Alpaca Ball: Allstars

Alpaca Ball: Allstars

Nice little indie gem with good core gameplay. It was designed with controller in mind. Playing with keyboard is possible but lacks precision in both movement and striking the ball. Has various arenas and ball types, but the single-player campaign is very short. I can only recommend to buy this one if you plan to play a lot of local co-op or during a deep sale. Online Multiplayer would be an awesome addition to the game that can justify the current full price.

I could not see where my first two hours of this game just vanished.

Super fun and super enjoyable.

Devs, if you are reading it, please consider an online mode with leadership table and other stuff. This would definitely motivate people to stick with the game and to look forward to any addons and different events.

I used to play FreeStyleFootball and this game has a lot of similarities with FSF. I would love to see more people playing this game. It has 1m+ downloads on mobile but it is free there. With a little bit advertising, it would be so much fun.

It has a lot of potential.

Visually it is great.

Movement and animations feel a bit weird/slow at times, it can surely be improved on that part.

So far they’ve put 5 characters (there are much more on the mobile game).

There are very few players for now but you can also play with bots.

No Fair Play

No Fair Play

An anti-game :

No Fair Play is a trash Futsal where you can beat your opponents using nonstandard way.

A member of the opposing team has a good dribbling skills ? Aim for the legs !

No Fair Play is probably the only competitive game where you can still have fun while loosing.

Based on physics :

Ragdolls, ball control, player interactions … physics gives players more opportunities to have fun with unexpected situations.

Intuitive gameplay :

Simple controls, simple rules, just focus on having fun with your friends.

About me :

I’m just a self-taught developer, maybe more a gamer, who uses all help he could find on internet for this game. I would like to thank all these people for giving me this opportunity.

Links E6

Enjoy that this is basically the old LInks game. I prefer the 3-click to mouse movement for golf games and don’t care about ability to control ball movement / spin after shot. I don’t have issues with speed / flow of swing meter). I like the simplicity, but, wish there was an avatar and ability to select different clubs in the bag (swap 4 hybrid for 3-iron, etc). I miss the commentary during play (Nice shot!, Great Eagle!, etc,.). Would like to see other E6 golf courses other than the current selections. Thought that the graphics could have been a bit better, but, that may be due to reusing old scans. Others have had issues getting the game to play or crashing during the game - I have not experienced any of those issues, but, I’m playing a relatively new, modest gaming PC (i5-10400 - 16GB RAM, NVME SSD, 1660 Super 6GB video card) running Windows 10 21H1. Did not expect it to be a free game which was nice, of couse, the additional course packs extra, but, reasonably priced.

First impression review. Let me preface this by saying I am not a tourney or group player. Strictly a come home after work and play a relaxing round of PC golf type of player. I have been playing Links series 2 click and 3 click for years. Don’t care for true swing type golf games. That being said I loaded this up and headed to the Range. No adjustments, all default settings. Hit about a 100 shots and I have to agree with the folks about a swing model flaw. In the first 15 minutes I completely duffed the ball about 50% of the time. Okay, need to practice. After 30 minutes I had that down to about 15% of the time. Better, but after 43 minutes I still duffed the ball around 10-15% of the time and did not see myself improving and I had to concentrate so intently on trying to hit the swing marks I was getting a headache. At this point I could not imagine playing a round without duffing the ball 4-6 times. Not fun and not to realistic for an experienced golfer. The swing formula is very unforgiving. If you over swing at all to get power the down swing is so fast you duff the ball most of the time. In earlier Links games an over swing would result in a nasty hook or slice, in E6 you duff the ball. In fact I found that I rarely hooked or sliced at all and when I did they were mild, right on the edge of the rough. Which brings up another flaw in that whether I hooked, sliced or hit straight many of the balls were going to the exact same spot, not to realistic. UPDATE: After 2 hours of play and playing 36 holes, the game is playable but I stand by my unforgiving swing comment. I can get pars and birdies but I completely duff the ball 4-5 times per 9 holes. You can use mulligans for those but it takes away from the realism and feels like cheating. Other observations are that the auto caddie makes things pretty easy and all that’s left is the clicking. Also auto caddie was not always accurate especially on chipping and made putting too easy. I made too many 50ft + putts. Also as someone else mentioned, the environment is a little sterile. You have birds and wind but no clapping or comments. Last, really irritating to have to log in and enter a password for solo play, I wish there was an offline component. Overall game can be fun with practice.

actually really fun. the first person really suprised me i wasnt expecting it to be so nice. i think vert needs alot of work but the game is pretty fun.

8/10 needs more work and tricks but still very fun and worth the money

If I am going to give an honest review of the game.

I would have to say that the physics for transition and everything else, isn’t as good as another game called “SCOOT”. The game feels very slow and doesn’t have game audio. The animations itself don’t have a good feeling to them and there is no mechanic to help with the landing after flipping.

I would give this game a 4/5 as it isn’t as realistic compared to SCOOT
