Dracula Frames
It’s a really good sliding puzzle that in addition to solving the puzzle, you can also explore the scenarios to find hidden items. The pictures are beatiful!

Dracula Frames: Review
I showed up for the vampire and stayed for the puzzles. Bram Stoker would approve. He might even be stoked cough Moving on… ^, ,^
Dracula Frames was quite enjoyable, relaxing even. Well, except for when I did fairly poorly on a puzzle or two. Then I had to check my frustration. It was my own blunders, the puzzles just take a little patience and perseverance.
The art was wonderful, and the game is satisfying to complete. I did finish all 9 achievements. But I confess that the secret would have eluded me without help from the community guide. Shout out to Jamkolero. I did some of it on my own but I sincerely doubt I would have completed all the steps without help. You can wrap up the game in under 2 hours if you do not run into too much trouble with the slide puzzles. There are some 3x3 and 4x3 puzzles, I believe the largest is about 5x4.

Red Embrace: Mezzanine
Red Embrace: Mezzanine is a short (~1 hour or even less) free visual novel with point-&click elements, 2 endings rewarded with 2 achs. Unfortunately, for now the game has limited features, so those achs won’t appear on steam profile((
I’m sure even if someone didn’t play Red Embrace or Red Embrace: Hollywood the game will be interesting enough. I have almost nothing to complain about: visuals are great, music is perfect to set that gloomy mood, the writing is so potent dragging you deep into that dark atmosphere. That’s really amazing how that short story, maybe not even the whole story but some kind of prologue for the future game, can awake such powerful emotions. Really impressive!

As usual, fine. As usual, there is a light sadness after passing the game. And not only because the story itself is sad, because it concerns loneliness, loss and hopelessness, but because it shows us what we dream about at some point. We all probably dreamed that on some day someone (and preferably some handsome guy) would offer us to change our lives. But this did not happen.
It’s very nice that the story echoes Red Embrace: Hollywood. I am very glad that I somehow found Argent Games.

BloodNet
Don’t mind the hours spent in the game. After refunding it, I ended up buying it on GOG to give it another try.
I first want to preface this review by saying I went in totally blind. I have no nostalgia attached to it, and I come from a background of loving point-and-clicks. I also seek out any game of the cyberpunk genre I can get my hands on.
That said, I wanted to like this game, but it felt impossible to. I saw it and I thought it was some kind of miracle I hadn’t played it already. Even its subtitle “The Cyberpunk Vampire Game” seemed perfect (as well as amazingly corny) to me. The screenshots made it look fantastic in that old time-y gritty moody kind of way. I felt like whatever its cons were, I wouldn’t let it keep me from enjoying a game that looked like I would love. But despite playing for long enough to get a handle on it, it still didn’t work for me.

I’ll start just by saying that it is my favourite adventure (although it is much more) game. Bloodnet mixes elements of adventure and rpg. Among solving puzzles you command your small squad of friends and mercenaries in fights. There’s a lot of character statistics influencing combat, decking (travelling through cyberspace), crafting etc… Bloodnet tells a story of Ransom Stark, who is trying to lift a curse of vampirism. It is dark, mature and really sucks in. Ransom will meet a lot of interesting and well written characters. While combat sequences are not of best quality, great atmosphere makes up for it. Important element of Bloodnet is decking. Improving cyberdeck will help to experience it. It is not a point and click game (you won’t make a helicopter combining shoelaces and washing machine). Puzzles are interesting and logical. It is more of unraveling the story. If you like cyberpunk it is a must have. If you like vampires it is a must have.

A Vampyre Story
A starting note that the play time does not reflect game length or completion time as I often leave games running whilst off doing other things.
A Vampyre Story is a fun point and click game that whilst not breaking any moulds of the genre it’s characters and dialogue I thought were witty and memorable and had me laughing out loud a fair few times. It also looks good, but the animations can sometimes ‘stick’ shall we say, although this is not a big issue.
Any fans of P&C’s will not be diasapointed in what this has to offer, although not the most challenging game out there, the puzzles aren’t ludicrously obscure as they can be in some other titles and range from simple to medium difficulty.

I picked this game up when it first came out on disc and I regretted never finishing it. I was thrilled that it showed up on Steam and I’m very happy my memories of the game weren’t just nostalgia, it’s very fun and polished. The tone and puzzles are reminiscent of classic LucasArts games and the art is top notch, even by today’s cartoon game standards.
Some have not liked the voice of Mona, the main protagonist. It is high pitched and I can see how it could annoy folks but I thought it fit and didn’t mind.

Dracula: Love Kills
Very good game.
[As usual, note that my times are always long since I frequently leave games running when other things come up.]
The HO scenes are always appropriate to the location with a good mix of easier and harder to find objects.
Count Dracula and Igor are entertaining, but never so far over the top as to be annoying.
The main story is the usual series of finding things to get you to the next room (or part of the game) etc., but it’s nicely put together and kept me interested.
The puzzles were plentiful and frequently challenging. There was a good assortment of different types of puzzles.

