Distrust: Polar Survival
TL;DR: I love arctic survival games - but Distrust: Polar Survival is a lesson in how NOT to make an arctic survival game. Distrust is supposed to be a game about surviving in arctic conditions - yet once you figure out how to manage your resources, you’ll find the biggest challenge is surviving the many bugs like dropped connections and lost inventory.
PROS
I love arctic survival games, where you are not just fighting to survive but where the harsh conditions of the environment itself is killing you. If this doesn’t describe what you enjoy playing, I’d advise you to stop right now and pass on this game.

Distrust:
“Mayday. . . Can anyone hear us? . . . We need help. . . We’re losing people one after the other. . . HELLLP!” Then . . . silence. That’s when we decided to send a rescue team to our neighbouring Arctic base. But then, as the helicopter approached the base, screams were echoing all around. All we could decrypt on our end was “what is that light?” After that, all communication was cut and there was no sign of the chopper on our radar. I hope the rescue team survived the crash. That’s just the start of Distrust!

## Post-Soviet Yandere
This project is a mix of horror and crafting genres. The whole game fits into a week of the life of a little Russian girl. Every day the character must make a particular magic ritual, using the materials at hand. At the same time, the player must control the activity of otherworldly and hostile forces. The girl should periodically look in the mirrors, which are distracting from her task. The movement of evil spirits of the apartment is visible only in reflections. But what happens if the spirit gets too close?

## Space Captain McCallery - Episode 3: The Weaponmaster's Challenge
#### The Weaponmaster's Challenge
_In the lawless reaches of the galaxy known as the Renegade Sector_
**Space Pirate Captain McCallery** needs a Weaponmaster to round out his new crew, and he knows there's only one man for the job: **Mark Two-Blasters**. A former member of his crew, Mark Two-Blasters left a year before the rest of the crew mutinied, due to disagreements with some of the other crewmembers. He took a shuttle and flew to the **planet Ograr III**, one of the most dangerous planets in the sector, to spend time training in isolation.
**Ograr III**, a planet of prehistoric beasts. **Ograr III**, a planet of thick forests and high mesas. **Ograr III**, where Mark Two-Blasters has made his home for the past year.
In this 3D Action-Adventure game, McCallery will have to explore a dangerous world, battle prehistoric monsters, survive off the land, and search for his old ally. With how things left off, Captain McCallery knows that Mark Two-Blasters won't make himself easy to find. If McCallery wants Two-Blasters to rejoin his crew, he will have to prove himself in **The Weaponmaster's Challenge**

#### Consume Alien Plants
The Captain needs to eat to survive! Be on the lookout for plants which you can consume to regain your energy. Food items can have a variety of other effects, ranging from restoring health and increasing your dash length, to hallucinations. Explore your environment to find rare and beneficial items!

### Game Of The Year
LSG and Wainstop have done it yet again. To say the unbreakable chain is a masterpiece, would be an understatement.
I argue there is a second meaning to this game that takes a bold take on the human psyche, showing what it means to be human. It does all of this with a beautiful medley of music by Yasushi Kaminishi, ghxyk2, and Bankbank, and animation produced by LSG.
**SPOILERS!!!**
In the first level, you are a worm. Aimlessly worming around with no direction, much like humans do. You wander until you find a whole, a gateway. This represents childbirth, The worm immediately killed, just like how a child is ejected into a cruel world in which he can die at any moment.

![Ghost Stories 2](https://cdn.cloudflare.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/1423270/header.jpg "")
## Ghost Stories 2
Not so scary story about escaping a house by doing tasks. Not very bad, but I can't recommend it.
#### Story
You arrive at a house, and are attacked by a ghost. You pass out and awaken inside the gates. The game prompts you to complete tasks in order to escape. In and around the house a couple of white ghosts roam around, not overly aggressive since they mostly ignore you. When exploring the perimeter you find notes of people who lived there to provide a backstory.
#### A house…
…and that's it... While the house is pretty decent created (with standard assets), it's not enough to host an entire game. I can imagine that this is created by one person, and as for games made by a one-man-team, this is a decent attempt. It even has some voice acting!

Got sent an early access code of the game, downloaded and completed it, the game graphically and sound wise it's phenomenal, there are some tweaks needed here and there, but overall very very good, as for game play, well it's overall smooth, and controls are standard, easy to use and play with, however the "ghosts" are irrelevant, there is ZERO "scare" factor in this game, they are more just in the background or in the way as you try to solve the puzzles, overall the games fun and you'll get about 2.5/3 hours of play time (first run) before you complete it.

## The secret of the stone
So here I go I know the game is very cheap but in the house and outside there was no ambience it was just a quiet game all the way through, some parts where to dark to even see even with the candles on the ground.
I didn't get to see some of the parts of the game from the screenshots because I couldn't figure out what to do after putting the candles in the right rooms.
I tried turning of the lights after that to see if that would do anything.
I managed to find a key and I used it on the garage door it unlocked but still couldn't open the door I think you have to solve the riddle before you can open the door, I had some idea what the answer was but didn't how to go about it.

Played on Linux using Proton-GE, Video Files, Another UT Engine Horror Game using same pre-made Source code and assets as most other 1 man band game dev.
The normal bad lighting Game, most of the time just darkness and you cannot see at all and then when there is light it's to bright, Graphics sub-par, Sound very very minimal as mostly no sound, Game play bad as i said it's mostly to dark to see, and door problems because of bad mapping/placement, and i don't think this is a Horror Game as i found nothing scary when playing as much as i could, Not Recommended.

## The Trap
I really enjoyed playing this game, it definitely reminded me of the game called 'Darkwood', the environment was very good plus the sound effects made it more creepy, all the mechanics were neat, I like that it's a bit randomized everytime you play, and it's pretty well balanced, after playing for a while you can easily understand the route and the mechanics, definitely worth a try.
