Toree 3D
For what it is and the price it is: A Geniune Mini-Masterpiece
A short-as-hell but thoroughly entertaining mini-3D Platformer. I’ve gained a lot of enjoyment from this title, and then replaying it going for those additional S ranks. The game shows you what it has to show and gets out before you can notice how limited the title really is. Despite that, it’s rewarding to master Toree as a character within the space and levels flow well feeling the perfect length. The only element I feel is under-utilised in the title is the horror element. It’s non-integral to the game to the point that I don’t think it’s even worth a spoiler warning. I played this originally through the 2021 Edition of Haunted PS1 Demo-Disc and I thought it was a blast both there and here but it definitely feels as if the horror elements were just included as a reason to include it on said disc. (That and the retro-grade aesthetics of course.)

Well worth the time, and certainly worth the money. Beating the game takes just short of an hour and going for all S-Ranks took me 3. It accomplishes what it sets out to do, and while it doesn’t go much further, it’s only a dollar - you can only really fault it so much :P
The only issues I really took with the game were the fact that the air fans don’t work properly on anything above 60hz, which makes 2 S-Ranks notably harder - and the horror aspects felt completely unwarranted. Starry Sky’s whole gimmick struck me as a thing that was thrown in there last second, especially considering it was never followed up on. It just feels like it’s hindering the game from being true to form, personally.

Crumble
VERY solid 3D platformer. I’m thoroughly impressed. Especially considering this is these Developers' first child. What first impressions :D.
Highly entertaining. Very challenging. Reminds me of another game called “Cluster Truck” but with a bigger budget & more content yet the same price. The physics in this game are superb and highly entertaining. The controls are smoothe & fair. The grapple is intuative. Air control is flawless. Wholeheartedly reccomend. It’s also, can confirm, super fun with friends :). 100%’d the game. Much replayability trying to beat your previous times. Has a few secrets up its sleeve ;3. Games price seems super duper fair for 15$ base price :D. I USUALLY collect games on deep sales; and I feel no qualms buying this full price c: .

Hate giving this a negative review since I feel like I should enjoy this. But the grappling physics that make up the fundamentals of Crumble keep me from coming back to improve my times.
With gamepad:
The priority of what the tongue “wants” to grab makes it feel like a painfully sluggish trial and error when going for better times. Even the slightest difference in approach can make the difference between the tongue pulling you directly into a wall or a graceful swing along side it for speed. Every time I pull off a good jump, it feels like random luck. There’s no feedback telling me what Im doing right or wrong when it comes to maintaining speed. The “aim cursor” is a damn liar and should be ignored. You can grab when you cant see it, and it does not tell you how long the tongue will be anyway(important to know, to properly time your release for more speed).

Sonic Adventure DX
What a game! As of this evening, I have unlocked every single Sonic Adventure Steam Achievement and had a blast along the way. Through my almost two years of playing SA1, it got me through the lesser parts of 2020, got me back into retro games, got me into collecting for the Dreamcast, became one of my favorite games and made me realize just how much I love the Sonic franchise and how awesome a franchise it is at that. Most importantly, its energy and willingness to try a lot of different things made me view games the way I did as a kid: they don’t always have to super artsy or mature, they can also be a sincere attempt to take you on a wild, fun-filled adventure.

Literally the best Sonic game, hands down. Download some mods to make it look better, but the game slaps just like it always will.

Astria
This game is simply brilliant !
It’s designed around puzzles you need to solve in order to exit each level. First ones are very easy, which kept me satisfied enough to continue and try to crack those puzzles as fast as i can. But i have to admit, last ones are super tricky and took me a lot of thinking to crack. I’m amazed by the progressive difficulty of the game, as you go deeper and deeper into those caves. Something which is indeed not easy to balance. Thankfully, the developper had the smart idea to add one element at each level to complicate the puzzles and thus, making them each time more thrillng to solve. Furthermore, they sometimes have a known mechanic you experiment in a previous solved one (to keep confidence), and a new mechanic, which forced me sometimes to change the way i think in order to crack it properly.

Edit to review: Absolutely amazing game it took me forever to figure out some of the puzzles so hopefully my play through will be helpful! This game requires you to constantly think outside of the box to solve puzzles especially in the later floors with a ton of neat mechanics which makes it challenging but super rewarding as you progress. The music in the game is chill and the environment looks really nice and mellow as well that gives you a peaceful feeling as you want to destroy your computer as you stretch your brain to the limits trying to progress. The creator of this game made this in a year by himself! which I can’t even fathom the amount of work it took to come up with those puzzles, mechanics, and make them all work together. The story is interesting and well thought out also you learn about two races and a cycle of rebirth which makes you want to continue to progress as well! Definitely recommend this game and if you get stuck check my walk through for some help ^_^

Back again
A great and fun platformer with a cool aesthetic, good music and a nice little story packed in voiced by Dexter Manning
Definitely recommend playing it and for its price, it’s a steal!

Simple visual style, cryptic and creepy narrative, some chill music, and some platforming that, when you get the hang of it, can be cleared easily. The checkpoint system is the real punisher, but are well spaced-out. Give it a go when you can!

Hollow Mind: The Lost Puppy
While this game doesn’t do anything especially bad, it simply doesn’t offer any reason to play it. It looks pretty, but the gameplay is too simplistic to offer any intrinsic entertainment, and there’s no narrative or other such reward to make it worth sitting through. Add in the bugs and general lack of polish and you get a game that simply isn’t worth the time in its current state.
The core of an interesting game is certainly here, but it’s barebones enough that it feels more like a project the developer used to play around with ideas than an actual game. The biggest issue in my opinion is a lack of reward or positive feedback for the player. For example, the stated goal given at the beginning of the game is to collect the “three” stuffed animals in every level. However, not only are there more than three of them in many levels, but there’s no actual incentive to collect most of them. A few of them have achievements tied to them, but it’s fully possible to gather all the achievements without collecting them, leaving most of them utterly pointless.
