Viking Trickshot

Viking Trickshot

This is the only video game my wife will play with me, and we always have a great time when we come back to it every few months. It’s a fun little game, especially two player, and has a ton of occasional replayability.

I’ve only touched the single player, and it’s surprisingly fun in short bursts. I plan on coming back to this again and again to gold medal each level and can definitely see myself getting the family involved in some baton-lobbing battles

Very fun Game for an evening with friends. The game is multiplayer only though but at that it succeeds quite well I think.

The artstyle and music are both very refreshing and fun.

Through steam remote play even online play is possible and functional.

I love this game!

Already played the Warm-Up before.

Pros:

  • Great Music

  • Great Artstyle

  • Fast paste game

  • Lost me a lot of my nerves playing against friends

Cons:

-“only” Local Multiplayer (Steam remote play can be used to combat that)

  • no Computer Enemy / Shooting Range to practice

Great to play in between to have some fun.

Perfect as a Party game.

I would recommend this game!

Happy Boomerang throwing!

UPDATED REVIEW after more then 44 hours of game-play always with 3 or 4 players.

PERFECT FAMILY SETTING GAME, for kids and adults.

Surprisingly BEST FUN family game with more replay-ability then our others “family party games”, there is almost no “take that” feeling, since the receiver doesn’t know who, and often, you think you might of git someone, but it could be someone else.

It’s sneaky, smart and has a well polished game-play and it’s impossible to “target” someone else since your just trying to figure out where someone else is, so unlike Cake Bash and most family games, it allows you to hit anyone and no ones, not even kids are upset since no one knows (expect for the one who commits it) who did what. Only after the map is completed (1 min to 2 min average) everyone sees who punched who and then it’s right into the next map.

Played the demo and immediately bought the game afterward. It’s extremely fun to play and works like a charm with Steam Remote Play. I’m about 7 hours into the game and so far replay-ability has been great! Expert mode is a fun new way to play the levels and it’s always a blast trying to find out who your friends are. Once everyone starts to learn the mechanics and get really good, it can actually take several minutes to find out who is who.

My only downside to this game is that at the current state of the game, character selection is kind of pointless. During levels everyone is the same random character, with the one you choose being visible only during the lobby screen between levels. I think a great addition to this game would be a level where all of the people you’re playing with are on the level and you have to blend in, but have to use your memory of the other characters your friends chose to try and find them!

A good shitty game. 10/10 would wipe again.

Although this is meant to be a fun and casual brawl between friends, you’d be surprised at how quick your friends are to shit on you.

Stack Up! (or dive trying)

Sticky table, you are a table from IKEA. I’m a gangster from Italy. Are you sure you want to stack with me? Listen, Sticky table, I will do a home invasion on you. I will unscrew your legs and the next thing you’ll hear is me stacking on top of you with a pair of trampolines I bought in the back of the Pixel Conflict Magazine . I’ll wipe the glue off your surface, take a picture of you not sticking me down and blocking my jumps. I will post said picture to stupid tables from ikea forum, password NOT REQUIRED, username, NOT REQUIRED.

Metal Heads

Metal Heads

I’ve been helping out with testing the game (the online multiplayer) for well over a year now and i have seen a lot of improvements with it so far and it has come a long way since Pax Aus 2019.

The game itself is great fun online (yes there are issues but it is early access and what early access game doesn’t have issues) and even better when playing locally with friends. There are plenty of mini-games to play as well as a bored game mode that allows you to place items on the map to hinder others or yourself if you aren’t careful. The game has a solo Dev and Andy Gillion working on the music for the game.

The game was for a year on my steam-wishlist, and now it’s released. Yeah, it is buggy … but what else do you expect for a Early Access game? The minigames are really funny, and the game has many potential to be the next big party game. So buy it and support the developer behind the game, so that he can fulfill his vision of the game.

Furthermore he is active on Discord, in contrast to another game in this genre on steam, where the devs are lost, lol.

VR needs more games like this!! This has been fun so far – played mostly with online friends, but planning to bring it out at game nights in the near future (seems like it’ll be better in-person actually – there’s a spectator mode if you want to run it on a shared screen).

Hoping for more VR party games like this in the future :)

Oh this is such a fun game, an awesome party game, particularly ideal in the pandemic because you don’t really need to be in the same room to enjoy it. it’s like charades in VR with a few other added things. It’s got cute characters and ways for people to suggest ideas for the “artist”. I never get over the amazing experience of 3d drawing in VR so naturally I can spend hours on this game. I would love more brushes and colors, I want to draw Mona Lisa in that two minute time :D (there is a Mona Lisa painting hanging on one of the walls too).

Slaughter League

Slaughter League

Slaughter League is a fast-paced multiplayer extravaganza that will pit you against up to 10 friends (or enemies!) in a daring race to the finish line. Will your skills measure up and help you take first place? Run as fast as you can (just watch out for those Tesla coils), jump as high as possible (but avoid the buzzsaws, of course), and slide your way to victory while dodging any spikes along the way. Now hurry, we need more lambs to the slaughter!

Along with a single-player campaign, Slaughter League features three core multiplayer modes. First is the classic race mode, where you can face off to see who can complete the course fastest, either in a single race or a series. Next is Outlast, where you’ll need to keep up with the randomized course as it moves along and try to be the last person standing. Finally there is Zombie mode, where an infected player attempts to zombify the rest of the competition and the last one alive (or at least, not undead) wins the round. After trying each mode, take a break from the competition and try out the stage builder before unleashing your twisted creations upon others!

  • Absurd Ragdoll Death Animations and World-Class Commentary – Being brutally slaughtered has never been this fun before!

  • Story Mode – Featuring 25+ thrilling levels!

  • Three Core Multiplayer Modes – Race, Zombies, and Outlast, each featuring a variety of maps and customization options for never-ending, blood-splattered fun!

  • 100’s of Unique Cosmetic Items – With nine different clothing slots, tattoos, and more to select options for, players have no shortage of ways to express their personality and individual flair!

  • Exciting Locations for Courses – Race on the Moon, in a volcano, deep in the jungle, or opt for the classic “Stadium of Death” setting!

  • 25+ Deadly Traps – Guaranteed to slice, dice, batter, splatter, shock and maim you and your fellow competitors!

  • Fully-Featured Stage Builder – Build and share your own courses with other players; You’ll never get bored with the course options available!

  • Fantastic set of Achievements – Can you earn them all?
