Intro
I was looking for a casual game from my library when I came across Timberman. The game looks simple enough to play in short sessions despite me not knowing what the game is supposed to be. What I thought will be an enjoyable game turns out to be a disappointment after a few minutes of playing it. More on the review.

When you can’t afford The Forest…
…then buy Timberman. This is a game in which our goal is to cut down as many trees as possible. The more trees we cut down, the faster time passes. The control is simple as it only requires us to click two buttons alternately. There is a singleplayer mode, where we cut down the tree by ourselves and unlock characters, and a multiplayer mode, where we can face other players and check if we are faster than others.
In general, it’s hard not to recommend such a game because of the price and its simplicity. Of course, such games often get boring after a few hours, but it’s understandable and very natural. For me personally, this game is a typical average. It is playable, but for many it can be a waste of time.

I loved the demo of this game and was HYPED to play the full version.
Without saying too much, I will say you should take your expectations of what you think the game is and throw them out the window and enjoy the ride! I fully enjoyed this very odd story. You can see the amount of love that went into this.

Bright Days in Quarantine
I played a few times in a row and I really liked the time management style, makes you choose the wisest activity before your stamina runs out. The pixel art style it’s my favorite, so, if you like pixel style games, you’ll probably like this one too. As the game says “Don’t freak out!” ;)

It always gets stuck on the DVD day no matter how many times I reinstall it and replay it, which sucks since I have been asking for help for this in the disscusion since forever. Despite this I will give it a positive review as it is a very wholesome and nice game overall! Just wish someone from the dev team would check the discussion page.

dungeon & heros
Rage-quit inducing.
I spent nearly 4 hours just trying to figure out how to play the game on the “easy” difficulty.
Poor translation.
Constant debuffs from element system.
Pretty much nothing carries over if you are defeated.
Buttons that don’t do anything when clicked.
Constant errors popping up.
Seems like an Alpha that was never play-tested.

Bad translation, the font looks weird, the game play is questionable and you can’t leave the map to retreat and heal without permanently losing stamina.

Grow Big (or Go Home): Ultimate Edition
It is pretty good, if you are unsure, get it on sale, give it a refund if you don’t like it but i think it is a pretty neat game

Time management crossed with puzzle - Making sure plants get enough sunlight and water within constraints of a moving day schedule, with reflective mirrors. Stressful… I don’t have a green thumb.

Lonely Tribes
Lonely Tribes is a puzzle game in which you beat each level by moving the characters such that they all merge together, using walls and the environment to push them together.
Later levels include special modes which allow you to completely change the method of play, such as Frenzy which moves everything 3x as far, allowing you to clip through walls, but at a cost.
There are currently 10 levels, with a level generator that can create over 4 billion different levels.
鸭子达奇 Duck Duchy
Q: Dak, dak! What kind of game is this?
A: Dak, dak! This is a terrible duck game!
Story mode and challenge mode are in the game!
The story mode is traditional one-way platform game mode!
Once the player passes the story mode, they can enter the challenge mode!
It’s like Boss Rush!
Q: Dak, dak! If I like Duck Duchy what should I do?
A: Dak, dak! Tell your friends this game!
Q: Dak, dak! If I don’t like Duck Duchy what should I do?
A: Da…? Uh…nooooo…
Q: Daaaaak?
Then, there was no answer.

Alone Journey
After 15 minutes of playing I’m ready to hide this game from my account. I bought it discounted from a third party retailer but I feel that I paid to much for what I got. I didnt have fun playing this game. I did like the pixel art characters. Still , a single piece of music playing through fifteen short stages with no story and just the title screen as an ending ( spoiler, sorry ). This game feels like it was made in a level editor in under an hour.

Alone Journey is a “template flip”, that is to say, it’s a “game” that has been produced by copying a game template or using a game construction kit, and changing a few things. In this case it was a game construction kit/template for doing a simple retro platformer/brawler game. At least I think it’s a brawler, the “developers” didn’t bother mapping a control button for attacking when they ripped off the asset store template. Embarrassing.
This is deplorably low quality bundle trash. No professional effort was made in terms of game development, copying a template/using a game construction kit requires no talent, and unsurprisingly produces products that have little to no value as games, especially when compared to the work of professional developers who create genuine products for gamers. It’s almost as bad as an outright asset flip.

Beach Rules
A cute game with a few hours of gameplay. You play as a lifeguard that enforces rules, picks up trash, and rescues swimmers.
Each day, there are 4 randomly selected forbidden activities to enforce. Examples: No dogs, kites, fishing, nudity, sellers, grills, music, ATVs, jet skis.
Trash also appears and you have to drag it to the trash bin to keep the beach clean. You can also hire a robot to help you clean.
Sometimes a swimmer will need rescuing. It starts off easy enough, but you’ll need to hire more lifeguards to make sure you can save everyone on later days.
