Though the game is gory, violent and overall pretty morbid (possibly having dark lore as well) along with pretty unnerving secrets. Its still a FUN game to sink MANY hours into, simply by making machines, traps and random setups. Which can be very fun I usually find myself coming back to this game just to do something fun! Overall a great game with relatively common updates and weekly BANGER mods. Cya! -BryceTheKirby

Absolutly amazing! i have over 280 hours in this game, and i still love playing it, mods are really fun to mess with, and theirs quite a few secrets in the game that are fun to discover, i took me over 250 hours to discover an entirely secret map, and it was really fun to mess with syringes and chemicles, if i had one request it would be to add more fun products of mixing chemicles, like how mixing mending + acid creates a separate chemicle, More stuff like that could be really fun mess with

Bad Rats: the Rats' Revenge

Bad Rats: the Rats' Revenge

Let’s make this clear. This game is my life. And no, this isn’t satire so grow up a little bit and understand passion when you see it. I have logged over 730+ hours and I intend to log thousands more. Not only do I play this game daily, but I put over 30+ hours a week into it at the minimum. If you can do math like me that puts it at about 4.28571429 hours a day. (no I didn’t use a calculator, I can do math in my head.) Anyone who is just staring out on steam should get this game. It’s cheap and user friendly. Not to mention is is only O N E dollar! That is incredible! I have gifted this game probably 10 times and I’ll do it again. I’m also a moderator in the Bad Rats discord, which I am highly proud of. I worked tirelessly to get that position and I think I’m close to getting admin. Anyways, no matter the type of gamer you are, Bad Rats is for you. Just don’t think you’ll ever be as good as me. Please give this game a chance to change your life like it did to mine.

Bad Rats is a revolutionary first person shooter that sets a new standard for this era of gaming. This is game published by Electronic Arts and is developed by Dice on the new Frostbite 4 engine to provide a superior graphic fidelity compared to other marvellous titles including Crisis 3. The story of the game takes place in the year 2035 when North Korea officially ends the cease fire for the Korean War and launches a series of surprise attacks on the United States of America and South Korea. North Korea launches an overwhelming amount of long range ballistic missiles towards major metropolitan areas in the United States which devastates the population and cripples the infrastructure of the government to be able to function properly to contain control of the United States. North Korea launches a full scale aerial campaign on Seoul with a relentless wave of troops pouring across the DMZ of North Korea and South Korea. China and the rebuilt Soviet Union organized by Vladimir Putin has been supplying North Korea with highly advanced military technology and expertise has secretly been supporting North Korea for a war since 2006! You play as a squad in the Navy Seals for the United States called “Bad Rats” Your objective is to assassinate all cats in the region of Asia to cut off all food supplies from the North Koreans and collapse the regime of Kim Jong Un. Using the destructible environments from the Frostbite 4 engine you must use the environment for a tactical advantage to exterminate all cats from Asia. Fan favourite maps return including Seige of Shainghai where you must collapse a skyscraper to kill all cats in the building. Facial scanning technology from LA Noire returns to add an extra layer of realism with realistic facial animation movements to add more emotion to the already immersive world. This is a highly addicting shooter that takes place in locations across the world from nuclear wasteland America to the glorious lands of North Korea. You have a massive arsenal of over 500 weapons to use with thousands of gadgets and gun camouflages. Bad Rats is integrated with the Steam Workshop which has created thousands of community maps and gun skins to be submitted into the game for future free DLCs called “Operations”. Each operation adds an extra layer of immersion into the game with a huge variety of community maps and skins to be added to expand the already masterpiece of a game. Bad rats is a very skill based shooter and requires extensive training to truly shine in multiplier. Bad Rats is the only first person shooter on the market to add a innovative competitive mode with ranks to determine your skill level. In multiplayer there are 2 teams. Counter Cats and Cats. The counter cats must plant a bomb on one of the two locations on the map to kill the population of cats in the area. The cats must prevent the counter cats or the “bad rats” from planting the bomb by either killing all the Counter Cats or defusing the bomb to save the population of cats in the premise.Bad Rats is a highly addicting shooter that any seasonal gamer should try out but I assume you already have! Bad Rats global sales have exceeded 1 billion on the first day outselling the Call of Duty franchise. It is very rare to see game a game this flawless since the release of Half Life 2. If you like first person shooter games you already own bad rats, if you don’t you are missing out on one of the most brilliant game of this century.

I’ve managed to squeeze 491 hours of fun out of it, if that says anything about the game at all. It looks simple, but there’s so much content it’s unreal. In 491 hours I’m still discovering new items and abilities. The game is consistently being updated by an amazingly kind developer. I’ve spoken to 0rava personally with questions about development and they were incredibly kind to me. If I had to point out one flaw, though, I’d mention that sometimes hotkeyed items just won’t appear. To fix the issue you have to reboot the entire game.

If you know who I am, it’s kind of obvious why I’d recommend this game.

Mutilate-a-Doll 2 has been one of the most influential games of my life, and seeing (and helping) it grow to this point is astonishing.

From Day 1 I was hooked on this game, and that’ll never stop. I’ve made countless contributions to this game, and will continue to do so in the future. I just love it that much.

