Super High Ball: Pinball Platformer

Super High Ball: Pinball Platformer

I never knew I needed a genre fusion of Pinball and Platformer until I played this game. Executed brilliantly, Super High Ball gives the player an amazing sense of control through each level and provides a great challenge (diamond rankings) on top of fun and unique gameplay.

This game is fantastic. It’s definitely not a typical precision platformer and doesn’t feel like one, but is more… adventure pinball for speedrunners? Something along those lines. Regardless, it’s fantastic. If you like precision games at all, get this–it’s worth full price.

Bubble Breaking

Bubble Breaking

Bubble Breaking is an action arcade game. Players can use mouse or gamepad to pop bubbles. The bubbles come in different sizes (depths) and they rise at different speeds. When bubbles are popped points are scored. The smaller, faster bubbles score more points than the bigger, slower bubbles. There is also an accuracy multiplier. Each successive popped bubble increases the multiplier to a max of 10x the base point value. If the player misses a bubble, whether by mouse or keyboard, the multiplier is resets back to 1x. Beware of the ‘stink’ bubbles! If you accidently pop one of them your score will be dragged down with the fishes.

Cyber Dodge

Cyber Dodge

A relaxing precision platformer that includes some 80’s style synth music. The design is simplistic but it looks cool with the different neon colors. The last level is probably where I spent most of the time playing this game, had to lose like 500 times to beat it.

For the amount of levels I would say the full price is a little too high, you can get games with much more gameplay content for 5€. On sale, it is worth it though. I would recommend getting it full price if dev decides to add more levels and maybe achievements too.

My amazing experiences was fun and cannot be described in words. Challenging at times but love see option where we could change the ball to use for cosmetic purposes. Has Tron feel and makes you think as dodge your way through simple to challenging levels. Thank you NKVN Games opportunity to demonstrate their game.

Dots!

I wandered on Steam for a long time in search of a relaxing game with beautiful music, and came across this miracle

There are more than 1000 levels in it, I can’t even imagine how much time I will spend on it, oh god

The game is much more interesting and difficult than you think, so be sure to play it

especially at this price

and I went, continue to play, additional review if I survive

Hello everyone, surfing the internet looking for a game. I came across Dots! The cover of this game immediately attracted my attention, going into the review of the game, I saw a very interesting picture in the form of the same type of game, but still decided to buy it. As soon as I entered the game, I immediately liked the design of the game. After the first 10 levels of the game, I couldn’t get away from it. I forgot about all the problems and just sat enjoying the gameplay. The game is very relaxing and addictive, and you want to play again and again. The game has more than 1000 levels, the game is not as easy as it seems at first glance. For its price, it’s just a cannon!

In the vast region of Tiba, a dense and very old forest shelters the city of Tecnopia, home of a technology created to coexist in symbiosis with nature, and of people that are not unanimous when it comes to preserving this coexistence. Amid the growing tension, Ventree, a powerful corporation with global prestige, entered the region to explore the Ancestral Energy, a long forgotten natural resource, and retrieve a device that vanished from their head office at any cost. Meanwhile, a young Tori kept on with the common life he always had – until finding this device, having it accidentally integrated into his body and becoming the target of a conflict much greater than he could imagine.

  • Adventure in 2D: venture off the region of Tiba while exploring sceneries, dodging dangerous obstacles and jumping from one platform to another in a stylish pixel art aesthetic.

  • 21 unique levels: each with their own atmosphere, obstacles and secrets.

4 special abilities: unfold the potential of your powers by finding the sources of ancestral energy.

  • **4 special abilities:**unfold the potential of your powers by finding the sources of ancestral energy.

  • Great final challenges: at the end of each area, challenges beyond your conventional bosses. Expect the unexpectable!

  • More mechanics, less controls: enjoy a fun experience at the touch of few keys.

  • Dynamic soundtrack: keep up with the evolution of your journey through the immersive music that evolves with you.

In similar vein to games like Super Hexagon, 140, Gauge and Duet, oO is a minimalistic game with simple objectives and simple controls - on the surface. But while things may look easy enough at first glance, the challenge comes in mastering the sparse mechanics you are given to get past whatever sadistic obstacles oO’s glowing, circular world cares to throw in your direction.

With ever more complex patterns to overcome and a faster and faster rate of play, the simple “push space to flip” mechanic might only be one button but will eventually build to challenge even the fastest of reflexes. You will die again, and again, and again

! and again, and again, and again, and again, and again; but unlike some other punishing titles of similar ilk, the deaths here don’t tend to feel cheap. You’ll always know why you died, and what you need to do to avoid death next time.

Too frustrating to be much fun. I do like the deceptively-simple concept and the wobbly-screen mode you can unlock each time you clear a level… but the overall charm wears off very quickly. It doesn’t take long for things to start to feel mindless, and this is not the kind of game where mindless gameplay will get you anywhere.

I’m surprised at the glowing reviews this game has gotten. (And of course anyone who doesn’t recommend the game gets slammed with downvotes, I’m sure I’ll be no different.) Scrolling through the positive reviews, hardly any of the users seem to have played for more than a couple hours - probably because the ragequit is strong with this one; I imagine many of these people played it once and haven’t touched it since - so again, it’s tough to understand the positive feedback. For the novelty, sure. Everything else… hm.
