Alexey’s Winter: Night adventure
I enjoyed playing this short point and click game. The hand drawn scenes have a great sense of place and the snow gives shivery cold feeling so I really felt sorry for the main character locked out of his apartment. The music was a good match for the game. The dialogue was very funny and endearing.
I had a small technical problem with my computer before I could play this game but the devs were really helpful and responsive so that the game works as it should now.
I hope the developers add some more episodes as I would definitely play them.

Alexey’s Winter: Night adventure is a very short point & click adventure set in the 1989’s USSR. The game was initially launched in 2017 on the mobile platform and gained positive feedback from the players. At a later date, it received a second episode (and as of Sep 26 2021 a third one) and underwent several design changes. This version was now ported to Steam as a paid item, while the mobile one remains free but was reverted back to one episode only.
The story follows Alexey’s troubles during one cold winter night, trying to get back his lost apartment keys. After a series of intricate puzzles he manages to regain access to his home, only to find out that in the meantime his TV was stolen. This sets the plot for the second and third episodes, which are slightly longer than the first one.

Samorost 3 was one of my most anticipated games for 2016. When I finally played and finished it, it left me a tad bit dissapointed
Right off the bat, I instantly fell in love with the presentation. Like Amanita Design’s previous games, the world is weird and wonderful, with all of the vibrant colours and impressive locations. The world is constantly full of life and energy; often at times, I just stared out into the distance and saw weird creatures in the background and observing their behaviours, and each time doing so felt like observing strange animals in David Attenborough documentaries. It is not hard to fall in love with the off-beat world of Samorost 3. The atmosphere is pushed forward with the beautiful score by Tomas Dvorak, the same composer for the music from Samorost 2 and Machinarium. The sound design, much like Amanita design’s previous entry, Botanicula, is very bizzare and maybe even out of place at times, but that made the world even more weird and charming. The presentation is definitely where Samorost 3 really shines.

Anomaly Hunter - Prologue
Oh man, such fun! I’ve played HOGs for years and consider myself an expert. I really like this new interpretation and storyline of time travel. It was a welcome challenge! I’m not sure why we’re finding anomalies or why the helper is so combative lol, but I can only assume the backstory will be in the finished product. I like the artwork and going through doors to find what you need. BGM was nice and not intrusive. It lets you know which time (past or present) you were in too so that’s helpful. I’d buy this in a heartbeat! Can’t wait until the game is finished!

Seems interesting, although it’s not very clear on what we’re supposed to be doing with these anomalies once we find them. Took me a little while to understand I had to go back in time and put the objects in their original place. The assistant’s are very vague, and don’t really help a lot. Still, once you get how it works, it’s a good game to pass time.

Papetura
Sometimes you stumble upon projects that you can’t help but respect the dedication and effort put by their creators into it. Yet understand that the end result of all that dedication and effort is, while impressive, not very good. Papetura is one such example. Reminiscent of the impressive fluid clay animations of The Neverhood, except with paper. And except not exciting and not fun to play.
Papetura is a point and click adventure game where most if not all visual elements of were handcrafted out of paper. And it does look impressive and very nicely put together visually. Especially when you consider that all of the game, but the sound and music, was done by one developer going by Petums. The sound design by Juraj Mravec is cute and the music by the legendary Tomáš Dvořák (Floex) is not his best, but very good nonetheless.

is a point & click - fantasy adventure game - from the small polish
indie studio - Petums.
It’s a relatively short - but particularly beautifully designed game. :)
The 3-D graphics are fantastic - the lighting adapts (dynamic lighting).
With a lot of attention to detail and variety game scenes were inventively implemented by hand - using the material paper/cardboard.
Story :
Pape is a creature made of paper, who lives all alone in a flower-like prison.

Great mysterious atmosphere and pleasing pixel art. Puzzles are simple in concept, but get harder as the game goes on. Very satisfying to complete a puzzle. One slight critique is that the animation of an obelisk coming out of the ground is cool, but gets a little tiresome waiting through it every other time a puzzle is complete. Wish you could skip past it after the first one (with something like a click), but not a dealbreaker by any means. Overall fun little puzzle game.

Soothing, relaxing, heartwarming, you name it!
Tree Trunk Brook is increasingly meaningful and relevant to our real life in a sense that it touches on hardships we are going through due to COVID-19. The game also captures and accurately depicts the mood of both yearnings for intimacy and loneliness that many people feel today.
The dialogues are rich and fun to read. Characters and their short utterances are cute. Game mechanics are all about simple yet solid point-and-click interactions and it is a great game design a free casual game can offer.

I love this game. The art is made with pictures taken in nature and edited to make the environment background. The game can finish very fast so you’ll have to play more than one time to received all the achievements and complete the objectives. The music is relaxing and I will love to play again if there’s an update with more trails and NPC’s request. This game is calm and help to reduce anxiety during this difficult period. Collecting the cans and bottles left us with a feeling of accomplishment.

Located in Cheltenham in the Cotswolds, England, the studio was founded in 2018 by Adam, a University of Gloucestershire graduate with a degree in Film Production. Not only is he a self-taught developer, but he has also created what may be the cutest logo in history for NinjaDuck Games. Out of Sight, their premiere project, combines vivid landscapes with a soundtrack by lo-fi artist Purrple Cat. The result is a relaxing 3D scavenger hunt that’s perfect for a low-key gaming session after a stressful day.

Pixel Art Coloring Book
As someone who does cross-stitching, which is pretty much like this, cross-stitching is more rewarding and engaging, cause you actually craft the dots yourself, but this is a great game to come to if you’ve always wanted to do something like that, cross-stitching, but want to do it a nice, simple easy way, or a free, cheap way, cause this is game is free-to-play; cause this is basically what this game is, a simplified version of cross-stitching, but just electronically, on a computer. Or it’s just simply a great game to come to if you just love colouring in, especially the colour-by-number, cause they tell you what colours to use with each picture in this game :)
