A (precision) platformer with light-weighted puzzles, gentle difficulty curve, wacky plot, and hilarious narration. Especially enjoyable to play with a partner. Last few chapters could be a little bit too difficult though, but nothing insurmountable even for casual players.

Support local multiplayer, but controllers are necessary. Otherwise, you can progress in story mode with your friend in online multiplayer mode. When two computers are on the same WiFi network, the lag is nearly imperceptible.

English Version:

Given to me by a friend, I wanted to try this game, starting to play it without many claims.

A satirical and polemic indie about the continuously increasing downloadable contents after the sale of any game (contents that, as a matter of fact, should already be included in the game itself).

The game has no real plot, or rather, It’s the same old ‘‘save the princess’’ like Super Mario. It offers simple but diversified scenarios (some of theme are totally absurd). To me it was brilliant in some aspects, in others a bit too extreme but always funny. However, the whole thing is a fun and challenging adventure.

7/10 – Remember to not kill the Sheep

This review is a reupload from Gao Li Occasionally Reviews

In a treacherous game of greed and escapades a princess gets kidnapped under the watchful eye of her lover. Now, in a fatal game of cat and mouse, facing almost insurmountable odds, he must overcome his limitations and embark on a journey to … buy more stuff, because he can’t even jump over obstacles let alone walk left and the shopkeep is the only one selling these abilities to him. DLC Quest (2013) contains two adorkable little satires by Going Loud Studios in which players go through the motions of everything that’s wrong and right about video games of the early 2010s.

Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit

Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit

When I began playing Hell Yeah! I was not sure if I could enjoy an action platformer that looks like Mario Bros. from the 1980s. It looks like an interactive cartoon movie that requires plenty of jumping and jumping skill are required to advance in this game. I do not play many action platformers. After playing the first zone for a little bit, I felt like I could slowly enjoy this game.

The basic theme of the game centers around Ash, the protagonist rabbit. He is the rabbit prince of hell who finds out that photos of him romancing with a rubber duck could be made public on the Hellternet, hell’s version of the internet. There are 100 monsters who saw the photos, leaving Ash with one choice: kill them all. The story takes place across 10 zones, but there are restricted parts of zones so that you can defeat a certain number of monsters so that doors can explode to give you access to more of the zone.

Intro

Has the stress got to you recently? Do you feel like venting it up somewhere else? Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit can help you with that. It’s a side-scroller platformer game where you can fight mini-bosses and unleash amazing finishing moves to finish them off. It’s just what you’re looking for, right? Hell yeah!

Captain Mayo:

The world known as The Fridge is now at peace after a devastatingly long war between two rival kings: the Mighty Onions of Hein Kingdom, and Johnny Mustard, Ruler of the Province Eggplant. The exhausted Captain Mayo is taking a well-earned break to recharge and powers and his cool and cold cabin. The war took a lot out of him, and he hasn’t been feeling the best lately. In fact, he thought he had food poisoning at one stage. Anyhow, he is resting in order to be fit as a fiddle for his mate, Kenny Ketchup’s, wedding with the beautiful Princess Bea of the Hein Kingdom, when suddenly he hears several pressing knocks at his door. His mate Kenny is beside himself, hot and sweaty (yuck, warm ketchup), speaking fast and full of nonsense. But after cooling down, Kenny Ketchup announces to his mate that the eggplants have taken over the Fridge and Johnny Mustard has kidnapped his beloved Princess Bea! Don’t worry Kenny; I’ll save your Princess because I am Captain Mayo!

## JankBrain

Update: As of 2/7/2021, JankBrain was updated with a new core gameplay mechanic that significantly increases the fun, imo. Now, collecting the plentiful vitamins throughout each level charges up a boost meter. It only takes four vitamins to charge it to max, but the boost can be used even with only one charge. It behaves in the same way as Dumpster Bear 2's boost, allowing you to launch yourself in any direction and also attack through enemies and damaging obstacles (apart from one-hit kill obstacles). Depending on the charge level, you'll get a varying degree of distance from the boost. It makes the speedrun medals much easier, but the potential for competitive speedrunning is now huge, and it's more fun to play casually as well.

There is a very high probability that if you liked Epic Dumpster Bear, you will enjoy this as well.

I'm enjoying it very much.

It's too early to tell if Jank Brain is ultimately a BETTER character. The jury is out. Simple platforming goodness.

This game completely flew under the radar and i think its sad. The game in itself is awesome, completely original goi like mechanics, with a lots of nuance to the movement. Workshop support, not that hard to get into, you just need to know how to move and place object in unity.

## Epic Dumpster Bear: Dumpster Fire Redux

Don't judge this game by its cobbled together graphical assets; they actually end up adding to the charm once you realize how good the game is! Epic Dumpster Bear is a very enjoyable platformer with a good deal of content. It's got a lot of levels, 3 hidden collectible coins in each, some secret exits for optional harder levels, and speedrun challenge medals. It's also pretty challenging in generally fair ways (harder than Mario, easier than Meat Boy), even for experienced platforming game players. Also the soundtrack is super good. $5 is a very fair price for the amount that you get with this game.

Epic Dumpster Bear: Dumpster Fire Redux is a funny and challenging platformer that is fun to play. You play as a bear whose natural habitat has been destroyed by "an evil corporation" and you are out for revenge. The simple story coupled with the actual gameplay really reminds me of the classic 8-16-bit games such as _Mario_ and _Sonic_ titles.
