I like idle games . . . a lot. Not sure why, but I play them almost exclusively. This is the 4th title I’ve played from this dev. This is his 6th game in about 11 months that he’s published on Steam, plus a few paid DLCs. Don’t know how many other games he’s published on other platforms.

From his other games, he seems to copy most of the core mechanics from one game to the next, along with some style aspects of the UI. This game has more refined graphics than the previous 8 bit graphics. I don’t mind 8 bit games at all and I’m not sure whether he made these assets himself or got them from an asset pack. Likely a mix of both. It’s a simple, grindy idle game with a built in auto-idle feature (buggy) that auto fights for you over night, if the game runs over night, so you don’t need to set up an auto clicker or anything. There’s no prestige/reset mechanic, but you increase the difficulty and rewards by fighting through all the mobs in each area at level 1, then when you beat the boss at the end, you can increase the mob difficulty and keep doing loops, increasing the difficulty as you go.

Pros:

  • Cute character sprites.

  • Decent music.

  • Small download.

  • Active developer.

Cons:

  • Sprites and texts are all different resolutions/sizes that don’t mix well. The dev needs to gain a better understanding of pixels, resolutions, and why stretching pixel art is a bad thing.

  • The GUI style makes it impossible to understand which numbers are prices and which numbers are how much you have on hand. The GUI style also does not do a good job of graying out or recoloring controls when you cannot afford things. The buttons at least have a hover-color, which is an improvement from the dev’s previous games.

Game’s fun. Finding a broken build and setting up a macro to see how far you can get in the endless mode is genuinely a thing me and a couple friends share. My record is wave 1,427. What’s yours?

4 ability but there is no reason to use scorch when enemy comes in 3 (better use aoe) and fireball can get lifesteal upgrade.

Basically endless mode is making the wizard as beefy as possible with HP and magic shield power up. Then you slowly aoe the monster to death. Because of this buying starting wave is more penalty than bonus. You lose the chance to spawn random talent upgrade by skipping those wave.

edit = endless more is literally endless. The deeper you go means the more power up you would have. Magic shield power up multiplicative with health power up. After certain point magic shield would outscale enemy attack by long shot (enemy stats is linear).

This game reminds me of playing Fire Emblem Sacred Stones on Game Boy Advance!!!

I love the art style. I like how the items actually matter a lot. I like that the plot didn’t take itself too seriously, which made it fun. My favorite level was actually the final level, it was a unique mechanic and a challenge.

This is a great tactics game that only took me a few hours to beat!

Didn’t really know what to expect when playing this game….. but honestly found myself getting wrapped up in it. Damn near 3 hours out of nowhere and very rewarding item progression. I like the freedom of character builds as you aren’t hard-lined to one play style for each class of character. Pretty noteworthy for an Indie title. If I didn’t have to work tomorrow I would have kept going.

Challenge 10/10

Story 8/10

Gameplay 8/10

Bang for your buck 11/10

In my personal opinion, I should get an hour of enjoyable play for each dollar I spent. So far I’m on track for more than that and I’m only halfway through. Just gotta keep in mind this is and Indie title and only has a single developer. Show some support and who knows?

Possibly one of the most confusing card games in the world with no tutorial, there’s no music, and you have to make an account with the game.

Interface very confusing, cards very confusing, but the cards looks cool. They’ve got a lot of work to do still :)

MultiDimensional 4-in-a-row

MultiDimensional 4-in-a-row

In one sentence, this game is: “simple, yet fun”.

Game Idea: Connect Four has always been one of my go-to and favorite simple strategy games. While I did wonder how it would be to play a larger version, I never imagined playing in 3D, let alone 4D, 5D, and 6D. Let me tell you, it was a great idea.

UI/Controls: While the UI is quite basic, it works well and does not clutter the screen. The controls are done using solely the mouse, which is something I like.

Gameplay: There are dozens of different ways to play the game. Multiple players or just two. Fastpaced or slowpaced. Long games or short. My personal favorite is playing 3D with 5-in-row and 5 seconds turn timer. It’s hectic, crazy, and stressful (in a good way) and is literally so much fun.

Fun TD game, very basic and short but fun. If you are bored one day and you are craving some TD action, this gmae shouId do the trick. I wish there were more missions or some sort of game+ for replayability but still a thumbsup. Cheers!

#### What kind of game is this?

This is a zombie simulation of the end of the environment to survive the game.

The background of the game is one year after the zombie outbreak.

Players will play three different roles, searching for supplies in an abandoned hospital building to survive.

Each character has its own strengths and weaknesses, which will affect their chances of survival.

The materials in the game are displayed in the form of cards, which are mainly divided into weapons and consumables.

When fighting, random moves will be generated according to the characteristics of weapons to deal with the enemy. Weapons are durable, remember to maximize the use of weapons unique moves to win.

Players will lose their health, physical strength and spirit after fighting, moving and strengthening the room for rest.

After fighting in an empty room, remember to supplement your own state, otherwise the depressed state will bring serious negative buffs.

Finally, in addition to zombies, there may be a small number of survivors in abandoned hospitals.

They will be your companions or… Powerful and terrible enemies.

**(developer’s Note 1: because the game mechanism is slightly complicated, I hope you can open the second column of the main menu interface “survivor log” before playing, in which you will record the detailed game playing methods.)

(developer’s Note 2: This is the first game developed by the author. We plan to upgrade this game to a multiplayer game in the future. Please include the existing shortcomings. We will continue to polish the game according to the comments and suggestions in the future.)

(developer note 3: game communication QQ group: 171849189)

(developer note 4: the game will be unpacked and remade on the day of release, and it is expected to be completed within 2 to 3 months. The playing method will be greatly changed. If you like the current version, after the new version goes online, you can send me a private message in QQ group or email to get the original version. I got surprised that this game is actually free, it is really nice and the soundtrack is really awesome!

got almost 2 hours in but I’m still on the 2nd tier enemies, got a few new cards, will definitely continue to play it!

You should definitely try it, it’s free and is a really good game!

(At this time this was written) This game has several problems -easily fixed- that make it… frustrating to play. It’s a simple Hearthstone-esque card game where you win battles to purchase cards, and destroy cards to improve other ones.

First of all, this game doesn’t have a tutorial. The player is forced to fumble through the menu and eventually into the first fight. There you have slightly helpful, if a bit hard to see UI that gives you buttons to press. While there is a list of “hints”, they’re too cumbersome and time consuming to substitute an actual tutorial.
