GAMEPLAY
In OVERSTARS, precise movements are key. Mess up a turn? Hit a wall? Fail to dodge an obstacle? Back to the beginning of the map for you. Move your ship UP & DOWN and turn it LEFT and RIGHT with WASD.

Great 3D platformer and an instant buy for anyone who considers themselves a fan of the original Crash Bandicoot or wants a serious challenge.
Ive played through every level there is so far and especially the later levels are extremly well made and a lot of fun. Despite it being difficult it all feels fair and rarely cheap.
The soundtrack (at least to me) is hit and miss, you have bangers like Pearl that sound incredible but you also have other levels where i feel like it lacks a lot of energy and or repeats too fast.

Very frustrating yet so addicting. Despite how annoying it can get, it makes you keep getting back up to try to get further than before. xD Finally clearing a stage feels so good!
Before buying, I did not expect it to be this difficult as it looked like a short simple game. Boy was I wrong… You start with a fairly easy stage, and then you get hit with stage 2. Which was difficult at the time but after I cleared it and went to stage 4, stage 2 became a piece of cake.
To clear all the stages, it will probably take several hours tbh. I may not even be able to clear the last stage, seeing how I could not even get past the first portion. Going to take a lot of practice for sure which makes me feel excited and not at the same time lol.

LOST EGG
Really fun game. I love platformers and this gave me such a refreshing challenge in gameplay. I would highly recommend if you want a challenging platformer that’s also really chill : )

Two dollars gave me two hours of frustrating “punch the table” fun. There are only 5 levels and the replay value is none. Do yourself a favor (at the time of writing) pause the game and spam jump to do super jumps. Have fun destroying the game. That alone is worth two dollars for me. If you were expecting more…then that might be your fault.

Lucent Bounds
As another reviewer mentioned, make sure to read the controls in the menus. There’s was one super useful jump that without knowing it you would struggle very early on.
Reminds me of Refunct (which you should check out) with a splash of Thomas Was Alone and a drop of Mirror’s Edge (one of my favourite games of all time).
Cool concept. Would love to see what the dev could do with a more intricate world or simply just expanded on the idea for the game.

This game is an extremely beautiful 2D platformer where your character never stops running. All of the levels feel very tightly designed and fun, a lot of them getting very challenging. There’s a neat time slowing mechanic where you can better time your jumps by whenever you hold down a button (I think left trigger on a controller) the game will slow down until you stop holding the button. This is a really neat idea, I enjoy using the time slowing mechanic to better execute the harder jumps. I’ll be honest, I’m not a huge fan of your character not being able to stop running, it just isn’t really my type of thing in a game, but I won’t deny the quality of this game. I’m about a quarter of the way through this game, it’s pretty short, but that’s probably a good thing considering how simple the concept is. I would recommend this game if it seems interesting to you :3