If you want a game to relieve your stress, brutalize your enemies, and have fun… this is the game for you.

Explore these 1750+ items with your heart on your sleeve, and enjoy the carnage that is all at your hands.

This is a very tentative thumbs up because the game is decent fun, but it’s marred by technical issues (walls with no collision detection, sound bugs, black frames) and a couple gameplay flaws (the camera). Here’s hoping future patches address some of these concerns.

If you’re using doors instead of blasting through walls, you’re doing it wrong. It’s a nice take on a twin stick shooter where you can’t kill or defeat things by shooting at them, but instead shooting them into things.

I love all the glitchy visual effects. Game is very light on story and humour is definitely very weird, but I’m liking it so far.

Saturday of Piercing Screams is the second game to the “Samozbor” series created by the Russian Developer “Derevotyan.” The goal of the game is to sacrifice 914 people over the course of 64 levels to the great shark god thing? Honestly I have no idea what’s going on… Like the whole series in general is super confusing to me, but it’s interesting none the less.

Paint the Town Red

Paint the Town Red

Paint the Town Red is a medium-paced bar fighting game with a large variety of weapons and enemies now and here to come. It still needs a bit of optimization, but the devs assure us that the game will be optimized as the game progresses (And updates.)

The enemies are completely destructible. You could dissolve someone if you have enough time and the weapon doesn’t break. All the voxels on the enemies have different properties, with bone being the strongest natural voxel and skin being the weakest. (You will be able to damage Riot Helmets later on, but those aren’t natural.) Additional fact, is that if a enemy’s brain is damaged in anyway, they will instantly die, if they don’t, its a bug.

Punch the square people. Do it. Punch them.

A great sandbox fighter game with a lot of options to play and replay various scenarios and workshop access, allowing for a near infinite supply of content.

The game also has a rogue-like dungeon crawler on top of all the sandbox fun that initially existed, adding what is the value of basically a second game of a different genre, with similar mechanics, on top, for absolutely free (That’s what I feel about it, as I bought the game in early access, wayyy before Beneath was even on the table). Beneath is a great dungeon crawler, with many different levels, mechanics and upgrades to take you through the different bosses of the game, most of them with their very own environment and even full levels with new enemies, just to build up to another boss fight.

I have absolutely loved this game. Playing this on my Index on Arch Linux, and it works amazingly with Proton! I’m excited to see what else will be added to the game, the options for customization is fun even if limited slightly. The mechanics are generally pretty good, however the ability to click with the extended lasers from the hands is a bit unpredictable on which hand it will be. I love the force abilities, thought I wish you could force push enemies even if its lowered for them in actual physical force. I would love to see some additional kinds of stages or environments, but what is there has given me so much joy and can’t wait to play more. Also you may fall through some of the rooms, when you walk into them. Also, I would like to see the ability to stab in addition to the slashing, also making it so you can hold the saber off to an enemy and turn it on to have it stab them.

This is a pretty fun game, for starters, but I can see people saying it gets old quickly, and I kinda agree. There’s a few complaints to be had, however, so I’ll start with those, and then get to the positives.

First off, the biggest problem I see this game having is a rather stale game play loop. As far as I’ve seen there are 3 difficulties and 3 game play lengths. This is on a map that makes them randomly, with each one procedurally generated, and makes each facility(the maps you actually fight on) linked, with some of them offering their other facilities bonuses. You click on one, go to the facility, and fight in there. Pretty simple, and I think I have an appreciation for simple, so normally I’d be happy, but the game play does start to get annoying here. Your goal is to clear the facility, progressing linearly through it, and as you go room by room, you clear the drones, turrets, and very few robots as I’ve seen. Once you’ve got to the end or die tragically of laser fire, you are brought to a screen that awards you points based on what cool things you did, like passive laser deflection, active laser deflection, fancy kills, using The “Power”(force knockoff, but this is like 99% a jedi simulator, minus the branding and Disney overlords), and throwing your “laser sword” to kill enemies. Then, you’re given some in game currency to fix your damaged temple, and that’s it.

As of right now, I just installed the 0.0.2.3 version and have not played it yet.

Four hours in, can I recommend the game? Yeah. It has a low price, and it is filled to the brim with potential in my eyes.

I can see the workshop being used a lot for this game, and if given enough freedom and creativity, I can see some really awesome things coming from this game.

However right now, all the jokes you see about having low frames is true. Game lags hard. Especially when you’re doing what you’d want to do in this game; make battle scenarios and play. It honestly is pretty bad. But this game is still very early in its development, so I can imagine a performance patch will be in the works.

This is a great game but it can be even greater there are a few things that need to be fixed and alot to be added the creators need to fix the healing system as when ur controlling a character u can not heal it and when ur not controling a character u can not heal it so. With the maps the comands and flags need to be fixed. If u want this to be a great game creators u need to add multiplayer, melee, more maps, a steam workshop, being able to go prone, more missions even a campain, more styles guns ect, and u need to add more comands like to make charecters fly and every enemy player to target one man and if a player kills there teamates than the whole team should kill the traitor. I understand this game is in its beta and for its beta its amazing this game could become one of the best games ever just depands on what the creators do with it. All together definetly recomend this game.
