Gloom and Doom
Dude, this is so cutting!
I had so much fun playing this game. Well, that’s not quite a surprise to me, seeing as I was already predisposed to like it as soon as I read the description: “90s outcast movies” quirky, but oh so human, supernatural characters, “a dark coming-of-age story” against the backdrop of looming apocalypse, comicbook style visuals…But beyond that initial hook of 90s nostalgia, loads of pop culture references and familiar tropes I found much more - a careful look at depression, loneliness and alienation, being stuck in a loop with no exit, themes of free will vs destiny, choices and responsibility, and a central heartwarming relationship between two unlikely protagonists.

I’m not really one for visual novels, but this game has really changed my mind. It was recommended by a friend, and found it amazing with the ton of pop culture references in the dialogue and backgrounds. Simply amazed that this was all done by one guy. It does have some deep themes, but is well paced with its sense of humour. Also loving the art style, its unique and refreshing from the typical anime style. The intro/tutorial has also got to be the most interesting/different (in a good way) that I’ve seen in a long time in any game.

Lightmare Castle
I played this game a day or two after its release. There were a few game breaking bugs I noticed (as mentioned in previous reviews). I went to get the bow (huntsman quest) then couldn’t use the bow, or find my way back to the huntsman to begin my pelt quest.
I have since played this game again, about 2 weeks later and the changes made in that time are noticeable: huntsman is visible on map now, castle with bow is not dark and gloomy (it is quite nice with good lighting I might add) and the bow works (mostly). I am not a game developer, I understand there is work to be put into a game and I was able to notice the change. There are still bugs to be found. I noticed some of the wolves would seem to reanimate, with my arrows still in them, very interesting to see. I grew more limbs when I would load up a game from within the game. There were a few others I noticed as well.

Honestly this game has a bit of potential but there are soooooooo many things that should have been fixed before you even thought about releasing it. I dont want to call the game a scam because it shows that there was some effort put into it but 5$ is too much for this game. Its like buying a cup of coffee but just getting the cup with no coffee in it and also the cup has a hole in the bottom…also the cup is half made…and the other half is made out of shit.
When firing arrows you dont aim correctly you pull the arrow back to your eye which is a really weird perspective and when firing your arrows you can shoot your own bow with your arrow

Rising Noracam
I haven’t finished this one yet, due to my lack of motivation, but its still a pretty good goi like. It’s basicly a platformer control, but with a weird momentum that you have to keep to make some jump. Jump height also matter. If you bonk you get pushed a bit around and can fall but it feel random unfortunatly
The map design doesn’t seems to be punishing, there’s different screen change and i don’t think you can fall 2 screen in a row, although i only reached the third one so maybe it’s more punishing in the future.

SpaceCorn
I have no idea why this piece of shit is even on steam.
First off it’s completely text based.
Normally i would not mind a text based game but this game is LINEAR as fuck whatever you do you can only progress if you jump through the game’s hoops.
Second off it’s so damn short you finish the game in 10 minutes or less.
further more the game makes it a habit of trying to insult the player for doing stupid things he/she gets forced to do.
The only reason i played this game is because one of my twitch viewers gave this game to me.

SpaceCorn is a text game that might have been cutting edge technology in the 1950s, except that computer programmers in the 1950s probably wouldn’t have made so many spelling mistakes, or used the humour of 12-year-old for a publicly-released game.
Be warned that this is a text-based game based upon you choosing from multiple choices being offered.
You would be forgiven for assuming that picking an option would be as simple as clicking with a mouse - but, no, your mouse can’t be used with this game. Or you might think that you could, at least, make a choice by typing in a number - but, no, when you are offered a choice, you have to type in the entire answer - again, and again, and again, ad nauseum.