For those who played Dracula: Origin - this game is quite different, more of the cookie-cutter HO/puzzle/adventure kind, albeit with special abilities and two different endings based on your decisions, which makes it distinctive in this genre. It also has 2D painted art instead of the previous episode’s 3D.
Pros:
-
Beautiful graphics, especially some HO scenes and the character art
-
The UI is very modern
-
Atmospheric and catchy music
-
The puzzles of the first half of the game are quite easy

Enjoyable point and click adventure game. Puzzles were of a medium challenge, the main voice actor was convincing of the part, and the atmosphere/levels was fitting for vampire lore. I appreciated how the puzzles reflected the theme of the game and weren’t stand alone or unrelated like many other games. For example, you had to figure out the demons from normal animals or puzzles relating to dark arts. The music was good, but it got a little repetitive if you’re in an area too long.

Dracula Origin for me presented an interesting and enjoyable story in settings that varied greatly and where both interesting to explore and well designed. The puzzels presented within Dracula vary in difficulty and complexity and the style of them also changes depending on the location you are in, this is a nice touch and keeps the game moving and engaging for the around 2 - 3 hours you are in a certain area. The story within the game follows a rather cliche plot, and ends abruptly however its enough to keep you going, however for an adventure game where story is usually a mian factor it is a bit of a let down. The sound design is great, with different background music playing in different areas and ambient noise creating a creepy atmosphere which suits the overall theme of the game.

Dracula 3: The Path of the Dragon
While this game started off promising as far as the look goes, I had a very hard time playing it. These games were known for being puzzle games. Well, they’ve removed the puzzles from this version. That means you’re going along playing when suddenly you hit a snag because you have a feeling you’re supposed to do something to progress. Except the thing you’re supposed to do has been removed or - worse - half removed. I spent this entire game bumbling through almost-puzzles that made no sense. You better hope you don’t get stuck on a “puzzle” because any walkthrough you find will be useless, since the “puzzle” you’re working on will be some ramshackle version of the one from the full game.

Dracula 3 fails in the excess. In the first cutscene we can see that the context is quite different from the other 2 games. We leave the nucleus of Jonathan and move into a context where the Catholic Church wants to investigate a possible canonization in a village in Transylvania, Romania. This shift from a romantic and adventure story in the first 2 games to an investigation of the supernatural seemed to be a good change for the series. The lore that is created around this new chapter is very interesting, but that is where the game fails in excess. There are endless dialogues and texts. The problem is not having too much of it, the problem is to have only this. Few puzzles, few parts of action, you are always stuck in a dialogue or pages and pages of readings. If these parts were diluted into interesting actions and puzzles, this would certainly be a great story, unfortunately a failure in excess. And jeez! It is annoying how many times the priest says “Hi, my name is father Moriane”.

Dracula 4 and 5 - Special Steam Edition
Lol so I played all 5 games pretty well back-to-back with my friend and 4 & 5 were by far had better graphics, and was more fun. I really did enjoy these two games. I really liked how it kind of brought up the characters from the past games that you were, and just made everything make more sense. I guess that’s to be expected though like most things that come to an end. There were a handful of things I had to look up tutorials for, but I feel like we had to refer to the tutorials far less this time than the games before. The ending left us questioning things, because it seemed as though one of the endings was open-ended, like we could expect another game to be made, which had me excited, just to find out the game creator isn’t working on anymore Dracula games and isn’t even advertising the Dracula games on their website. I suppose Syberia was there better game so they focus on it. So these 5 games were entertaining, and I’m glad I played them all. I am now going to go look for more Dracula and werewolf games X’D peace!

Old-school point & click adventure (it’s one story told over parts 4+5). Not bad, but lacks content and atmosphere.
Engine is of the type that allows free 360° camera panning, but no real-time movement, so you hop between fixed camera positions. Graphics are beautiful, but many scenes appear barren and empty (lack of 3D assets), and the total number of game locations is also small.
Sound and voice acting are decent. BTW, you can skip spoken lines, but only by clicking on the box that displays them.

Dracula 2: The Last Sanctuary
Unfortunatly I bought the trilogy some time ago-thats right all three dracula games and I really am disapointed that I ever did. I played the first game and half way through a game stopping bug appeared which I could not fix no matter what. Then I thought ok I will just go onto the second one and barely even started it and another game breaking bug this time on the Last Sanctuary I cant get close enough to a tree so that I can interact with it to get an oil can that is right near it. A simple thing really but without the oil can the game is unable to progress. So I am very disapointed and flustered that I let myself but these old classic games and I have looked for unofficial patches to try to correct the problem but no dice none. Well I will think twice the next time old games come on sale because they can be cheap as borsht but if they are unplayable whats the point Robert A Ens

I also had the original on CD. In this Steam version, it’s true that there are few less puzzles and some cut scenes were removed. It’s as if it was streamlined for a more fluid progression through the game. Instead of having to paint the screen with your mouse cursor to find an interactive object, you will be able to see them when you are near it. You’ll be looking through your inventory to try to figure out what you need to use or combine. The available directions you can move to, have the arrows visible. This game is not exactly a walk-in-the-park, you may find yourself backtracking to find what you missed. I was stumped, plenty of times. Looks like it took me just under eight hours, over several days, to complete it. This is really, not a bad point and click game that was originally published/released 20 years ago. Besides, not everyone has seen the original PC version and no need to compare. It’s certainly playable. I finished the first and second games in this Dracula series (there are five). Time to to install #3.
