwald
**Wandering through the deep forest, the tired wayfarer decides to arrange a night camp in a small glade hidden among the tall pines. After cutting young fragrant pine branches and resting for a while near the lightning fire, he suddenly feels a vague anxiety caused by the weirdness of the surrounding forest - not a single sound, not a single gust of wind…
The deeper the advancing darkness becomes, the deeper and more inevitable is the feeling of the growing danger of blurry forest shadows and glittering red eyes, flashing among the trees.
Only the bright campfire stands between the wayfarer and the strange outlines of the forthcoming tall figure…**
“Finsterwald” is a survival horror with elements of adventure VR game (and EVENTUALLY a 3D game - depending on Kickatarter campaign results), based on Dark Ages period German fabulas about Ancient Guardian of the Forests – Waldschrat. Vigilantly observing the behavior of all visitors, he watches over the peace and safety of trees, birds, animals and other fosterlings on the entrusted territory.
As today old narratives are almost forgotten, the careless wayfarers often do not possess the rules of behavior and don’t have knowledge about ways to tame the ancient power, still hidden in the heart of the forest…
State-of-the-art 3D immersive audio technology and modern visual design deliver the most immersive gaming experience ever. Dive into the thrilling atmosphere of old Germanic fabulas and try to cope, having only burning branches of the fire and a desperate desire to survive. Goodwilled Protector of Nature or an Evil Spirit? - It’s your turn to decide!

RED: Lucid Nightmare
I love the concept of this game, it’s challenging and creepy. The atmosphere was great, the game play was pretty great. My only complaint is that I have yet to finish it because I rage quit after making progress only to die and had to start the section over again. (There should be a save point after you best the little kid in the first part of the maze) I had spent many hours of running around in circles, so I was a bit salty. I do have the desire to finish it though and that’s always a good sign. Still recommend to anyone that loves FPS horrors.

Hey this is pretty good! It does still have some kinks like going through objects and I did get stuck at one point, it couldve used a little bit more play testing. But all in all the story and atmosphere seems really good so far. It has good pacing and good visuals. I would love to play in VR but I only have a vive :( Check out gameplay here.
