Sonic Spinball is a spin-off of Sonic the Hedgehog games that combines Sonic gameplay with pinball genre. Actually, the most full name of the game that I found was Sonic The Hedgehog Spinball: Robotnik’s Pinball Revenge, haha. It was developed by Sega Techincal Institute, division of Sega of America I believe, that also outsourced most of game’s programming to Polygames. It was made as something to fill space between the second and the third Sonic main games. Came out in the end of 1993 as part of the event “Sonic Mania”, which also had Sonic Chaos and Sonic CD coming out at the same time. 8 Megabit ROM.

Absolutely love the balance of tension. It’s definitely exploring things left untouched in other re-interpretations of this classic, feels like the ultimate version of the brickbreaker genre.
omg, the hexagonal enemies are amazing for all the rebounding goodness, but the little orange rounds are complete nonsense.

Drawkanoid: Satisfyingly Chaotic
The premise of “Breakout but you draw your paddle” sounds interesting in theory and is actually really interesting in practice. The visuals do the game a huge service, especially when you manage to get an insane combo. It’s a nice game to come back to every so often and (unlike say “Super Hexagon") becomes more a game of endurance and in the moment decision making rather than one of reflex.
I’d recommend it! it’s like… the price of a lunch… and you get to keep it too. Definitely gonna play some more of it!

Girls Pinball
“Girls Pinball” is a relaxed casual game. Players control a horizontal board to block the falling ball. When the horizontal board hits the ball, the ball will bounce again. After the ball hits the square, it will be eliminated, and after all the squares are eliminated, you can pass the level.

Ball doesnt bounce like it should. For instance, it will hit a wall and just turn 90 degrees for no reason whatsoever. It hits a gargoyle and you have predict where its going to go because there is no proper path it follows. It also speeds up too fast so you cant catch it.

INTRODUCTION
While I haven’t logged much time with this game yet I already have a good grasp of it, so I thought that I’d go ahead and write a review for it, especially as it plays very much like Zombie Pinball from the same Developer and Publisher. I currently own 33 video pinball games on Steam. While most that I’ve reviewed have received a Thumbs Up from me, not all have managed it. Admittedly I haven’t reviewed all 33 that I currently own.

Small playfields and limited play modes will leave players quickly exhausting what pinball play is available.

BRAVE PINBALL
Pinball with a good twist.
Fun, enjoyable, challenging like a real pinball table - easy to start, hard to master. Sometimes are to tell where your character is on the flipper making shots not always go where you want, but definitely would recommend to pinball fans who are looking for something a little different, and RPG fans looking for a DnD style challenge.

THE GAME
It’s pinball with a slight RPG twist to it and anime style graphics.
This is an enjoyable game with solid physics and gameplay. There are several boards that make up this game, and I’ve found that doing a backhanded flipper shot comes quire naturally. There are 16 goals to reach (called pieces in the game, which you collect).
For me the only downside is that you can’t nudge the table. Has controller support, although you can’t remap any of the controls.

Quantic Pinball
A single game with a single music track, but having six different tables to unlocking a gate and launching a ball through or by playing a table at least 10 times. After you escape through the gate of all tables a bonus time-based standalone game where you have to take down invaders by hitting them with balls similar to Space Invaders. If the timer runs out, then the game is over. The graphics are simplistic, but it’s got a lot of charm and some cool bonuses like an 8+ multi-ball. A lot here to enjoy for the inexpensive price. Recommended.

Hard Rock Pinball
PLEASE NOTE: This game is still being developed! So this is more or less an early access review.
Hard Rock Pinball as the name implies is a pinball game with a hard rock music theme. Each of the present 3 tables are themed accordingly and the developer is actively working on this title. The game itself plays okay and some of the recent additions make the game more palatable as his work continues, however, at this point the game is playable and may be enjoyable to some, but without rule sheets and achievements (which don’t appear to be working), it may be a little hard for some to take. The music in the game can get a little grating for long game players. Color scheme is still feels to old school for me, but everyone has a preference. I personally say give it a try, for the current price it is very reasonable, but who knows if you will like it, maybe you wont.

-Ball is more like a pea than like a metall ball.
-Strengths of the Flippers is very weak.
-Power of the Bumpers and Slingshots is just not existing.
-The main music is a simple short drumloop which start to get nerving after a short period.
-The advertised sounds of guitars and synthesizers are just short one shot samples on bumpers and targets.
-No pause mode available
-No settings menu to change controls.
-Cutting half of the points just by bad luck is a no-go (even 2 times on a single ball)
