Still There
Still There – An Existential Space Adventure
Still There is a unique game in that it combines various elements successfully without sacrificing the quality of any single thing. The puzzles are varied, interesting, sometimes infuriating and always satisfying yet the simplification option means that the meaningful narrative isn’t barricaded behind a difficulty wall and players aren’t prevented from experiencing the culmination of the storyline’s various threads and miss the ending. This shows respect for player choice but also places equal importance on both of the main aspects of the game, reiterating that it is a narrative-driven, puzzle game and not just one or the other.

Without exaggeration and long conversations, this game is brilliant. I can’t even make many comparisons to her, the closest thing is the 2009 «Moon» with Sam Rockwell. The ideal atmosphere of cosmic loneliness, feelings of one’s own imperfection in front of the impassive thousands of shining starry eyes, tearing oneself away from mother Earth into infinite space. After a personal terrible tragedy, the Earth became too big for the protagonist, and he locked himself in a cage both inside and out, becoming a caretaker of a cosmic lighthouse, dangling somewhere in the endless waters of a vacuum. Gorky, the endlessly chatting cynical computer, and the silent iguana became his only companions here, somehow somehow postponing the final fall into the depths of madness. Well, the routine of maintenance of the lighthouse, which is so complicated that a brief reference on its contents is available on 14 (!) Pages of the manual (and to solve puzzles you will have to read and understand all of them, you can believe me).

My Dear Frankenstein -English Edition-
A very cute and fun puzzle game from NUMBER7 and Moonchime. I played this for the spooky season and the atmosphere was perfect! (Not to say you can’t play it at any time of the year)
The main character is a boy named Adam who has been given life by a reclusive and wealthy man rather obsessed with pushing the boundaries of science and technology. After being warned about leaving the mansion due to his startling appearance, Adam receives a mysterious visitor who wants him to do the exact opposite. As it turns out, pieces of Adam’s heart have been scattered throughout the town and he must explore to get them back.

Dragon Audit
If you like light-hearted fantasy, you will likely enjoy this highly humorous tale (or tail?). An auditor is sent to a castle that’s rumored to be inhabited by a dragon … because that castle’s taxes were falling behind.
A few ~ mostly ~ easy puzzles are included in this roleplaying game. No combat.
Much fun to be had!
I bought it during early release, directly from the developer. Helped hunt bugs. He was kind enough to include “Tumblyweeds” in the credits.
So my “hours played” displays vastly fewer hours than I have actually spent playing this game.

I think it would be very easy to harshly judge this game based solely on the trailer and content on the store page. Despite that, it is a thoroughly enjoyable adventure gaming experience. Indeed the trailer doesn’t do the graphics and art style justice which actually looks much better in game (although admittedly still very obviously Unity powered). The puzzles are on the simpler end of the spectrum, although I personally prefer that over absurd moon logic puzzles typical of older adventure games. It is relatively short, and can easily be completed in one ~90 minute sitting. For the price asked I think that is very reasonable.

Rumu
(click ↑ to open if you don’t see a bullet list)
Basic things you should know:
-
Despite appearances, Rumu is “not a branching narrative ” – none of the dozens of dialogue options you’ll be asked to click through influences the story.
-
The game proceeds through “days,” and you can’t save anywhere mid-day. If you quit out and continue, you go back to the start of the day.

Spoilers ahead. In summary, the game is tedious, too short, (only around 2-5 hours of gameplay) and too predictable.
I’ll give props where props are do. The game did its job in surprising you, in some cases. It was also pretty interesting the first time playing. The graphics aren’t godawful, and the vacuuming parts were pretty satisfying. Now for my complaints.
The storyline was too predictable. There was so much foreshadowing in parts like how Sabrina stuttered a ton when mentioned David and Cecily’s absense. There was obviously something shady Sabrina did.

Arkhangel: The House of the Seven Stars
So far I have read the equivalent of a 300 page book and I’m only an hour in. I don’t mind that there aren’t any voice actors. What bothers me is that every place our hero goes, he “finds” a stack of books and instead of going about his business, decides to pick each one up and read from it. I understand there’s a theme to the books, but why would you kick off a game with this much reading? Our hero goes into the library where there are about 20 shelves filled with books. I’m not exaggerating when I say that he picks a book from each one of the shelves and reads about 3-5 paragraphs from each book. Then he goes around and reads books on stands too. I love to read but today I decided to play a game instead of reading a book. Unfortunately, the game disagreed with me and made me read a book anyway.

Arkhangel: The House of the Seven Stars is a beautifully great haunting Lovecraftian game; okay let’s talk about the story.
It’s a cold wintery day as Michael Kearney is on a train with his wife Lily and their daughter Gabrielle as they head to their new life in the little town of Haven, where they can put all their troubles behind them and start anew.
But Michael has been having strange dreams about dark waters and an unknown ancient evil resting beneath the cold waves, what could it mean? Is it just anxiety or is it something else. Whatever it is if Michael is not careful it could destroy his whole world.

Dream of Tomorrow
Accompany Lena, a young creative student on her adventure – solve tricky puzzles, experience funny situations and confront mean bullies!
Hardly a day goes by where Lena is not bullied in some way. Why? Because she is not like the others. She is a sensitive, creative and helpful person who is not interested in things like trends and fashion. Since she is being raised by her grandparents, those topics are not really important in her everyday life. This is one of the reasons why she is the target of a group of bullies who constantly harass her.

This was a wonderful point and click experience. The pixel art is really beautifully done, great story telling, fun puzzles. I will definitely be purchasing the supporter pack. Great job and thanks 3

“If on a winter’s night a traveler, outside the town of Malbork, leaning from the steep slope without fear of wind or vertigo, looks down in the gathering shadow in a network of lines that enlace, in a network of lines that intersect, on the carpet of leaves illuminated by the moon around an empty grave - What story down there awaits its end? - he asks, anxious to hear the story.”

## LOVE - A Puzzle Box Filled with Stories
Love is a fun, relaxing, and emotional experience. From the first moments I found myself drawn in. The first story you solve acts as a sort of tutorial for whats to come, and it also acts as a primer for the excellent storytelling you are in for. The game has no dialogue, the stories of each tenant are told through pictures and animations. The emotions and context that the game is able to convey with these two tools is stunning. As you progress through the apartment building solving stories, you will undoubtedly find one or two that speak to your specific life experience. I found several stories that I related to and they were the highlights of the game for me. I was enthralled by the emotions and situations the tenants are each going through and was driven to solve each puzzle because of the emotional attachment I felt to them. Love is a fun puzzle game, but I think for me it's more about the story and emotions that it successfully tries to convey.

LOVE - A Puzzle Box Filled with Stories was a fun relaxing series of puzzles with a nice soundtrack. Some of the clues/puzzles you knew exactly where to go while others made you do a little more thinking and exploring. For me, made for a nice balance and leaves me looking forward to what Rocketship Park launches next.
Not a very long review, mostly just wanted to show my support with a recommend.
