Adventure Escape Mysteries
This is a set of well-done puzzle games in the adventure genre.
Pay attention to subtle clues – lots of the puzzles depend on solving combination locks where the clues are hidden in the background. Few of them are really hard, most just require good observation, as well as figuring out whether the objects you are counting go from top to bottom, bottom to top, left to right.
It’s got a system where you only get to play a certain number of chapters in two hours… but if you are antsy, buy some credits and go to the next one.

i highly recommend this game!! Am totally enjoying the numerous creative puzzles. Many of them seem rather difficult yet after u figure out the answer many really are right in front of u & just require “thinking outside the box” & click on everything. i personally don’t like using hints & due to that i haven’t had to order any keys or stars. Even the story is interesting! The fact that i got the game “free” is a bonus. I also looked at many of their other games & found that most of them are very well done & again, very creative especially their escape games. So if u love games with many innovative puzzles then try one, i don’t think u will be disappointed…..the makers deserve a BIG THUMBS UP!!!!

A Game About
A game about what now?
Life? Dating? Frankly, it’s too short to spoil it, but it’s quite an interesting experience. It could be described as artistic and/or experimental for its sheer crudeness. If (and only if, as it’s a spoiler) you want a word to describe the theme in more detail, it would be
! depression.
But I’ll tell you how the game plays anyway:
-
You take “turns” and choose what to do from an expanding set of options.
-
Each option gives a screen, animated or not, with a bit of story

What is this game really about? Is it about coffee? Is it about dating? Is it about giraffes? A short point and click game that tells you a story about someone. Even though the game is short, it still conveys what the developer intended to tell players, and it might hit home to some (including me). I do like how simple the illustrations are; they aren’t distracting and it adds charm to the game. If you want a thought-provoking short story (and a couple of achievements that’s easy to get), you may want to play this.

FREE indie point’n’click about paranormal shenanigans in British college. Apply here, mate.
Something happened to Steve’s girlfriend, Crystal. Friday night he was talking on the phone with her, and Monday morning he finds out that she never came back home. As a player, however, you’re privy to a strange event – a paranormal entity taking her…somewhere. Steve doesn’t know about it and immediately considers her murdered by a jock who bullied Crystal the same night she disappeared. This could be the end of the story, but, thankfully, Steve has two good friends who possess common sense (Eve & Murray) and aren’t so sure Crystal was murdered. In fact, Murray is starting to have strange visons that only confirm this theory. Armed with Crystal’s cell phone that was dropped during kidnapping and good, old British humor they set out to unravel the mystery.

CAYNE
STASIS players will be familiar with this Free To Play addition about a pregnant Hadley who manages to escape from a nightmare birthing procedure. What follows is a top down sci-fi adventure that has more gore than a zombie breakdancing session.
The cutscenes are high-res of Hadley’s escape progress as you solve puzzles, item hunt and find codes to access each area of the facility. Each area uncovered begins with voice acted scenes that are mature & at times sci-fi horrific similar to the movie Alien sometimes the personality of Hadley can come across as dark with some inappropriate humour but to me this should be viewed as the characteristic of Hadley rather than poorly timed scripting. After all, it is a deep sci-fi plot with a controversial horror element so it should have some moments of light mood to break up the heavy plot and, at times, challenging gameplay.

TL:DR Despite the high production values and it being free, Cayne is an absolute mess to play due to its amateurish game design and pompous writing, which ultimately make it not worth your time.
Both the graphics and the voice acting are extremely polished, with beautiful prerendered backdrops, quality CG cutscenes and overall solid performances by the voice cast, the only real blemish being the main character, whose tone shifts inconsistently, with sudden yells and hoots that are jarring and out of context.

Coloring Book for Kids
Coloring Book for Kids™… What more can be said about this game that hasn’t already been said about Minecraft, Tetris, Skyrim… Peaksel has once again revolutionized the Kids' Coloring Book genre with this criminally underrated gem. The game is packed with hundreds of levels that will ensure hours and hours of fun for everyone who decides to give it a try. The controls were very responsive and the lag was always at a minimum! The game never tanked below 60 fps throughout my first playthrough (i have a macbook pro). The graphics may not be as good as you’d expect, but for a game of its time, they hold up very well. The story was fantastic and ties in perefectly with the game mechanics. I felt so connected to all the characters.
! Try not to get too attached though… The gameplay was easy to learn, yet hard and fun to master, and there were close to no microtransactions, unlike other modern AAA games that aim to rob you of every last penny!