Finsterwald
**Wandering through the deep forest, the tired wayfarer decides to arrange a night camp in a small glade hidden among the tall pines. After cutting young fragrant pine branches and resting for a while near the lightning fire, he suddenly feels a vague anxiety caused by the weirdness of the surrounding forest - not a single sound, not a single gust of wind…
The deeper the advancing darkness becomes, the deeper and more inevitable is the feeling of the growing danger of blurry forest shadows and glittering red eyes, flashing among the trees.
Only the bright campfire stands between the wayfarer and the strange outlines of the forthcoming tall figure…**
“Finsterwald” is a survival horror with elements of adventure VR game (and EVENTUALLY a 3D game - depending on Kickatarter campaign results), based on Dark Ages period German fabulas about Ancient Guardian of the Forests – Waldschrat. Vigilantly observing the behavior of all visitors, he watches over the peace and safety of trees, birds, animals and other fosterlings on the entrusted territory.
As today old narratives are almost forgotten, the careless wayfarers often do not possess the rules of behavior and don’t have knowledge about ways to tame the ancient power, still hidden in the heart of the forest…
State-of-the-art 3D immersive audio technology and modern visual design deliver the most immersive gaming experience ever. Dive into the thrilling atmosphere of old Germanic fabulas and try to cope, having only burning branches of the fire and a desperate desire to survive. Goodwilled Protector of Nature or an Evil Spirit? - It’s your turn to decide!
Ruined King: A League of Legends Story™
(Review after 3 hours)
This game is an interesting mix of a lot of different types of games.
-
Turn-based combat: Think Banner Saga, Slay the Spire, Darkest Dungeon or Into the Breach. Into the Breach is probably the closest comparison as the combat mechanics involve quite a few different buffs/debuffs/combo potential. Slay the Spire is pretty close but without the roguelite element of constructing/tuning your deck.
-
RPG: There are main quests, optional side quests, a sandbox-like open world where you can loot random chests for a few gold and crafting materials. The gear/equipment system is deeper than expected. You can improve your characters' gear through fight rewards, purchasing it from vendors or upgrading what you have. Upgrading comes in two flavors, the typical upgrade all the stats as well as an “enchantment” system allowing you to augment gear with specific stats.

Utopia Syndrome
Utopia Syndrome is an episodic sci-fi, horror-adventure game with elements of mysticism. The first episode, Wake Up, focuses on the inhabitants of an underground shelter, struggling to survive against an interloping evil.
SYNOPSIS
Do you trust your senses? Do you wonder if they could ever lie to you? What if everything you’ve ever known to be real was a fiction?
Our protagonist awakens in a bleak prison cell. In the reflection of a fractured mirror stares back a haunted, disfigured face. He can’t recall what happened, or how he wound up as a prisoner… only his name. Anhel. He finds a note written by a girl, Mia, pleading for help while warning of an evil that stalks the corridors.
Anhel thinks his way out of the cell, taking him deeper into the twisting bowels of the bunker. He is met by the aftermath of a bloody massacre-only, the corpses are all gone. Indeed, Anhel may well be the only one left alive or dead. As he moves through the darkened corridors and the vacant rooms, Anhel becomes beset by visions. Fleshport
Absolutely amazing game! I loved every second of it. The game play is smooth and fun, and the characters as well as the story are very beautifully written. I highly recommend giving this game a try!

Finishing Fleshport took me about 9 hours, but I’m very slow and check every detail twice. This game had me hooked from beginning to end. Even with the small RPG Maker window size, I had the feeling that I was traversing through some supernatural landscape with its own people and customs. The characters are both unsettling and charming.
The design in some parts of the game are confusing, with doors that are hard to notice and details that are easy to miss. There was one puzzle in particular I could only figure out after interacting with every object and smooshing my face against every wall. There are also some bugs, especially with the chase mechanics, but nothing game-breaking. I fully recommend this weird, weird game.

Priscilla Barielle (プリシラ・バーリエル) is the Matriarch of House Barielle and a candidate to become the 42nd King of Lugnica. Her original name was Prisca Benedict (プリスカ・ベネディクト Purisuka benedikuto),[1] one of many offsprings of the previous Vollachian Emperor. While only a supporting character in Arc 3 and Arc 5, she is set to have a major role in Arc 7.[2]
Hailing from the highly hierarchical Vollachia Empire, she has a very arrogant demeanor where she constantly talks down to those around her. However, she has also shown herself to be far from foolish and actually has the skills to backup her words.
