Aveliana
Aveliana is an infiltration-action-adventure game in 2.5D with unique and diverse gameplay: based on the detection pattern of enemies, you find your own route through the worlds. All the enemies can be avoided in the idea of a commandos-like. The gameplay is ultra-dynamic because it is focussed on a single character, Aveliana.
If you feel one path is too complicated or you want to explore a new route, it is always possible to find a secret path, in which the game smoothly transition from 2.5D to a 2D platformer. And if you are tremendous, you can choose to stand and fight your enemies!
The gameplay is constantly renewed in Aveliana thanks to the many enemies that I have crafted for you. Each of them has a different detection and attack pattern. Big enemies, like robots, can not be directly targetted because they are too tall. However, Aveliana has other tricks in her bag. All along with the game, you will also unlock new abilities to build your character.
Aveliana is also a game with beautiful environments that you will want to explore to discover all the secrets of the game. Each level has a different environment and atmosphere. Sometimes, after an action-packed sequence, you will have the joy to admire the decor before continuing the adventure! After a long journey in an environment entirely hand-drawn, you will face fierce and unique bosses!

You have lived nearly your entire life deep underground, watched over by a kind old man. However, it’s time to move forward. Rupert told you to seek out a being named Alvin, but he did not say why. Alvin loves to read and is likely to be found in the Library of Cats. Regardless of a reason, that sounds like a much nicer place to be than in these deep echoing tunnels. Let’s go!

Gameplay
Catsploration is a game where we explore digital heritage and creative commons works. As a cat. There aren’t many RPG elements yet, but I do hope to tell a story as I get further along with development. Although I hope this is something everyone can enjoy, I will definitely be focusing on the type of gameplay found in games like Mario64, A Hat in Time, ALTF4, and similar.
Community
Well, there isn’t one, yet! This game is just getting started. I hope to launch into Early Access on April 1st. Please join my Discord if you’d like to give suggestions about new levels or new music to include, as long as it’s a creative commons work or from the public domain. Or, maybe you’d just like to say, “hi!”

Eluxia Enigma
Information / Review English
Eluxia Enigma falls into the 2D platformer Genre, which was developed by Mikkotheque.
Story / Gameplay
A new Planet not on any Map in the World is waiting for you to be explored. The planet Eluxia is unexplored and holds many Secrets. In the Game you control Lieutenant Aura Mitchell, a Spaceship captain who is fleeing the war and making an emergency landing on the planet Eluxia. It is controlled either with a Keyboard or a Controller. You experience the Game from several Perspectives, regardless of whether you are walking straight, upside down or up the Walls. There are many skill Passages that require good jumping Ability or just think logically. Gravity enables you. You will quickly notice that you are not alone on the unknown Planet …The whole thing is accompanied by a wonderful Snes soundtrack in the Background. For the Collectors among you, collectibles have also made it into the Game, so turning every Stone is worth it.

Disclaimer: My scores/reviews are almost always based on having bought the game at close to the “lowest historical price” on steam at time of purchase.
Quick score: 4/5
Notes: Clearly very inspired by VVVVVV though with some differences. The difficulty is a bit lower (at least from what I remember). You are able to flip gravity in all 4 cardinal directions. However when you flip gravity you lose control of your character so you can only flip into a straight line. This change leads the game to being a bit more focused on puzzle design rather than precision, but in general a very similar concept.

Inferno
Inferno is a game about revealing the truth. It is a 2D platform adventure game heavily inspired by 16-bit platformers. Gameplay focuses on action and some light exploration. In this militaristic adventure, play as Blake; a sergeant in the Ragnarok Army, tasked with eliminating threats.
Dive into the planet of Veden VI, full of dangerous creatures in its different caverns and environments. Collect upgrades through the journey to strengthen Blake against the biggest threat of them all, the Ragnarok Army.
Growing up in the SNES era, I wanted to capture the charm I felt playing games as a kid. 16-bit 2D platformers are my main inspiration and I wanted to make a game that my 8-year-old self would be excited to play.
*** Challenging gameplay and boss battles
-
Explore many different dangerous areas
-
Tight and responsive controls
-
Engaging platforming**
10mg: You are such a Soft and Round Kitten.
Really fun game to play especially during quarantine as its overall mood is really upbeat in these hard times. Only negative is it can get confusing during your first playthrough but not confusing to the point it feels impossible to complete without a guide (looking at you half life). Overall fun game with mechanics that surprised me, highly suggest playing it but make sure you have the time.
*Even though I had received a copy early, my opinions here are completely unbiased.

Great game for anyone, an excellent introduction to the genres of sylvie-game and 10-minute-game, and a short sweet and cute experience for existing fans. If you must close the game you will start over from the beginning, so try to set aside a little more than 10 minutes for your playthrough in case you want to take your time and admire this gentle world. It’s hard to say too much without giving away any of the delightful moments you will encounter in these 10 minutes of game, so give it a try!

I downloaded this game thinking I would hate it and it would be a fun 15 minutes. But what I actually found was a game made with a lot of passion that is pretty damn solid for what its trying to accomplish. While it is a platformer, a lot of my enjoyment came from the puzzles throughout the game that absolutely refuse to hold you hand, making them pretty enjoyable to manage to find and beat. Great game :)

Baobabs Mausoleum Grindhouse Edition - Country of Woods and Creepy Tales
Go crazy in this 8-bit retro adventure set in Flamingo’s Creek, a ghost town that only appears every 25 years on the Albatro’s Road and immerse yourself in the most out-of-touch, alienated neighborhood community you will ever know.
Steal, fight, negotiate, solve puzzles… Anything goes to find Daphne and get out of that cursed town that will be kept, forever, inside your brain as one of the selected nightmares ever created.
Exitium
Challenging game, should be good for speedrunning.
Has puzzles and stealth and beep bop music

As far as the story and visuals go, I enjoyed this experimental game, but the platforming was a bit clunky. For the most part, it’s a puzzle-platformer with a psychological twist. The narrative is told from the perspective of a girl that is having relationship problems with her boyfriend. After each platforming section, you get to play a stealth mini-game where you are trying to isolate your boyfriend from the crowd by creating distractions. I suspect that game has 2 endings depending on your actions, I am pretty sure I got the bad one. Even though I kinda knew where the story was going, it still got me, and I am considering replaying it just to see if I can get a better outcome. It takes around 2-3 hours to finish if you don’t skip any puzzles, although you do have that option if you keep getting stuck. Aside from that, the game has nice achievement support, assuming that you want to replay the game with no hits and so on. Overall, the game is very creative, but that creativity occasionally comes at the cost of intuitive gameplay.
