Camera Obscura
Camera Obscura is a platformer with an interesting mechanic, but some glaring issues when you’re going for 100% completion. If you’re not, it’s an ok game, but you’ll need some patience anyway. It has alot of unfair and unnecessarily annoying sections, that have not much to do with difficulty and platforming skills but are just plain bad level design.
- horrible collision detection with enemies. The hitbox is a box with always the same size, even though some animation frames make enemies very small, filling only a tiny spot in that box (slime’s fall animation, for example, for those how already know the game)

Camera Obscura, at face value, is a very simple game: you play as a girl with a camera, making her way through/up a tower towards the top. The story itself is fairly engaging (while not being the most important part of the game), and reveals itself through “mementos” - collectable photographs containing a piece of the story (if you collect them out of order, things might not make much sense; luckily, you can read all of the collected mementos from the main menu). What truly sets this game apart is the camera, and the mechanics behind it.

Boo! Greedy Kid
A retro arcade-style game, with tight controls and good level design. The game is very fun to speed-run( in order to get under par times in every level) and even though the Kid’s moveset is limited, there are ways to minimize your times, f.e. rolling through an open door to close it, instead of stopping in your tracks and pressing up. My only 2 small gripes are:
- the level select cursor moves very slowly, so selecting later levels takes a bit ( a big contrast to the overall ‘snappiness’ of the game) and

Boo! Greedy Kid is a challenging one for me to accomplish, especially if you are the player type who mostly aim on completing the game with the achievement being done too. For my own opinion, it was actually fun and strategic to begin with. You can play modes such as campaigns and other steam workshop contents created by other devoted players. Each levels were comprise with system-default difficulties as you encounter and passed them from time to time.
I am glad somehow, that I as a player and a customer of this game, manage to complete the game with full stars achieved and unlocked all game achievements. It was exhausting to play, yet it does worth out to burn some of your valuable time.

Super Dungeon Maker ⚒ - Fink’s Awakening (Prologue)
I have been playing this game an absolute TON.
If you drew dungeons on graph paper when you were younger, this is for you.
If you’re a fan of top down dungeon games, you’re going to be right at home with this game.
It controls similarly to Mario Maker in the dungeon create mode (recommend keyboard and mouse for that) and the gameplay is really smooth. I do recommend using a controller for playing the levels themselves though, need that controller nostalgia… need to get a classic USB controller just to give me a bit more of that feel, y’know?

I love the game. This is a dungeon creator for a zelda-like gaming experience. If you like to create dungeons and let your friends and strangers on the internet run it, then you’ll be happy with this. For a free version it comes with a lot of tools to create dungeons. Right now there are bombs, a grappling hook, a jumping feather, a shield and fins available to use. Also you can create switch riddles and also a lot of fun stuff. I did a dungeon who you just need bombs for bomb jumps and it is fun.

A little, cute gem here.A turn-based tactics game where you control some slimes and fight against other slimes. Levels are set up as various grid like terrains and you are allocated a certain amount of units to play and position at the beginning of the level. Here, you must defeat them within three turn, using different types of slimes which unlocks as you progress such as ranged slimes and shield slimes. Each turn you can take three actions including moving and attacking your unit, and choosing which direction your slime faces at the end of the turn. This is necessary as slimes take different amounts of damage depending on which way they attack and are attacked, so strategising your positioning is key. As well as there being more various kinds of slimes later on, there are also levels get more complicated as there are traps that arise, different levels of the terrain as well as the scale getting bigger.

I really like this game, it is excellent. Is one of the only games I’ve played where watching the enemies move is as interesting as moving your slimes. The art style is excellent and the music is also really good. The menus are really well made, and everything is easy to use. Every move you make is impact, and the levels are challenging but fair. I really like the three round cap, as it means that you don’t end up hanging back and hiding. It is a highly enjoyable game, I highly recommend getting this game, it is excellent.

Super Tony Land
Got this game way back in alpha while supporting the developer’s (Alpha 0.46).
I absolutely love this game, its akin to the classic mario style platforming games however with way more physics inticed mechanics, and an entirely turing complete visual programming language called Tronics, which can be used to create crazy creations and fully functioning code interpreters (A brainf*ck interpreter, made by me to show off tronics power). Bugs I’ve encountered in the game are quick to be felled by the developer, by his hard work and motivation. truly an inspirational developer, and one I idolise.

Tomb Rumble
It’s like a Celeste and Towerfall mixup,
Instead of an strawberry you have to get a crystal, and instead of using arrows to kill others you use traps
Oh, and you can create your own maps, pretty cool

After trying this game out for a short while, I can say two things for sure:
1. While it’s clearly not a Transformice, this game creates a very similar fun and enjoyable vibe
2. I want to actually play Tomb Rumble more!
The pixel visuals fits perfectly for a MMO platformer, and controls are quite good - so far I didn’t had any trouble with movement, which in that kind of game is important. I can’t say much about
I suggest you to try the game yourself, since Tomb Rumble is a free to play title. It doesn’t take much space on HDD, you don’t need to create any external accounts to play it, and each game/level doesn’t take much time. Since Tomb Rumble launched just recently, there are many people playing it online so you won’t get bored.

Circuit Dude
Brilliant puzzler with some hardcore complex and creative levels. This game is a definition of a hidden gem…well judging by the number of reviews its more a buried gem but that doesn’t take away from the fact that this game is pure quality.Every puzzle game fanatic should play this even though some levels are extra hard.Stunning game.

A fun game in the ‘grid-based puzzler’ genre (a bit similar to boulderdash/sokoban/supaplex/chip’s challenge). Unlike most of the games in this genre, all the puzzles are on a single screen, but there is still plenty of complexity. Some of the levels are pretty tough, but it never feels unfair.

Cup Of Ethanol
My friend speedran the first level of this and I thought I’d check it out. The graphics were off putting at first but i assumed it was just a stylistic choice. Unfortunately they got worse as the game went on with the ice being a vile green. The movement feels too slippery and all the enemies had the same movement. Many of the platform sections felt like they were straight out of a troll game but without the novelty. Whenever you fall in a pit you free fall for about 15 seconds before you re spawn.

This game is actually pretty good!
I came upon it randomly, while searching for free games with a level editor, and lo, there it was. The big hangup is the graphics - clearly it’s programmer art. But if you can get past that, and play the game itself - it’s pretty fun!
