Super Dream Dasher

I think this game over-delivers on so many things: the movement, the cutscenes, the charm of the game, and so on. Looking forward to finishing the game up and leaving a more detailed review but this game deserves some love and eyes on it.

Knightczech: The beginning

Knightczech: The beginning

Knightczech is a game for those who are gluttons for punishment. The death counter and unforgiving world, this game has a Dark Souls feel with a puzzle twist. All created by solo 21 year old dev Fridolin Slehacka, this game offers a big challenge and great story for those who are up for it.

I personally was not great at this game and it is not my playstyle however the fact that I was still able to have an enjoyable experience speaks volumes to the dev. Thank you for the playthrough!

We have played Mad Ball on C64 Plus4 Emulator, and we both love it.

I came across your game and see some similarities, so I decided to download it and ask my husband to play with me.

We had fun together! I do the jumps and double jumps, and my husband do the steering.

Definitely a bonding good-co-op activity to do if you are looking for one. : )

But I don’t think we can save in the middle of the stage ^^i. We got to the stage that was similar to stage one, but after the one with cube blocks and the balancing beam.

ShapeShifter

ShapeShifter

It feels nostalgic to jump, swim, fight, dodge and collect coins and power ups - a true old-school platforming sensation. With that in mind, the visuals, sounds and physics-based platform movement are modern and slick.

Female protagonist in a world where the living beings are shapes, in a rescue mission for her kidnapped boyfriend.

Ling comes to the rescue of her kidnapped boyfriend all the way from their home in the pleasure island, through the jungles, volcano, haunted island, winter island and eventually - the daungan - where her boyfriend is kept locked.

Physics based platform movement that feels GREAT!

Featuring chayote-time jumps, split second jump memory, acceleration & deceleration, physics and momentum.

Each one of the 5 islands has an amazing artwork to unlock, 6 in total along with a game ending artwork.

that makes sense and closes the storyline beautifully.

It is a challenging game, but the art, the music, the experience of playing it makes it worthed :)

It is a very good game, I had a lot of fun playing it. It was challenging and that is what made it even more exciting.

The music was wonderful, and the story was intriguing. I do recommend to play this game if you like to be challenged.

El juego es muy bueno, me he divertido mucho jugandolo. Este juego si que te pone a prueba mientras que te relaja con la musica, y la historia es interesante, es bueno y simple a la vez. Recomiendo este juego a aquellos que les guste un buen desafio.

Not a bad game, beautiful visual style, pleasant music.

There is something here, it’s just not quite there. This review is just to say that while I enjoy the premise of the game there are some definite changes to be made to the game. These include making it so that when you reach the exit door you can’t be killed by the bricks above your head, changing the puzzle so it isn’t blind luck with what blocks you get, and making it so that there isn’t a life system because it makes the game repetitive if you have to keep trying for the same thing again and again. The most important one of these critiques is the door, you can’t win the level and then be killed because of an oversight. Overall it has potential, just needs to be worked on.

99 Fails

99 Fails

Journey through Zeebo’s surreal nightmare in this impossibly difficult to master casual, genre-bending precision platforming game with a rich, bizarre dreamworld. Traverse 11 dream layers in 9 iterations, each with their own gameplay mechanic, transforming Zeebo. Control Zeebo with one to three action buttons, depending on which mechanic you’re playing. Each mechanic and iteration will make an appeal to your sense of timing, rhythm, and anger management skills. Unlock more and more entries in the dream journal and analyze them in a game-wide puzzle to finally find the source of Zeebo’s torture.

THE FEATURES

  • Easy to play. So easy, your grandparents can play. But they won’t master it. By the way, neither will you.

  • Eleven different dream layers, mechanics and morphs, nine dream iterations each. That’s right, that makes 99 levels.

  • Each dream has 3 modes: 99 Pillars for anyone. 666 Pillars for the maniacs. Endless pillars for the masochists.

  • Countless bizarre, trippy and surreal creations, events and unforgettable characters.

  • Procedurally generated levels, including paths, events and enemies, no playthrough is the same.

  • Adaptive audio and music that evolves along with you as you traverse dreams, in full stereo.

  • Explore Zeebo’s bedroom in old-school PC point ‘n click style to learn more about his life and issues.

  • Perform dream analysis within a unique elaborate puzzle mechanic in the dream journal to figure out what’s fueling his nightmare.

  • What more could you possibly want? More fails? That can be arranged.

NEEBOTA - NOOBOTA

Zeebo’s world is called Neebota. Neebota is an alternative universe to ours. Humans don’t exist there, but portals do open up and items and beings sometimes slip through. There are many legends about such events and Zeebo and his friends love going to abandoned places, forests to look for portals and things from earth. Noobota, on the oher hand, is the dreamworld of any Neebotian. And it’s Zeebo’s Noobota you have to conquer in 99 Fails!

THE COGNIZOIDS

Cognizoids are entities in Noobota. They represent everything from abstract concepts like death, love, to particular objects or persons from Zeebo’s real world, Neebota. They can be a person Zeebo knows, or represent his fears or joy. Which one represents what is for you to figure out!

THE UNFAIRY

You’ve heard of fairies. But have you heard of The Unfairy? Whatever she is, she doesn’t always mean well. And her transformation is a bizarre, gruesome sight to behold.

NEEBOTA’S REVENGE

When real life is poking you in your dream lobe.

UCHO

Musical rainbow-peeing ear. Sounds like random drizzle on a piano.

LARTUM THE GIANT

The not-so-gentle giant of optical deception, a dreamlord that will give you vertigo and toy with your playthrough.

BED OF REBIRTH

That feeling when your clone shows up pregnant with a hatched egg and mature chicken inside. Which is…an entirely new sort of feeling.

HEKKE & HEKKEDERIAN

Last, but certainly not least: Hekke! Zeebo’s squiddly, cuddly jelly pet who follows him everywhere, even into his dreams. Though in his dreams, he’s not quite as cuddly…in fact, what is up with that split tongue? Is that mom and dad?

Bunny Hop

Bunny Hop

At first the game feels very frustrating and the controls are hard but after a couple of minutes you get the hang of it and the fun begins. I really love the design of the main character and even the stages fit in so well with the music. It is like a cute and easy version of jump king. So if you like jump king you should definitely check out this amazing game :)

10/10 Hops

Real player with 9.6 hrs in game

Definitively on the easier side of the getting over it like, it is still really fun. An interesting take on the jump king mechanics, where you have a long jump, and a high jump and need to use a mix of both. Some puzzle and moving block which make it different also

Map isn’t really punishing but i liked it. Wish there was more freudian game like this

If you have a hard time with the puzzle click the spoiler
