Through The Frame
Race through the frames and reach the finish line as quickly as possible to get the highest score and beat the other players!
In Through The Frame, players move around with the help of a grappling hook. In front of them is a level made up of frames that guide them to the end.
During the Steam festival, 4 levels will be available!
-
A game created for the “cores” and “hardcore” gamers of the genre.
-
A platformer that allows players to focus solely on the goal and the perfection of the mechanics through a calm, heavy and abstract universe.
-
The learning curve of the players very visible and appreciable despite a complex grappling mechanic.

Super High Ball: Pinball Platformer
I never knew I needed a genre fusion of Pinball and Platformer until I played this game. Executed brilliantly, Super High Ball gives the player an amazing sense of control through each level and provides a great challenge (diamond rankings) on top of fun and unique gameplay.

This game is fantastic. It’s definitely not a typical precision platformer and doesn’t feel like one, but is more… adventure pinball for speedrunners? Something along those lines. Regardless, it’s fantastic. If you like precision games at all, get this–it’s worth full price.

Kid Hallow
Like other Hamumu games, Kid Hallow takes a strong core idea (swapping costumes for different abilities) and provides a unique style and complexity that allows for endless variation. Kid Hallow has a simple premise, but it packs in a heap of twists and quirks that elevate it beyond a standard platformer. The levels range from quick and easy to insanely challenging, and the variety between each one keeps you on your toes. Highly recommended if you like arcade style, rapid-fire platforming filled with puzzles, action, bullet dodging, and bodzhas.

Even better than it was when it first came out in 2008 but this includes all the DLC packs for a LOT cheaper!
Lots of hours of game-play with more levels being created all the time!
Hamumu always puts out great games and I’m still playing them 20 years later!

Afterthought
How I became a Speedrunner
When I first saw this game, I thought it would be too hard for someone like me. But the game mechanics are very intuitive and you can actually play the game quite easily, if you know platformers in general. It comes with a lot of beautiful artworks and an outstanding soundtrack, which I enjoyed a lot, but I think those things are not even the best parts about Afterthought.
What makes this game special is the unique gameplay. If you want to dive deep into the mechanics, you can basically invest infinite time into the game and pull off the craziest stunts! God, it just feels so rewarding when you finally get that S time. You can even beat the developer ghosts, if you want to embarrass them. And there are a lot of bonus objectives and Skins for all the completionists out there. Although it does not seem like it, almost everything in the game is quite achieveable even for Normies like me. Except for the online highscores…

Some of the best designed and most fun movement I have seen in a platformer ever! :o

Spinny’s Journey
Not sure how to explain but you are a stick that spins. You have to try not to touch the edges of the maze as quick as possible. Seems kind of unique to me, enjoyable in a frustrating kind of way.

Overall, I quite enjoyed this game as one of the first true homages to Kururin around. The music and visuals are quite good on the whole, and I found the level design to be nice as well.
However, I think the game is held back by some really odd gameplay issues that might not even matter to most players. For example, as I got into the later levels I noticed how hard it became to precisely move the ship since there’s this odd deadzone on the analog stick (I was playing with a DS4) that doesn’t read your inputs until the stick is moved about halfway from neutral.
