Alice Trapped Beyond Wonderland

Alice Trapped Beyond Wonderland

A very interesting game, the puzzles are good, some of them are more abstract but usually you can figure it out if you take 1 thing at a time. I played the entire game in one video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6tq7XLmEFow

It’s a magical world filled with beautiful castles and images, sometimes you see more “mature” things like a prison cell or an abandoned train but it’s great for kids and adults. The whole game is about 1 hour long, it will take most people 4 hours to beat. It’s great for this price

if something looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it’s most likely a duck. and while alice trapped beyond wonderland looks like a hidden object game, it doesn’t have any quacking hidden object scenes, so I gladly took a gander.

Just Take Your Left

Just Take Your Left

I super wanted to give this game a positive review, but it’s not quite ready for prime time yet. Even though I ultimately felt I had to give this game a thumbs down, please still consider supporting the developer by picking it up, perhaps on sale, especially if it looks like the kind of game you might be into.

Just take your left is a very short mouse-driven game by Mehrdad Rezaei, who seems to be a solo Iranian developer. Your character is an agent of some sort who is sent to steal a diamond from a castle, but is antagonized along the way by a small mouse who is determined to stop him.

this game has nice artwork and great character animation, a lot of though has gone into how the character reacts to objects, which is great to see.

I managed to get stuck a few times but not so stuck you’d give up or start hunting down a tutorial,

A little moan is quality control and grammar but English isn’t the guys first language, and considering its the cost of a burger the character animation is so much nicer than some dearer games, no aimless wandering about and dodgy “use” animation here!

Scheming Through The Zombie Apocalypse: The Beginning

Scheming Through The Zombie Apocalypse: The Beginning

A choices matter Visual novel full of offensive humor, staring two degenerate morons and how they deal with surviving a zombie apocalypse.

+graphics are pretty good cartoon style.

+Story line is funny(THE FIRST TIME)

+Soundtrack is relaxing, but not necessarily good.

-Saves. This saves after every chapter. There’s no other save option. Should save after every chapter, so you can go back in case you mess up. This is super punishing for mistakes.

-Lack of options. You can literally only change them at the beginning of game. And there’s literally nothing for sound or graphics. Just to show the text in the talk bubbles. If you choose to not show text, it still shows the stupid bubble over everyone’s head anyway. Oh and language settings, which only has about 8 options.

Scheming Through The Zombie Apocalypse: The Beginning is a freaking hilarious adventure game, that was created for people, who are seriously in love with funny characters, dark humor and witty dialogue lines.

Pros:

  • Good engaging story

  • Great nonstop humor for the whole game

  • Choices really matter here with many different outcomes

Post-Soviet Yandere

Post-Soviet Yandere

This project is a mix of horror and crafting genres. The whole game fits into a week of the life of a little Russian girl. Every day the character must make a particular magic ritual, using the materials at hand. At the same time, the player must control the activity of otherworldly and hostile forces. The girl should periodically look in the mirrors, which are distracting from her task. The movement of evil spirits of the apartment is visible only in reflections. But what happens if the spirit gets too close?

Domino House

Domino House

Fantastic experience! The ambiance, art, and music are wonderful, and the puzzle solving is very rewarding. Those ‘epiphany’ moments when you figure out each puzzle are well worth the time invested looking for hints and clues.

What started out as a “spooky” house you want to escape, slowly turned to a charming place with wonderful character and heart, that I was sad to leave in the end; you develop an attachment to Domino House as you learn it’s secrets and examine all the nooks and crannies in the wonderful artwork searching for clues/hints to the puzzles.

Yes, it took almost 5hrs maybe to beat this. But it wasn’t that complicated I just kept getting interrupted. You believe me, right? Think most people can complete it in under 3hrs.

This game is fantastic. Yes, I got it for free, but I already want to play it again. Who wants to play point and clicks again? The art is on point, the music is chill and relaxing, the scares and uncomfortable things in the house are just perfect. There was only one puzzle I got annoyed at because the sequence was so long, but everything was incredibly creative. Things blended into the environment seamlessly, and something I saw as easy I know other people struggled with. It’s perfect.

This extremly well made game, with good graphic, good music, good contros, good puzzle, and its just amazing game you need to play!

Early impressions. I’m only a short ways in, but I really enjoyed Simon 1 & 2 (I actually made maps to get through Part 1), and never even knew Part 3 existed until today. Which is really cool, given the cliff-hanger at the end of Part 2. I do wish the navigation was mouse-driven, but I’m getting used to the controls, and (once again) am enjoying my experience. The graphics make me think of the Nintendo 64 and Everquest 1. No issue for me there – I don’t play point-and-click adventures for the graphics. I get absorbed in the mental aspect of these games, and don’t even think about them. But seeing a Simon title in 3D is definitely a trip. And the voice acting really seems to be top-notch. So it’s a thumbs up from this rabid point-and-click fan so far. I’ll post a follow-up down the road, if I can remember.

I got this game in a bundle before, so I was not as irritated as some people who paid full price.

It has a number of bugs in it - one causes the game to crash. It is pretty short (under 10 minutes), art is okay, the whole thing is kind of something you would have seen on Newgrounds before.

The best part of the game was the business dude conversations which ended up making me laugh.

I don’t recommend buying it, instead just go watch the 5 min let’s play of it.
