Dark Dealings
So i stumbled upon this game whilst browsing through the store and what a find it turned out to be!!! A nice little game with elements of Dopewars, the original gta and even sensible soccer especially when using the top down camera! Even feels and looks a bit like the original south park in 3rd person! Proper little diamond in the rough and i look forward to spending more time on the game and for future developments!!!

To be up front I received the game from the developer for free.
I played the game for about an hour and the bare bones for an open world RPG has been laid out. Everything else still needs to be fleshed out. I think the developer would really benefit from making a free demo available so they could get a lot of feed back. I think this would be beneficial because the developer seems interested in the game being a success.
Keep in mind this game is in early alpha testing. The complete game could be great but in its currents state I don’t think it’s worth buying. I’m going to write out a review below but you can see my gameplay on my YouTube channel, linked below:

A PAINTING FOR CRAZINESS
The Surrealist Artist Ardois-Bonnot presented his painting called Dream Landscape in the Paris Spring Salon of 1926. The moment the painting was uncovered, it caused a sudden riot among the public, and people screamed and ran all over the place. Soon after the exhibition, Ardois-Bonnot fell into a strange deep sleep from which no one could wake him up. Rumors abound that shortly before this attack of ‘sleeping sickness’, he was at the verge of completion of his greatest masterpiece which would change the world.

El Shaddai ASCENSION OF THE METATRON HD Remaster
Full review (including score): https://youtu.be/RejP5rwsb6o
Summarized review below!
It’s not often that we get obscure, decade-old Japanese action games ported over to PC – but it’s definitely a trend I can get behind.
Note: Trimmed review to fit character limit, check video for full version!
Story:
The title – El Shaddai – literally means “God Almighty” and it is also one of the names for the God of Israel. The game itself is inspired by the Book of Enoch and you yourself play as Enoch on a journey to save mankind by preventing the great flood. To do so, you will need to seek out seven fallen angels and enlist the help of Lucifel – and that’s just scraping the surface of the weirdness that goes on here.

El Shaddai basically means Almighty God and this game has a heavy, but very stylized, theological theme running throughout.
The game is loosely based on apocryphal tales from Judeo-Christian biblical writings, but it’s purely as a backdrop and engine to drive a narrative. There’s no preaching or judgement and the story can be enjoyed by anyone regardless of denomination. You play the part of Enoch, a celestial scribe, (who also happens to be an immortal with ridiculous combat skills) tasked by God to venture to Earth and round up six fallen angels prior to the cleansing of the world by flood.

Kill Fish
Kill Fish is an indie game with a linear storyline. Hero is almost dead from fatigue in the forest, but someone founds him. Next morning he wakes up in the house of the girl who saved him. As the game progresses, you collect notes with fragments of an important story for the girl. In an attempt to protect her and survive on your own, you kill monsters on the way.
I liked the keyboard controls better. If you, like me, accidentally passed the control tips at the first levels, their full list can be found in the settings menu.

I enjoyed what this game offered even if it was really short. The creatures including the bosses had nice looks to them and their mechanics were pretty cool.
I did come across 2 bugs, One was the tentacle creatures not spawning in the beginning level where you come across a well in the beginning of the game and the 2nd bug also had to do with the same creature where I believe if you kill them off screen there was a chance of the noises they make getting stuck on a loop, becoming distorted and loud. The controls were also non responsive at times which made the game annoying at parts.

//N.P.P.D. RUSH//- The milk of Ultraviolet
You know what makes NPPD Rush great? It doesn’t explain anything. What many will identify as negative aspects of the game, some will find to be perfect for the vibe the developers intended.
The game is confusing. The gameplay and core mechanics are not described, or taught to you through ‘learning levels’ like so many other titles. The teletype text and short ‘scenes’ don’t give the player much more than nebulous hints, but encourage an imaginative player to read a great deal of the story between the lines. The crazy colour scheme, soundtrack and HUD make the game difficult to follow, and it will take you a number of playthroughs to figure out even the core mechanics.

Indie game, N.P.P.D RUSH - The milk of Ultraviolet, tries it’s best to bring retro arcade style goodness to the Steam storefront with it’s top down shooter gameplay and maze like level exploration, but unfortunately it falls short in a number of areas. Even with the low cost of entry and the fact that it is currently on sale for 20% off as a new release, N.P.P.D does little to innovate in a genre that has been inspired by a plethora of other indie games as of late. The look and feel are straight out of the mid-to-late 80’s, but the gameplay unfortunately doesn’t live up to the expectations or the intuitive mechanics we’ve come to enjoy from other modern classics such as Retro City Rampage or Hotline Miami. If you’re feeling nostalgic then you’d be better off saving your money for one of those two titles rather than picking up N.P.P.D RUSH in it’s current form. The gameplay sounds interesting on paper, but is only interesting for brief periods of time and coffee break style playthrus. In fact it’s very hard to categorize or compare the gameplay when it feels like a combination of less complete versions of more popular games and arcade gameplay styles.
