TL;DR: I love arctic survival games - but Distrust: Polar Survival is a lesson in how NOT to make an arctic survival game. Distrust is supposed to be a game about surviving in arctic conditions - yet once you figure out how to manage your resources, you’ll find the biggest challenge is surviving the many bugs like dropped connections and lost inventory.
PROS
I love arctic survival games, where you are not just fighting to survive but where the harsh conditions of the environment itself is killing you. If this doesn’t describe what you enjoy playing, I’d advise you to stop right now and pass on this game.

“Mayday. . . Can anyone hear us? . . . We need help. . . We’re losing people one after the other. . . HELLLP!” Then . . . silence. That’s when we decided to send a rescue team to our neighbouring Arctic base. But then, as the helicopter approached the base, screams were echoing all around. All we could decrypt on our end was “what is that light?” After that, all communication was cut and there was no sign of the chopper on our radar. I hope the rescue team survived the crash. That’s just the start of Distrust!

## EQUALINE
The price is probably a bit steep for what it is, nonetheless this is a fun and stylish short-burst game of mental agility - Boggle for Maths, basically. Plenty of variants to the standard Endless mode as well. It's early access, so hopefully mouse will get patched in at some point, and it would be nice if it showed you the solution to a puzzle you passed or timed out on.

"Jubilane" is far better than its predecessors "Cavesweeper" and "Tess Elated".
It's a hexagonal minesweeper with picross elements.
If you get struck, deduce the colors of each question mark and swap the tiles.
Most puzzles can be finished without any guessing.
There are 72 puzzles in the Adventure Quest.
Completing quests will earn you treasury tokens.
This will unlock new game modes, different fonts, color themes and background artwork.
You can play any way you like in Solo and Multiplayer modes.

**Oh my god I love it.** This is like a self contained WaveVR-esq music abstract land, and a fairly expansive one. It seems very alien, like this is where the super intelligent god beings go to hang out. I absolutely love the ability to instantly teleport from one area to the next what with the automap thing (that got stuck to my hand once and I had to restart). In this way you can really get a sense of the entire space, and there are bulidings to go into to, and alot of work is spend on the soundscapes. _It's VR, so there is a gigantic large-breasted anime lady dancing, so it checks that important box as well._ Planet LEV is deliciously spacey and abstract.
! Specific areas have songs from real life artists. I saw Boris Divider on the automap. I'm not a huge fan of his work, it all sounds the same. I fell asleep to it once on a plane and woke up to it, and so his beats are endearing to me in that way. However in the current build of LEV that area is replaced with Biosphere, and I love Biosphere and overlay it on my vr videos alot. https://youtu.be/QCVLhZI43AM

### Experienced on the Oculus Quest 2
This is an interesting experimental art / music collaboration for VR. If you're into experimental stuff, then you might enjoy this. I will say that I thought navigation was clunky and unintuitive. You have teleportation only (where you have to click in on the Oculus Quest 2) and no snap or smooth turning.
Starting the experiences is also very clumsy. You can teleport to these pyramid structures then point and click on them with the off-hand (the other hand is for locomotion). Then press trigger. Unfortunately, when I tried the LIVE experience, nothing happened. I assume it was because there was no live experience at that time. There's also no information on when the live experience would be.

So, I've never really played a horror puzzle game like this but this got me into a whole new genre of games i didn't know i loved, and for those of you saying it wasn't scary I was definitely scared! the psych part of this game totally had me in my head and even though its a short game completed in about 2 hrs for myself it got me in my head for sure and that was the freaky part, perfect for spooky season for sure. i cant wait to see if this Developer comes out with more games because i will be watching. the puzzles aren't undo-able either, just takes some brain power! highly recommended. my viewers on stream loved it

ill give it 7/10 the doors is a bit strange you cant go sideways through them it just wont let you when i play it so some times i got stuck and you can take things through the walls at some places but besides that it was a good round game not so scary for the experience play in scary games but for the average player it will scare you i bet :)

## Space Slurpies
Space Slurpies is pretty much the classic mobile game Snake in Vr.
We play with a single motion controller moving our snake around that is attached to the end of it, trying to make him eat and grow until we can’t move any more. While it is very low-poly the graphics do what they need to do with the gameplay being the core of the game here.
Sadly, the game gets boring the more you are playing it. All levels are the same, only the background and the color keeps changing. But since the price is ok and a multiplayer is available, it fits…It is very suitable for parent-child games, and it is very childlike.

I am new to VR and this is one of my first games. Super easy to get started. The colors and textures were amazing. The game was challenging and had enough competitive elements to keep me super engaged. I had seen reviews and podcasts claiming how calming and chill the experience is. I was not let down, a great game to play during some down time. On the podcast interview the developers seem really cool. They did a great job with this game. The interaction was super smooth. The maps are extensive. I will be back in soon to check out the ones I didn't get to. I could just keep hanging out with the slurps, but had to go to work. You won't be disappointed. Even the soundtrack was enjoyable and fresh.

As a very early concept it does look insanely interesting. I'm curious in what direction the devs are gonna continue with this.
i'd love to see some sort of strafe-jumping mechanic like in quake, also some textures cause pure colours are pretty tiring for the eyes.

### In detail
Over the last couple decades there has been plenty of Tetris games and countless more if you include all clones or ones that somehow borrow the core idea of dropping shapes and having the player match them together. The gameplay needs no explanation, but this brings it officially to the modern systems and adds a couple new spins on it as well.
