Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout

Day 6 of not being able to play:

I’ve been in contact with both Mediatonic and Epic.

Surprisingly, Epic has been helping me the most with my issue thus far.

Mediatonic hasn’t replied in a few days (since telling me my problem was resolved…lol).

Every time I try to load the game since Season 6, EOS Update comes up.

Every time it fails (seems like it times out? but I have the 249MB app?).

Error Code: EOS-SU-IH-MCP-BI-3

I’ve reinstalled Fall Guys the Epic Launcher at least 5 times.

Reinstalled the Online Services multiple times.

Mediatonic, I don’t know what you were/are thinking about this…

I bought this game on Steam to play it on Steam. I don’t like EPIC. Neither its platform, nor its philosophy as a company. That is why I have never been interested in having an account at EPIC. And I will never do one because I am not interested in them.

I centralize all my games on STEAM. (I hate the need that all companies want to impose on us to have to use a thousand different platforms on my computer in order to play their games.) And since I bought Fall Guys in November of last year 2021, I have played an average of 20-40 minutes daily.

Played Among Us for a long time, but this game is really something fresh!

All players look like you, but some of them may transform into a Zombie and kill everybody else! You have to cooperate to eliminate this Bitten player.

Absolutely love special powers (like fireball or scanner to check who is the traitor).

IT IS ALSO FUN TO PLAY AFTER DEATH! You become a zombie and can recruit other zombies to coordinate your attacks!

Can’t wait for more modes!

10/10 for listening to users

8/10 for gameplay.

This is such a fun and chill game! It doesn’t get boring or repetitive since there are so many maps to choose from and characters to play as. The map editor is really cool, too! The art is adorable and the music is enjoyable. I’m really looking forward to getting some friends playing and trying out multiplayer. I could definitely see this being a go-to party game!

Republic of Jungle

Republic of Jungle

In Republic of Jungle, 5- 10 players role-play as the advisors of President Puma. His Loyalists try to form commissions to deal with scandals, but a few Leakers among them are trying to sneak into commissions and leak the scandals to Fiona Fox.

**Who do you trust to put on your commission?

How do you convince others you are not a Leaker?**

Running party games can be hard.

Rulebooks, long setups, and your friends' attention deficit doesn’t help.

With Republic of Jungle, you can get games started quickly and let the game handle all the moderation. We make it easy to join, get going, and learn as you play. The guided experience makes the game accessible to players of all skill levels. The novel mechanics add a new depth of skills to master. The continuous action creates a more immersive, intuitive and dynamic social deduction experience.

We make information easy to digest and distribute, so you can focus on making interesting gameplay decisions. This helps new players to learn faster, and helps experienced players to act faster. So, a wide range of people with different skill levels can enjoy the game.

  • Beware of special powers and take advantage of Loyalists mistakes

Do you love social deduction games like Mafia, Werewolf, The Resistance and Secret Hitler? We do too! But we noticed some shortcomings in the genre. They are sometimes hard to set up and inconvenient to play. Some games need too much room or a big table, some require a moderator with godlike precision, some require to close your eyes for minutes, and quite often the game is ruined because someone forgot to do their part correctly or a newbie player asked the wrong question and revealed their secret. We have built Republic of Jungle to address to these issues and distill the fun of social deduction games into a more enjoyable and convenient experience. Inspired by Jackbox Games, we have built a platform where players can use their smartphones (or any device with a browser) to play the game. This way, the game does all the moderation for you, guides the players throughout the game and adds a fun narrative on top. More importantly, we have unique mechanics specific to this platform because they are almost impossible to implement in a traditional tabletop setting.

Roll a Ball With Your Friends

Roll a Ball With Your Friends

My only gripe with the game is that there is a small amount of maps. But even then, it’s a lot of fun for 2-3$, and surprisingly challenging. If they could implement workshop maps for this game it would be 10/10. Regardless, definitely recommend with some friends.

There was initially some issues with the multiplayer, but the devs have addressed this! I will leave my original review below but it is now outdated.

=============== Original review (outdated): ===============

Was very fun with 3 people but was broken when we tried with 6 people. With 6 people, as soon as we loaded into the 2nd level of a map, it would show a black screen and say “Now Loading…” except for the match host. Everyone could move, but not see anything. We tried twice after each re-launching our game. I couldn’t find anywhere to report a bug so I’m writing this here in hopes that they fix the multiplayer.

Really fun game to play with some pals, well worth the price of admission :) My favourite stages were the ones with boxes you had to push around to reach higher ledges, and the slalom-y, high speed stunts and ramps in the City levels. Also, the title music is amazing!

Some features that could be really nice:

  • I would have liked to be able to customize my ball without having to leave the game lobby. (So we don’t have to leave a session to check out unlocked skins)

  • It would be really nice if players who completed the level could spectate other players!

If you love hanging around with your friends and poking fun this is the best game! Even those who were nervous or considered themselves sweethearts got hooked on this idea and ran with it even harder than the rest of us. Somehow instead of destroying friendships we actually created some solid bonds! Can we deem this Roast Therapy ?

I never laughed so much at a game like this one, it’s quite amazing to see some prompts & pictures work really well each other along with some of the answers written down by the players, hope to see more games from these developers!

Sticky table, you are a table from IKEA. I’m a gangster from Italy. Are you sure you want to stack with me? Listen, Sticky table, I will do a home invasion on you. I will unscrew your legs and the next thing you’ll hear is me stacking on top of you with a pair of trampolines I bought in the back of the Pixel Conflict Magazine . I’ll wipe the glue off your surface, take a picture of you not sticking me down and blocking my jumps. I will post said picture to stupid tables from ikea forum, password NOT REQUIRED, username, NOT REQUIRED.
