Afterthought
How I became a Speedrunner
When I first saw this game, I thought it would be too hard for someone like me. But the game mechanics are very intuitive and you can actually play the game quite easily, if you know platformers in general. It comes with a lot of beautiful artworks and an outstanding soundtrack, which I enjoyed a lot, but I think those things are not even the best parts about Afterthought.
What makes this game special is the unique gameplay. If you want to dive deep into the mechanics, you can basically invest infinite time into the game and pull off the craziest stunts! God, it just feels so rewarding when you finally get that S time. You can even beat the developer ghosts, if you want to embarrass them. And there are a lot of bonus objectives and Skins for all the completionists out there. Although it does not seem like it, almost everything in the game is quite achieveable even for Normies like me. Except for the online highscores…

Amberial Dreams
In the long gone days of 2007, Amberial landed on the indie Flash gaming scene, and over the course of 4 games accumulated over 2 million players! 15 years later, Amberial Dreams brings the series back with a bang, boasting a brand-new engine, more contraptions than ever before, but the same basic premise: only two buttons to move, no jumping allowed.
The Avatar can only roll left and right, but that does not mean it can’t make impressive feats of traversal! Every surface in the world reacts to you and helps you gain momentum. You can get anywhere you want, as long as you don’t stop rolling.
Amberial Dreams features beautiful and diverse environments where its platforming action unfolds. From bright bubblegum skies to the deepest pits in which you are the only light source, all the way to biomes in which all color has been extinguished.

Great 3D platformer and an instant buy for anyone who considers themselves a fan of the original Crash Bandicoot or wants a serious challenge.
Ive played through every level there is so far and especially the later levels are extremly well made and a lot of fun. Despite it being difficult it all feels fair and rarely cheap.
The soundtrack (at least to me) is hit and miss, you have bangers like Pearl that sound incredible but you also have other levels where i feel like it lacks a lot of energy and or repeats too fast.

Rift Runner
As of now, I cannot recommend this game. I did rather enjoy playing it though. I love speedrunning in general, as well as platformers, so this is my type of game. I played through the first world trying to get three stars on the maps, but most of them I could only get two. There are gameplay mechanics that speed you up which arent explained at all, but I think it involves timing the jumps either at the end of a slide or at the end of a platform. I am not sure exactly. I like that there is no tutorial, but an option to read about the gameplay mechanics would be cool. Anyway, after I beat the first world I made a few maps into the second and gave up after a few more attempts. When I went back to the menu it became unresponsive to my inputs. Both gamepad, and keyboard. I tried the game again later after closing it and playing some other games, and everything is still unresponsive on the level select screen. The only thing that works is mousing to the back button. Nothing else. There are also some weird graphical bugs, where the level names are still overlayed on the main menu screen after backing out of the level select screen. I was playing on gamepad when this bug happened. I really enjoyed what I did play of the game, and when this gets fixed I will change it to recommended! I am using an AMD R9 380x gpu. and intel i5 4590k cpu.

Rocket Shipment
It’s a good game which I’m happy to have bought.
It’s all about mastering the physics of your spaceship while also managing the momentum + angular velocity of objects that you’re tasked with towing to a designated area. Sounds simple, and it is, but there’s a lot of fun in getting good at the mechanics and trying to beat levels with the shortest time / highest score / without dying. By default, though, you get 5 lives per level which makes it pretty reasonable to complete everything if your goal is to get through the game.

Rocket Shipment is relatively simple, and yet pleasantly addicting. I’ve also not seen any other games quite like it on Steam.
The goal is to fly your ship around inside of a cavernous asteroid and move cargo to a landing zone. Sometimes you have to move multiple cargo, each to a specific destination indicated by the color of the cargo and the flags around the landing zones. You start by navigating your ship close to a cargo container, and when you are close enough the container turns green to indicate that you can grab it by deploying your cable. They you must then tow the cargo to its destination. After you drop the cargo on the landing zone (and the cargo is confirmed to be “delivered”), you must land your ship on the grey landing zone.

STRAYLIGHT
The heart of this game is its locomotion. It is intuitive in the beginning, yet has some intricacies you can learn to use later in the game. I am somewhat sensitive to other types of VR movement, but this one did not affect me at all. Would be a good introductory game to folks new to VR.
I quite enjoy the aesthetic of the game. You do feel quite alone and you can lose yourself in the visuals and music while casually hopping around the orbs. The level design is nice in that you can either slowly navigate while enjoying the sites, or try to rocket through it as fast as possible, if that’s your thing.

Full disclosure: I know one of the devs (so my expectations were pretty low… :P j/k), and I probably wouldn’t have picked it up otherwise, but MAN am I glad I did!
This game is super fun! Launching myself at top speed through the levels and whipping around turns is exhilarating, and despite the crazy acceleration I never once felt motion sick.
While it might seem a little short at the moment if you’re just trying to get to the end of each level, going back to collect all the cubes is a fun challenge, and trying to reach the top of the leaderboard on each level has eaten up more of my time than I care to admit. Mastering the movement and physics is rewarding and finding routes and shortcuts through each level really made me feel clever.

The Colorful Creature
Really good game, been here for awhile and can say this is a banger. If you like challenging games I honestly think this is a really good choice, but its your option!

an amazing game to be honest, i really like its difficulty, and the concept by itself where you have to go on certain colors to advance, i’d highly reccomend this game if you like platformers, truly amazing imo

Vectromirror™
The game is similar to Vectromirror 0. Although in early access, as of writing, the 3 levels are extremely fun to play. It is a bit harder than Vectromirror 0, so be prepared focus! Overall a really fun game, and definitely worth the cost.

An incredible game. I’ve never played a game with better physics or game mechanics. The graphics are very unusual but unique. I can’t think of any flaws.

Goat’s Tale
Simple, yet fun! This reminds me a lot of those platformers that you would play on sites like Newgrounds. You know, the ones that make you want to rip your hair out from frustration, and yet you always want to go back to play them. Anyway, that’s a compliment to this game :) Playing this makes me feel very nostalgic and cosy, definite recommend!

Phenomenal game, less bugs than in cyberpunk. I don’t think that there is any better game in precision platformer category 3
