Desecrators

Desecrators

OK, first off I was a big Descent fan and more recently a fan of Overload but it didn’t have coop. For me, I thought that was a mistake.

Then along comes Desecrators. It seems to be a cross between Forsaken mostly, and partially Descent. The graphics look cool but are somewhat retro looking. The tanks remind me of Forsaken and the rest, Descent. And best of all, it has coop!!!

The most critical aspect of a 6DoF game is the ship control. The ship control is spot on with the default settings. It feels perfect and very neutral. You can also toggle auto ship leveling. The game allows you to rebind keys and has full controller support.

Another great indie 6DOF game ! 🙂

Desecrators is really promising and already pretty damn good despite being early in development, there’s lot of potential here to create a one of it’s kind 6DOF game.

Good controls, it’s fast and responsive, really nice feeling piloting the ship with just the right amount of inertia.

The weapons are satisfying and there’s many different to use.

Desecrators also have great retro graphics style which remind me of Forsaken.

The levels are procedurally generated so we get a new experience each playthrough and that’s pretty nice !

A really nice mix between base building, Rogue and Strategy with a simplistic style which fits the game. Love that you’ve to mix between being not too bold and expand too quickly or take it too slow and not be prepared for the bosses.

Keep it up developers!

Strife: The Expanse

Strife: The Expanse

Honestly the greatest game ever made.

A simple strategy game with 7 different units. You can customise the map (size and hills) and can change how many points each player/AI has to spend on units. There are 3 game modes FFA, Teams and CTF. You can have up to 3 AI or a total of 4 players in multiplayer.

The game is good for the price but if you are not new to strategy games you might find this game a bit dull. If you are new to strategy games though i recommend at lest trying it as a default game only takes around 8-10 mins to complete.

After around 1k hours of play time, I still love to play this gem of a game. New maps, mission types, cosmetics and so on are added from time to time for free. The available DLCs are only special cosmetics and not needed to be purchased except you want to support the developers a bit. Definetely worth a try! #ForKarl #RockandStone #Leavenobeerbehind

Gatedelvers

Gatedelvers

A co-op roguelike dungeon crawler that lets you play your way.

NOTE: The Demo version does not feature co-op.

  • High playstyle variety - whether you prefer stealth, swords, magic or crafting, there’s something for you.

  • Upgrade items by fusing other items into them to add bonus effects. A homing pistol? A telescope sword? Maybe don’t make the telescope sword.

  • Grab everything. Grab items. Grab enemies. Grab friends.

  • Throw everything. Like the friend you just picked up! I’m sure they’ll appreciate it.

  • There’s traps. You can fall in them, if you want.

  • A weird sprinting mechanic that makes you run into walls by accident.

  • A cursed sword that makes boulders fall on you sometimes.

  • Other things, probably. We didn’t finish making the game yet.

Generals. Positional Warfare

Generals. Positional Warfare

You are a general. The war has begun, and your country expects only victory from you. The action takes place in the headquarters. Here are schematic images of battlefields. You place figures of your soldiers on the field and give them orders for the day. Test the strategist within yourself. Waiting for you:

  • Simultaneous moves - You don’t know your opponent’s intentions until you make a move. You will need to consider all the possibilities of the enemy before you give the final orders for the day. Only at night will you get a complete picture of what happened during the day. And you have to adapt to the changes.

  • Multiple battlefields at the same time - you must control the situation on all front lines. Develop the attack in all directions, or concentrate your forces on one-it’s up to you.

  • Addictive gameplay - you control a huge army. You will have to correctly allocate the reserve. Choose a convenient direction to attack, or an excellent position for a blind defense.

  • Various types of units - soldiers, engineers, tanks, artillery and aircraft. Each has its own distinctive features. And they also interact with each other in different ways.

  • Unique countries - Bluelands, Kingdom of Greendagar, Kredsanokia, Zoldania and Perputsk Republic. Each has its own specialization, landscape, and history.

Guide your country to victory in a turn-based strategy game Generals. Position Warfare.
