A Gummy’s Life
If the only thing they did was a carbon-copy remake of Gang Beasts with just a ‘splatter’ like they have for the punches, it would have been worth at least a dollar. There was that, and so much more, and my kids (7 & 10) absolutely loved it!
I find it way less boring than gang beasts with all the bot options and the much, much more interactive environments. Matches rarely last more than 1 1/2 minutes. A+.
Some comments from the children –- “I like that there’s more ways to die.”
Some comments from Dad — “I like that there’s bots out the wazoo, and that way I don’t have to pick one of the two children to go after and end up falling off the edge holding them.”

This is a very entertaining game, from the ragdoll physics to beating up your friends. However, it isn’t for everyone, and has major problems.
While I would still recommend the game, the game is not without flaws, which I think many wouldn’t be able to overlook. Most notably would be the large amount of bugs and glitches. Many maps have areas the players can climb out of, instantly killing them. Others have environmental backdrops the players can clip through. There are also many physics-based problems that could potentially throw someone off the map and ruin their experience. However, many of these glitches are funny enough to not cause any frustration.

Floody
Cute hand painted visuals and a very interesting platform battle mechanic. This game is great to try out for a game night with a couple of friends! Basically you try to build up and try to keep your friends below where the encroaching waves kill those too slow. There’s multiple items you can get and use to change the platforms and hinder your opponents.
An in-game tutorial is lacking but you can just watch the 2nd video on the store page for a tutorial with some good tips for advance gameplay.

Hive Mind
This is a fun party game to play with your friends and family! The music is really well done and fits the theme well. The bee outfits are very creative and well designed. The user interface is very simple and it is really easy to set up or join a game. I had a lot of fun playing a few games of this and I am looking forward to playing more!

A fun, hectic game suitable for all play styles thanks to the level/difficulty design. Hard levels really are hard. Might also cause some minor rage bursts (you’ll know when you eg. accidentally take off or without anything to carry)…
-
Great solo, but even better with others. The feeling of a busy hive is best experienced when playing with someone. The new pvp mode is a fun addition.
-
Cuteness & customization. Also the little details, like how the bees “smile” when meeting each other.

FROG X BIRD
Once upon a time a frog
Croaked away in Bingle Bog
Every night from dusk to dawn
He croaked awn and awn and awn
Other creatures loathed his voice,
But, alas, they had no choice,
And the crass cacophony
Blared out from the sumac tree
At whose foot the frog each night
Minstrelled on till morning night
Neither stones nor prayers nor sticks.
Insults or complaints or bricks
Stilled the frogs determination
To display his heart’s elation.
But one night a nightingale
In the moonlight cold and pale

This game is EPIC fun. Brings back the old Joust days with a modern twist. I used this as a party game and we ended up playing for hours. Get 4 controllers and challenge your friends.
the basketball mode is incredible. Get the ball through the rings, so simple yet so challenging when youre friends are trying to hijack you.
I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in local gameplay and connecting with friends.

The Otterman Empire
I found this game lots of fun to play, especially with a few friends.
The game is simple enough to learn which makes it great for a quick party game.
The visuals are pleasing to look at with several cool locations and a selection of quirky and unique characters (including a few non-otters) to pick from, my favourite being the otter “Lyra”.
Each character has their own abilities and attacks to keep gameplay feeling fresh, some abilities are really cool like “Noah” who bombards a target are with fish. Its all very fun.

I’ve been following this game for a couple of years now and had the pleasure of playing it at different stages throughout it’s development at events organised by the creators, so it’s great to see it released! It’s great to be playing it at home! Now I just need to make some friends and for C19 to disappear so I can enjoy the local multiplayer to it’s fullest!
I’ve not played any split-screen multiplayer since buying it, but that’s mainly because of what I just said, and because I already know that part of the game is awesome! No doubt I’ll be playing some split-screen soon though! I just needed to get some practice in before playing against the girlfriend. I’d never hear the end of it if she beat me :P

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout
Day 6 of not being able to play:
I’ve been in contact with both Mediatonic and Epic.
Surprisingly, Epic has been helping me the most with my issue thus far.
Mediatonic hasn’t replied in a few days (since telling me my problem was resolved…lol).
Every time I try to load the game since Season 6, EOS Update comes up.
Every time it fails (seems like it times out? but I have the 249MB app?).
Error Code: EOS-SU-IH-MCP-BI-3
I’ve reinstalled Fall Guys the Epic Launcher at least 5 times.
Reinstalled the Online Services multiple times.

Mediatonic, I don’t know what you were/are thinking about this…
I bought this game on Steam to play it on Steam. I don’t like EPIC. Neither its platform, nor its philosophy as a company. That is why I have never been interested in having an account at EPIC. And I will never do one because I am not interested in them.
I centralize all my games on STEAM. (I hate the need that all companies want to impose on us to have to use a thousand different platforms on my computer in order to play their games.) And since I bought Fall Guys in November of last year 2021, I have played an average of 20-40 minutes daily.

Lumberhill
Super fun family games with kids and local coop, best at 3 and 4 local players. Fun to play, easy to play, commands are fine (who ever complains about commands “not being easy” or “hard to figure out” must be playing with their keyboard and never played local coop games as they all tends to be similar. We like this a bit less then Unspottable (our favourite local coop game), but we like Lumberhill more then Boomerang Fu and tons more then Cake Bash. It’s easy to pick up and many game modes and many levels.

A fun campaign/co-op. Multiplayer is very difficult for the human worker. My brother and I can hardly complete any quests with the animal player actively working against you.

Bonkies
I played this game some while it was in Early Access but waited to play the rest and to review for once it was fully out.
Bonkies is a great couch co-op game that has a great visual style and is a ton of fun. Everyone that I’ve played it with has had a great time. My girlfriend who is not much of a gamer loves it. It’s worked great with Steam’s remote play to play co-op online with other friends.
Even though the single player campaign is definitely not the game’s focus, and it is admittedly short (it took me an hour to Ace it, but new players probably 3-4 hours), I had a great time player the single player campaign as well.

About the game:
Well, the gameplay is pretty simple. Every of the (up to) 4 players is playing one space monkey. Their task is to construct certain “buildings” in a limited time (usually around 3-5 minutes). Unfortunately these space monkeys have a heavy handycap: they all have only one arm. (Not sure who let them be in charge of the construction site but that’s another question).
The game mechanics rely on 50% communication with the other players (since you can’t lift objects very well on yourself alone) telling them where to move, what to do next. The other half is actually some creativity since it’s not always clear how to build these desired objects. You only get a shape of what’s expected and are left alone trying (or imagining) how it fits best.