Cube Escape: Paradox
Over half of the game content is outside of the game.
The game itself is good and fun… but if yeh try to complete the game honestly with no cheating, yeh are gonna have bad time.
I finally googled how to get last achevements, over half of them… and found out there is movie yeh are supposed to watch. Game has link on this movies trailer, which does not contain the hints.
If I wanted to go around internet googling for information, I would be doing school work or research. When I buy game, I want to the puzzle pieces to be in the game. When is the last time yeh bought buzzle from shop and found out, not all the pieces are in the box you got… Not common, because that is not how puzzle games work.

tl;dr: Rusty Lake games are Brilliant! They took a step further and made a movie!
Pros:
-
Really well crafted universe with rich story
-
Decent blend of easy and challenging puzzles
-
They Made A Movie with this one!
-
Prefer mobile? They have more games on iOS app store
-
Achievements, game, and movie all tied together. How cool is that!
Cons:
-
Wish all of their mobile games were on Steam, I currently have the whole series on my phone
-
If you don’t like puzzle or escape games this will be a hit or miss for you

Metaphobia
I started this game at the end of a very tiring day to unwind with some simple puzzles. Instead, I found myself stuck on what turned out to be a relatively easy one early on. I was exhausted, so I fell asleep in the middle of solving it. It happened again because I kept playing at the end of a long day, so I would say my actual playtime is probably 2 hours shorter than recorded, mainly due to the unintentional naps.
I want to clarify that I did not fall asleep because I was bored—the combination of my mental and physical exhaustion from a long day plus being stuck on a puzzle just did me in. I enjoyed the puzzles very much, even when I had to resort to trial and error sometimes!

Pros:
-Music
-Voice (not the acting per se, which is slightly above mediocre, but the variety of differently voiced characters)
-Narrative text (the writing is actually rather good and the amount of work put into writing is admirable)
-Riddles. Riddles are good, wish there were more of those.
Cons
-Poor storytelling. Even though the plot evolves more or less naturally, there are large inconsistencies which spoil the experience. The general storyline itself is primitive-esque and revolves around an overused and outmoded theme. And the ending is outright frustrating on many levels, from the rather poor narrative decision of fitting a good half of the global storyline into one long dialogue to the feeling of dissatisfacton with the outcome.

Session Seven
I’m gonna be honest, I did not know what to expect when coming into the game. I was just browsing the Free to Play section of Steam because I was bored. Though I am glad that I managed to find this game.
It brings back so many good memories of playing Point & Click adventure games as a kid and just using an item on everything you can think of until it works. Reminds me so much of games like Kings Quest and all of them. At first, it was a bit hard for me to believe that it was made recently too since it seemed so much like the old style of Point & Click games.

I really enjoyed the story; I found it rich from the beginning
! and I like the way memory and session alternate. However, some dialogue options seem a bit off when combined with certain endings (how could he be cooking pasta for her the previous day, for example, if he was imprisoned ever since the events).
The gameplay is nice and simple, although a bit tricky at times
! (like the box near the boiler, where you have to look in twice to discover everything; or the way the drone operates) . I like that some objects are usable, while other just trigger memories.

Song Animals
Short and sweet. Aside from a bug that crashed the game right before the end (which made me restart), it is a nice experience. It serves as a nice little break from other games and is very refreshing.
– Real player with 0.6 hrs in game
It’s a very nice, relaxing game before sleeping time for example. The only thing I have got 2 crashes and have to restart the game. The 3th time I could finish the game in 1 time to reveive all the achievements.
Please fix that bug in the game. Also the movements of the characters feel a bit too bumpy, it should be better when they are more fluent.
However, the crashes are the main reason I won’t recommand to play this one…
