Betrayer: Curse of the Spine

Okay, let me start out by saying that i actually REALLY LIKE this game. I played through the demo multiple times since hearing about it a couple of months ago, and was excited when it came out 3 days ago and have been playing it as much as i can since. But with all of that being said…this game definitely has some bugs/issues & and is SO CLOSE to being absolutely great…that i hate having anything negative to say about it in this “review” for it.

First things first: PLAY THE DEMO (which is actually pretty long) BEFORE BUYING THIS GAME.

Love this game. Does a great job of easing you into a chaotic bullet hell. The music makes it feel that much more intense which puts a unique and needed flare to the genre. Challenging, but rewarding!

At first I thought “hmm, this is pretty easy!” - no, it gets harder. Sound track is on point, too!

Taivas

Taivas

Lucky me gets to write the first review of Taivas, and it’s a dubious honour.

Taivas is an abandoned Early Access 2D retro pixel platformer/asset flip. It was created by flipping assets and a 2D platformer template from the godawful IFAction game construction kit. No professional effort was made in terms of game development, copying a template/using a game construction kit requires no talent, and unsurprisingly produces products that have little to no value as games, especially when compared to the work of professional developers who create genuine products for gamers.
