This review is long past due, I don’t know how I didn’t write a review for this game over so many years. But by far! The best game Valve has made. Portal 2 is the definition of a perfect puzzle game. It really makes you think in a different aspect with portals, it’s so extraordinary. The story is absolutely outstanding and heartwarming, with comedic and lighthearted moments to cinematic scenes all while trying to escape Aperture Science. The visuals are nothing too captivating but very memorable. The audio is fantastic, Portal 2 has some of the best soundtracks I’ve heard out of any game it’s perfect for trying to think while going through test chambers. Everything about the main game is perfect I could play it a hundred times, come back to it years later and play it again, and it would be still just as great as the first time I experienced it.

Life Goes On: Done to Death
Life Goes On: Done to Death is a neat little puzzle game that I picked up a while ago and recently replayed to confirm my opinion of it.
The core concept of Life Goes On is quite unique and well-designed. Essentially, the game revolves around killing your knights in order to progress through the puzzles. The simplest example is creating a pathway across a spike pit with the knight’s bodies. However, this alone wouldn’t be enough to flesh out a full game, so the developers incorporated all sorts of mechanics that make the player think in a certain way to solve the puzzle. Life Goes On’s mechanics include but are not limited to: Checkpoints, toggleable spike pits/walls, saw blades, flamethrowers, buttons, conveyor belts, cannons, tractor beams, and more.

I first played the demo months ago and instantly fell in love with this game.
The full game did not fail to deliver.
The whole concept of (literally) standing on the shoulders of those who came before is presented wonderfully. See a deathtrap? Die on it, then respawn and walk on your corpse. Switch that has to be held down? Die so that your corpse falls on it, then respawn and walk past. Et cetera, et cetera.
The controls are a bit inaccurate at times, and will most likely leave you dying slightly more often than intended. Although since this game is all about sacrificing one knight to make a path for another, a few more corpses lying around aren’t that much of a problem. (And if you’re finding it difficult, a few more corpses aren’t a problem at all.)

Blade Crusade
Blade Crusade, the mysterious game originally found on Osama Bin Laden’s hard drive, is now available in the west for the first time!
It is the year of our Lord XX06. Legions of skeletal warriors have risen at the behest of an unlicensed wizard in the Mirabi desert, threatening the civilized world once again. Infiltrate and ascend the wizard’s mountain fortress level by level, slay his vile menagerie of minions, and put an end to the dance macabre once and for all!
OCCUPATIONAL HAZARDS
Spikes, saws, lava, automatic crossbows and all sorts of OSHA violations await you, but fear not! Weighty physics, tight controls and time manipulation let you jump, bounce and glide past obstacles with deft precision.
HISTORY IS WRITTEN BY THE VICTORS
Fight your way through waves of enemies and unique bosses! Use your movement skills to your advantage as you outmaneuver and juggle your foes. Slide, slash, dash and parry your way to victory!
ONE DEATH IS A TRAGEDY. A MILLION DEATHS ARE A STATISTIC.
A single missed step, mistimed jump or slow reaction can mean the difference between life and death. And rest assured, there will be plenty of death!
TIME IS MONEY
Find and perfect the fastest route through each level, making sure to gather every collectible. Race against other players and work your way up the leaderboards!

Robot Labs: Remake
I thought this would be a like a brick bitcoin miner. Is pretty funny and hard. Jump king meets a very scuffed portal ( but good)

YOLKED - The Egg Game
The moment I saw the concept of the game, I knew this was going to be very fun. Having a “casual” kinetic platformer/climber game with egg theme totally works, not just on screenshots and videos.
The game is somewhat comparable to stuff like Getting Over It, Jump King or even classic QWOP except here you have checkpoints and your egg character can easily crack/die(get yolked) instead of just falling all the way down to the level and losing all progress.
Visuals of the levels are well made and there are a lot of details/humour from devs, you might even call there is a “story” in each background. And artistically, it reminds me of Bit Trip Runner 2 and 3 art style, with how everything is wacky, chaotic, and related to you, everything is big obviously.

Had an egg-credibly fun time exploring this with my community!
Eye-pleasing graphics, great music & very satisfying egg violence.
The checkpoints are placed well to reward overcoming the challenges in each level.
Fellow grown-ups might enjoy it even more with their favourite adult beverage!
Not super long, but for an early access game what you get is well polished and there’s bits and pieces to explore off the main path. Looking forward to seeing what gets added!

-KLAUS-
-KLAUS- : I’m addicted to this story now
Klaus is the first game by La Costa studios depicting Klaus who tries to find who he is and why he’s here. With first time releases always come hiccups so has La Costa managed this and made an instant banger first try? In my opinion yes, incredibly so! While it’s not perfect it’s done a remarkable job. Either read the full review or just take a quick look below.
Pros:
✅ Incredible story, one of the best I’ve seen in a long time

Klaus
Overview
Klaus is an endearing and unusual puzzle/platformer that has just the right amount of difficulty to reward you for your efforts. It’s bursting with charm and boasts an unusual story telling system. The plot unfolds through a series of small and often humorous one-line sentences displayed within the game play area. Whilst a lot of these statements are jokes and flippant remarks, they also slowly reveal the story behind Klaus and his search for the truth behind his origins.

Simona’s Requiem
I like it allot!
This game has an atmosphere that is hard to come by. It reminds me of the atmosphere in games like Knytt. It’s a relaxing experience I can highly recommend. Stunning visual elements a true pixel-art adventure.
Also, a big plus for the dark humor!

I have a love-hate relationship with platformers: I really love playing them, but I get very frustrated if they are too difficult, even more so if I am completely immersed in the game. Simona’s Requiem proved to be not only a fun, entertaining and overall a wonderful metroidvania, but in terms of difficulty it also managed to find a balance between being overly challenging and ‘I can do this in my sleep’ - you know, it just constantly hits the spot which forces you to push your limits without making you want to pull your hair out.

Artificial Entanglement
Play as a Super AI, in an abandoned robotics lab. Use puzzle solving & platforming skills to progress through the lab. You are being monitored by another Super AI, the lab itself. Unravel the meaning of your existence, accompanied by the voice of the lab. It might be your only friend.
Gain positive or negative charge to interract with the magnets in the level. Magnetize yourself accordingly or you might die!
Also, this works with interactable objects.
Giveaway your active movement to get a small boost and turn into a ball. You will not be able to move like normal, but you can fit through tight spaces.
While a ball you can transfer your momentum directionally up to 3 times. But don’t forget each time you lose a fraction of your momentum.
Use your momentum to break obstacles to get through. Some breakables are tougher so, you will need to build up your speed.
Touch a deadly trap to blow yourself up! Watch your parts fling across the level and spill your oil all over the place.
Creep
Creep is a 2D platform game that takes place inside a struggled person’s inner world represented as a worm world. You control the worm form of the same person as he shows why this world exists and how it’s like to live there.
I have no friends and life is full of obstacles
Yes, it is hard to say the other worms in the world are friendly, and there are lots of other dangers you will encounter. There is no one else other than you to cope with all these. Your only weapon is your wit against this crooked world until you reach the point to hell with it. This won’t just go forever like that. Your relationship with other worms will change as you progress.
I once loved too
Throughout the story, you will occasionally visit some memories or analogical mini levels with different gameplay than the main part of the game. These levels will unlock new abilities the worm can use. These abilities are not mere powers. They are part of the actual character progression itself and they will start to change the main gameplay and story.
