My Nuclear Octopus
Super-fast arcade shoot ‘em up, very easy to pick up and looks amazing in an incredibly retro way. Really addictive, and highly recommended for hi score chasers.

That’s funny, I don’t remember smoking DMT tonight.
It’s hardly the game of the year, but this is the type of unique, experimental oddity I always hope to find in the Steam bargain bin trash pile, yet rarely do. Weird and intense and loud and pretty good.

Color Souls
Incredibly amazing game. The movement of the character is a lot of fun and every boss and mechanics in the game are really surprising. The levels that you can jump on the monster’s head in sequence were very well thought out.

A pretty good platformer. I really like this unique aesthetic and gameplay concept where you can’t see the enviroment, so you have to move and jump to splash ink revealing the obstacles and platforms.

Spinch
LSD isn’t legal. Spinch is!
EDIT [going beyond my trivial and obvious ~joke~]
-
In my personal opinion, the game has the ideal difficulty, once it’s not hard enough to be annoying and far from being easy enough to be boring
-
The difficulty progression is also very balanced, with the game becoming more challenging while you develop your skills and get used to its physics
-
Talking about physics: it’s very unique and different from other platform games (character’s acceleration is kinda weird), but I also like it. I think it fits the lysergic experience and it becomes cool after a while

Spinch is colorful, beautiful, solid, fun, and brutally punishing.
It’s been out a year and only 90 reviews? What gives?
I’d describe this as a 90s throwback with crazy psychedelic art. Each enemy, boss, nearly every part of the level is some part rainbow and flashing. It’s super psychedelic, the animations are fantastic, the whole game is a feast for the eyes. If you have epilepsy, DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME. Despite being so colorful, isometric, and somewhat busy, the levels are easily navigable and you never feel lost or that you aren’t hitting the right part of the “3D” object or determining background/foreground. Love the enemies and the art style, each level brings a new environment and themes challenges to fit. These levels are hand crafted and each one has a new piece of rainbow art to add to this strange world.

100 hidden snails
One level game. My second game from this series. This one is a little harder than 100 hidden birds because you need to find the last and then the first snail in the image so that you could see the last part of the image (last 5 snails). Difficulty 6.5/10 (not that extremely hard as it is described in the game’s description). You need to find all 100 hidden snails. Got this game on a sale and I think it is worth its price. Finished the game in around 4 minutes. A reset button + a hint button would help to improve this game (at the moment if you want to reset the game you need to press esc+delete). All these being said I would give a 9/10 for this game (same as 100 hidden birds).

Do to Steam’s binary system this game gets a No from me cause I wouldn’t recommend it, despite it being a perfectly sound and honest game.
100 Hidden Snails certainly has 100 hidden snails. Normally for a game like this, I’d say it delivers quite perfectly upon its promise of what it is, but even so. Functionally this game is a single static image, through amusing to look at it, it still just an single image. There is very little challenge in finding the snails, and it has zero replay value, at 99 cents I suppose that is an alright value, but still seems high to me for what amounts to a page in a coloring book.

Way too short (under 1 hour for all levels), way too bugy (orange symbols don’t match most of the time) and the last achievement won’t unlock. Nope.

Square Game
A truly beautiful game, very in-depth and engaging story with lovable characters you can relate to. I’m addicted to this game, which I say somewhat lightheartedly. If we’re being honest, I haven’t slept because of this game (its just that good!!). Beautiful soundtrack and sound design as well, sometimes I leave the game running in the background while working just to listen to it. Visuals are somewhat lacking, however this game does include wonderful color schemes. This game truly changed me as a person, and I’m so grateful that it’s free. This game kept me from relapsing and ruining my 400+ day streak, please download.

The controls need some work, but otherwise this is a pretty solid time waster. There are no instructions, but it’s simple enough, you’ll figure it out.
It shouldn’t be marked puzzle, it’s just a match-up game. There is no actual puzzle involved.
