Blackbeard the Cursed Jungle
Did not like it. Controls seemed wonky, and I got stuck on things a lot. Didn’t play it very long before I gave up. Seemed really sub-par though.

Captain Sabertooth and the Magic Diamond
Reminiscent of beloved side scroller games like Donkey Kong, Captain Sabertooth is truly a pleasure to play. The cutscenes were beautiful to watch, and some of the backgrounds were gorgeous. I especially loved scenes where you could see the pirate ship in the background, so detailed!
Controls were smooth and easy to navigate, the character actually had weight to it, making it easy to navigate jumps and tricky areas.
I especially enjoyed some of the functions like the map, where if I got lost I could steer my way back, and find where quests were.

got it for my nephew who'#s coming to stay soon. Last time he was here he enjoyed watching me play crash bandicoot but it was a bit much for him. Naturally gave it a whirl. Nice graphic flow and a it doesnt punish failure which is good for a tounger game. Cool thing to explore may have to “help” him as an excuse to have more time on it. Quality

Curse of the Sea Rats
Curse of the Sea Rats is a ratoidvania platform adventure lovingly crafted with hand-drawn animations, which charts the epic journey of four prisoners of the British empire, turned into rats by a pirate witch. To regain their human bodies, they will have to fight dangerous bosses, explore the vast coast of Ireland, and ultimately capture the witch who cursed them.
Beautiful 2D, hand-drawn animation breath life into the game’s characters - inspired by the likes of Disney and Don Bluth and reminiscent of the golden age of 2D platforming action. These combine seamlessly with detailed 3D environments and enhanced by light and shadow to create a 2.5D platforming experience of incredible quality.
Chart your own progress through a huge, non-linear game world as you attempt to track down the pirate witch who cursed you. Shipwrecked on the coast of Ireland in the 18th Century, you’ll need more than just your swashbuckling skills to forge your path to freedom.
Whether you play alone or with up to three friends, there are four playable characters to chose from - Douglas, Buffalo, Akane, and Bussa. Each bringing their own unique fighting styles to the adventure to help you get the better of both enemies and the environment!
While each character has their own strengths and weaknesses, you’ll be able to improve their abilities as your adventure progresses - unlocking new special skills, boosting your offence and defence, or unlocking powerful magics!
A labyrinthine network of hundreds of pathways, rooms and discoveries lay before you, in a substantial quest of over 12 hours. Can your master each character’s abilities, find all of the game secrets and unlock all the multiple endings?
Many thanks to everyone who has supported us so far. We look forward to updating you on our development progress. In the meantime we would welcome any feedback in the community - and don’t forget to Wishlist if you’d like to be kept up to date on any upcoming news!

Pirate Island Rescue
Pirate Island Rescue* is a fun little casual side scrolling platformer.
Pirate Island Rescue is a simple platformer but it’s looks nice and is fun to play. The platformer part is pretty easy but you need to be cautious of some of the enemies, particularly the ones with the pistols. It’s easy to pick up and play and is a great way to kill a few hours if you want a relaxing but still fun game.
Hint- sometimes when you kill the boss pirate at the end of an island there are a few pirates waiting between him and the boat, if your not careful you’ll get shot.

This is a fun little game that you can easily complete achievements in and is also a great time killer. The graphics are good for a side scroller and the controls are very fluid. The levels are procedurally generated (randomized). If you are looking for an easy and relaxing game, this is it!

This is a very short game. Beat it in half an hour. I generally enjoy these cheap indie platformers cos they’re mostly fun. This one was fun, but I think it’s still a bit rough around the edges. I’m not sure I understand the physics of this game. Controlling it takes a lot of getting used to. I think there is a lot of room for improvement, including, but not limited to, something as simple as making the cannons sound louder than the music (which can get a bit annoying at times) so that you can know when they fire if they are out of your sight. Also, dying just makes the character vanish, I think the “death” sprite could be just a little bit longer. But, overall, as I said, the game was fun, with nice pixel graphics and its fair amount of challenges, so I would still give it the thumbs up. Be warned tho, if you’re better at platforming than I am (which I’m sure is not too difficult), you will definitely beat the game considerably faster, and, to be honest, I don’t see much replay value here.

Golden Force
Good game but, it gets way too hard way too fast, and it follows the one female choice cliche that old games suffered with, black people don’t exist in this universe for some reason let alone as a playable character, but at least ponytail dragons does.

Pros
-Great visuals
-Great controls
-Challenging
-Fun bosses
-More good levels than bad
-Overall it doesn’t overstay its welcome
-MULTIPLAYER SUPPORT!
Cons
Glitches and occasional softlocks
Enemies can be seen as too tanky
Some questionable level design decisions (enemies can spawn on top of you with no time to avoid)
In its current state I recommend waiting for a sale to pick this game up. If there are minor updates in the future that polish things up a bit more I would easily recommend this game at its complete price.
