Relic Guardians: Complete
[Pay$-to-Play] I’ve gotten this game while its on sale, and for the price, its definitely worth it!
This is a point & click game, where you use your mouse only to interact,
You get to choose to attack or defence or use your special (requires attacking 2 times successfully) per turn; as you play more, you will have a strategy on what to use
I like the pixel graphics & the story plot of saving earth from some cow grunts/commander :P
I’ve also like the sound effects, really sets the mood!
At the time of writing i’ve only played the story mode and have completed it, so I would say it takes 1.5 Hours to complete the story mode

Dungeon Delver
Game’s fun. Finding a broken build and setting up a macro to see how far you can get in the endless mode is genuinely a thing me and a couple friends share. My record is wave 1,427. What’s yours?

4 ability but there is no reason to use scorch when enemy comes in 3 (better use aoe) and fireball can get lifesteal upgrade.
Basically endless mode is making the wizard as beefy as possible with HP and magic shield power up. Then you slowly aoe the monster to death. Because of this buying starting wave is more penalty than bonus. You lose the chance to spawn random talent upgrade by skipping those wave.
edit = endless more is literally endless. The deeper you go means the more power up you would have. Magic shield power up multiplicative with health power up. After certain point magic shield would outscale enemy attack by long shot (enemy stats is linear).

The Girl of Glass: A Summer Bird’s Tale
I just finished my first playthrough of Girl of Glass: A Summer Bird’s Tale, and I have a lot to say about this game. It is a game about imagination and self-discovery, with metaphors upon metaphors, and you kind of have to let it present itself to you on its own terms.
In this game, you are Krystal, an orphaned girl who happens to be made of glass. Krystal does odd jobs for a rinkydink and ramshackle circus that is on its last legs. The circus is populated by fellow outcasts and castaways; in an inspired twist that I really enjoyed, they all have different stories and personalities based on a series of choices you make at the beginning of the game. As pressure on the circus mounts from shady businessmen and corrupt officials, one day, a mysterious and charming young boy sweeps her off her feet and tries to convince her to run away with him. However, not all is as it seems with this guy, and she begins to have apprehensions. As all of this is going on, there is a second plotline that is rooted in dreams, imagination, and metaphor. In this dream world, Krystal is a warrior with a dark side who is journeying with companions such as a combat robot and a golem that are analogous to her real-life acquaintances.

I am changing my negative review to a positive one because the developers have been listening to the community in general, even though the game could still use more polish in certain areas. Beyond random technical issues and slow combat, I am curious to see what people think of the narrative, I don’t think the story is great, but it is weird and different, so much so that I often found myself stunned trying to digest the experience.
Let me put it this way, if you only played the game for about 4 hours, you probably would leave a positive review, but if you played past the circus, you might think the game needs a complete structural overhaul. I think the game is longer than advertised, took me well over 9 hours, granted the slow combat is a huge part of the content (and I had several softlocks). The game has 7 chapters that alternate between point&click adventure and JRPG sections which I do not like. The JRPG mechanics are not very good, at best the combat is boring, but more importantly, I think it hurts the pacing of the narrative. Thematically, the combat in this game doesn’t even make sense, every time there is a fight the narrative has to make some kind of excuse to fight a random animal. I figured the main character has combat in her head, but it adds too much imaginary conflict to what otherwise is a decent story (sometimes).

– Review written for 3 Point Play –
A pretty small, pretty chill, little game about living some sort of after-life which most weebs know of, that is, the isekai resurrection thing. Featuring some cutesy pixel graphics and easy mechanics, I think this particular game here can be appealing to anyone who enjoys anime and is not that much into gaming, since, once again, everything is pretty much entry-level mechanic-wise: you click people to interact, you click objects to collect materials, you move in a standard fashion with the WASD keys, and you do your combat stuff with WASD + Enter.

To Hell With The Ugly
In To Hell With the Ugly, you play as Rock Bailey, a blond and strikingly handsome young man who systematically refuses all advances made to him. And for good reason : he stubbornly saves himself until the day he turns 20.
One night, however, everything changes when he is drugged and kidnapped outside the Zooty Slammer jazz club and wakes up in a strange hospital.
Why would anyone want to abduct Rocky? Can you track down his kidnappers? Help Rocky get to the bottom of his kidnapping, and find out who is behind this horrible scheme.
Investigate Los Angeles in the 50s
Adapted from the novel of the same name by Boris Vian, To Hell With the Ugly is a turn-based combat and point & click adventure game set in a film noir atmosphere. Unravel the mystery surrounding your kidnapping by exploring some of LA’s most secret corners. Gather clues by interviewing locals, and interact with your environment to find the truth.
But some information won’t be delivered so easily. Use your fists to persuade the most stubborn to help you in your quest.
Cave Quest 2
I got a review copy of this game for my curator and wrote this a month before release, so it might be slightly outdated.
Cave Quest 2 looks like a pretty run-of-the-mill Hidden Object game, but it’s actually a solid P&C match-3 puzzle adventure. I’m not familiar with the first Cave Quest, but didn’t feel like that was a problem.
This game is easy on the eyes with some really nice backgrounds, though there are no animations for the NPCs and their expressions were sometimes weirdly inappropriate for their text (voiceover only in a few cutscenes). The story isn’t mind-blowing, but it’s entertaining enough and written or translated/proofread by someone who actually knows English.

In this video I take a look at Cave Quest 2, a match 3 adventure.
This game is great! I ended up playing the entire thing including the extra story line. It plays like a point and click adventure only everything is done via match 3 matches, from the travel and combat to foraging and forging. So if you love match three’s your going to love this. The travel matches are particularly good as they offer a different perspective on the match 3. You need to clear tiles to move your avatar forward and the gems will drop in the direction you are moving.

For Evelyn is a beautiful and emotional story with amazing style. The pixel graphics and sprites are perfectly done. Overall the story is very captivating.
Here are a few feedback notes for the Developer:
There were a few times where I became frustrated with unclear tasks/objectives.
There were a few glitches (I caught some NPCs walking through walls) but none of them effected the game-play.
Some NPCs do clothing wise look out of place. While I understand that these were cameos, I do believe that the clothing could have been altered better to match the main cast.
