Void Pyramid
A simple yet surprisingly addictive rpg. The atmosphere and darkly comedic writing particularly stand out as great. The six stats (Health, Attack, Defense, Brawn, Agility, Intelligence) are all balanced very well with each other, each being equally useful throughout the game depending on the situation. The three different classes and how they interact with the pyramid combined with the multiple ways to solve problems and differences in endings provide a good deal of replay value, adding up to at least seven hours of gameplay if you go through once for each class.

The real appeal to this game is the quirky flavor found in the text of item descriptions, object interactions and dialogue. The world here is a theocratic autocracy ruled by the Prime Pharaoh and it is littered with relics of lost technology. The underlying commentary on the social structure framed in scifi bizarreness is presented with such playfulness that it drives the approximately 5 hours (for the completionist) spent exploring and discerning the secrets of the 30 or so rooms, just about the right length of time needed to spend mastering all of the puzzles without losing interest due to the simplistic gameplay. Potential points of criticism are the battle instances, which don’t quite aesthetically match the rest of the game (as someone said it looks a little like the backgrounds were designed in MSPaint), and the music, which is variously essentially 15-30 seconds of beats on repeat, but alternatively this apparent amateurness could be a charm… I actually found the music catchy and tone appropriate. Regardless, if you are considering this game based on the screenshots, chances are you’ll be more than satisfied with this “purchase”.

Kynseed
It’s good so far.
Updated for ‘Hag & Slash’ Update
Fair Warning:: There are dark themes, and some mature references in this game.
Pros:
Extremely Ambitious game:
Kynseed is a LIFE SIM, not just a farming sim. the goal of this game is to give the player options to specialize in any available niches of the character’s life if the player wants to, with each being in-depth in their own stepping stones. This includes farming, business owning, combat, domestic life, animal breeding, crafting, player-character/spouse/worker/offspring skill and stat improving for even better experiences in those areas, etc. They’re implementing a lot of in-depth and unique features for each (check their roadmap in the official site, and the Discord.)

I’ve put a lot of hours into this game (especially for being an early access title), so it’s pretty apparent that I would recommend it.
I’ve read through some negative reviews and I can see where they’re coming from with some things, but I think it’s entirely accurate to say that Kynseed is worth the price. If you’re wondering whether you can get $10 worth of content, I’d say yes! The game’s value will increase with time, so I think it’s worthwhile to get it while it is so cheap- and you’ll have the added advantage of already having progressed through some major early events and having hoarded resources.

Yes, Your Grace
Yes, Your Grace! is a (Decision Making Simulator) which fallows a Polish Game of Thrones themed plot. The game is set in Medieval time period, sprinkled with sorcery and magical tales. It’s quite clear that the developer has taken inspiration from the Witcher & GoT, instead of creating an original story.
Yes, Your Grace. Is portraying itself to have this overarching storyline with different branching plots, that somehow are woven together to form these consequential decision-making moments by the player.

Read More: Best Pixel Graphics Choices Matter Games.
There is an argument going on among YYG players, as to whether or not your choices in this game actually matter or not. One side says, “Your choices do not matter, it’s the same game no matter what you do”, while the other side says, “Of course your choices matter, they will determine the life and death fate of nearly every character in the game”.
Here’s the thing: they’re both right… but explaining how that is, without relying on spoilers, is kinda hard. If you are asked to make a decision, and you get a different dialogue response depending on which choice you make, but then all of the gameplay from that point forward is the same… does that count? If you say “no”, then you are going to hate this game.

Swag and Sorcery
If you have the stamina for moderate grinding and clicking, appreciate highly detailed pixel art and love having limitless options to gear a party, Swag and Sorcery might be the game for you. It’s not quite a clicker, though you’ll do a huge amount of clicking and wonder why some simple quality of life options don’t exist. It’s also not quite a turn based rpg, since you’ll just watch your party walk on rails through turn based combats with no real control and minimal options for affecting the outcome.

Okay so there is a bit to unpack with this game.
TL:DR is: Has mobile game trappings, extremely grindy, shallow combat, meh story.
The longer version:
The game has quite a bit of potential, though much like Graveyard Keeper, leaves a lot lying on the table. If you don’t like idle games, or games that have LOTS of grinding, then I would suggest not reading the whole of this. This game is likely not for you. If you love grinding in games (like me) then there is a lot that this game brings to the table.

Fantasy of Eden
When it comes to games, there’s a time and a place for everything. My favorite JRPGs have systems that are so complex you could get lost in them, and I like them better for it. But man, sometimes I’m in the mood for something real simple, something bare-bones that doesn’t require intense focus or a huge time commitment. “Something like Final Fantasy 1,” you say? No, think simpler. Think Fantasy of Eden.
Fantasy of Eden, a game so obscure that I can’t find any videos of it that aren’t on the dev’s YT channel, probably won’t take you more than a couple hours to play through. The plot boils down to “there is an evil guy somewhere, go beat him up.” None of your party members have any personality or backstory beyond “he’s a fighter, she’s a healer, he’s a mage.” And yet I found myself enjoying FoE more than I thought I would because it’s an easy-breezy RPG. You’ve got your standard RPG tropes – traversing dungeons with a boss at the end, getting a ship that lets you explore the whole world, finding a secret village hidden in the forest – but it’s all shrunk down and condensed to something that you can fully experience in a single afternoon.

I’m actually a little bit surprised here. I was looking for something cheap and fun to play. I usually avoid the RPG Maker clones, but the other review on here got me to give the thing a shot.
On the surface, it feels like a cheap, poorly translated RPG Maker game, but when you tear into it, it’s surprisingly deep and well balanced. The controls feel a bit unintuitive, but once you get them down they aren’t bad. Altogether, I would recommend this game to anyone looking for a classic JRPG experience replete with all the things that make that great.

Fortune-499
This is a charming little game that I enjoyed. It doesn’t take very long to complete, probably around 3-6 hours of total playtime. The game has a fairly linear storyline where you are battling monsters that have taken over your workplace by besting them in games of Rock, Paper, Scissors. If it sounds a little silly, it sort of is, and the game’s humor reflects that.
The mechanics of the Rock, Paper, Scissors game is what makes it interesting – since a battle system based entirely on chance of course would be pretty dumb, instead you collect various cards that influence the battles and can alter your deck or your stats in ways to influence the game in order to figure out how to get through the levels (each day is a new level basically). There’s definitely a puzzle aspect to it where in some levels you’ll need to restart the level and reconfigure your deck/stats in different ways so you can progress through the story.

I originally installed this because the art sort of reminded me of Beglitched. That’s all I really wanted and it turns out to be by the same dev! I’m dumb, but I’ve very happy I stumbled on to it and got exactly what I was hoping for.
The core game is pretty different from Beglitched. It’s a literal rock, paper, scissors game with deckbuilding to influence the outcome. Each level uses a new specific mechanic that becomes a complex puzzle nested within the rules set. Just like Beglitched, the puzzles can be a little contrived and frustrating, but they’re also perfectly intertwined within the narrative.

M.E.A.T. RPG
I like this game a lot and really wanted to get more hours before I reviewed it but I feel like it would be better to get my review out there to help counter some of the bad reviews I have read, because most of the negative reviews I feel are terribly faulty and wrong, written by people who obviously haven’t played the game very long thus not seen many of the mechanics or content.
I guess it’s gonna be a long review so long story short: If you are interested in this game I truly believe it is well worth your money!

Rythenia

Three other heroes have joined forces with the wizard: Rick, the paladin from the lands of snow; Lisa, the high priestess of the temple of the desert lands and Dave, the legendary bard from the marshlands.
