Gladio
Gladio has a satisfying gore mechanic and unique fighting system. The game does have its issues though, blocking sometimes does not activate at all and kicking sends enemies through the map or past the invisible wall where I cannot reach them, forcing me to restart. Overall this game is a blast and it will surely develop further into an awesome game in the future, but for now you should avoid kicking!
Recommendations:
-More weapons and maybe a shield
-The ability to mix and match armor
-The option to choose which enemies spawn

When first looking at Gladio one might think it is a tiny fighting game with with no real ingame progress and attacks that could seriously use some work. You would not be wrong. The player is in a small-ish box and has to fight enemies, the only progress is watching the wave counter go up, and attacks can seem quite stupid at times.
Still, this game can be a lot of fun when you lack something to do. Add some bounce or whatever music floats your boat (the game has no soundtrack), and you are in for half an hour of adrenaline while trying to crack that level 3 armor.

Blade Symphony
Alrighty, its about time edit my review from a long time ago. But first some things I wish to point out.
-
After 900 hours I can be a little biased in favor of this game
-
This is not a game where a person with 1 hour should be reviewing, this game takes much more time to understand and any reviews from these people should be ignored, if you like it or not.
Blade Symphony, released May 7, 2014 by Puny Human Games. This is a game that without a doubt I am addicted too, though idk if that is good or bad, probably bad. From my first day on Blade Symphony spamming with Jian Ryoku, to becoming almost top tier, my journey has been wonderful. I have met tons of people, most of them on my steam friends list and I dont regret anything. Though I feel like im a rare case, for many many players have stopped playing for multiple reasons that ill get too in second.

I have 400 hours aprx. I’ve been with this game for 2 years through thick or thin. This is part review, part history.
tl:dr This isn’t what it used to be. The playerpase is small, but its very tight knit. It’s the kind of community where everyone know’s everyone by name. The gameplay itself is wonky but often fun when you get it right. The learning curve is a brick wall. You’re going to lose a lot when you start. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Almost everyone in master rank would be more than pleased to take you udner their wing, all you have to do is ask.

Lugaru HD
Even if you don’t read any more of this review, just read the next sentence. The GAMEPLAY of this game is INCREDIBLE.
Lugaru is pretty much my favourite game. I was gifted it in Humble Bundle 2 and I spent at least thirty hours playing it before I added it to Steam. The combat is absolutely awesome and I keep finding little tricks and moves I had no idea about even after playing 25+ hours, like spinning and throwing a weapon at the same time. The campaign is pretty straightforward but the challenge levels are where I’ve spent the largest amount of time. Because the gameplay is so excellent, I keep coming back again and again and again because it’s so much fun. The hand-to-hand combat requires different strategies depending on whether you’re facing off against a rabbit (easier) or a wolf (harder) and the weapons are a lot of fun.

(I tried to make this as spoiler free as I could while still expressing my recommendation)
Lugaru is honestly one of the best and most powerful games I have ever played. Believe it or not, I actually fell in love with Lugaru for it’s story primarily, aswell as it’s music, and it’s gorgeous visuals. This will come as a surprise to many I’m sure because Lugaru is famous for it’s excellent combat system, and make no mistake it’s combat system is the main focus of the game and the main draw for the most part, and for good reason. The combat system is fantastically complex all while using a grand total of about 7 buttons to control the character and the combat is wonderful.

NARAKA: BLADEPOINT
Holy sht this game is fun. During a clash, You breath, you lose. Each weapon and each hero have counters either trough positioning/witty timings/picking or utilizing other weapons.
Do not believe to what people say that X is broken/OP. Everything have a workaround specially if your’e skilled on wits and proper positioning. You panic, you lose. Do not panic. I cant count how many times i managed to turn the tables on a fight and it felt so satisfying.
Pros:
1. Unlimited combo possibilities to the point you get your own combo personality
– Real player with 439.4 hrs in game
great game.
i would prefer if everyone would deal a bit less damage to make the fights last longer…
Espacially a few weapons. But the new duo mode feels way better than trios. You can fight 2 people but 3 was just to hard in my opinion.
I played the game for over 200h now and i don’t understand why people say the queue times are long. A few seconds up to a few minutes if it’s early in the morning or late at night.
And why are people complaining about asian players in the reviews? It’s literary almost the same as playing agains people from EU or NA.

Assassin’s Creed Freedom Cry
This review is for those who actually have played Assassins Creed Black Flag. If you do not have it I suggest you buy it at a sale because the main game will be cheaper than the dlc since the price is only slightly higher but the overall content is more aswell.
I own Assassins Creed on XBox 360 and the game simply is breathtaking with the easy to learn gameplay, the open world features and the good and atmospheric music. The story however was a little short and Freedom Cry as a dlc is of course even shorter. Most players suggest an average gametime of only 4-6 hours. However it took me about 20 Hours to discover all the places unlock everything and tried the minigames like fishing. (They are the same as in Black Flag though)
– Real player with 25.4 hrs in game
The very first mission of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag’s story DLC Freedom Cry is not only its finest, it’s also an excellent summary of what made the original game good. We’re tasked with retrieving a package from a Templar admiral aboard his ship. To do this we either board the ship, kill the admiral, and take the package or sink the ship and then dive into the wreckage and retrieve the goods. Giving the player options is what the franchise is supposedly all about, so it’s a shame that the rest of it fails to live up to any of what made Black Flag fun.

Shadow Warrior 2
After 3 years since the remake of Shadow Warrior the developers released a second title that continues the story. Though it is not a large span of time, it is big enough to fix the problems of the original and improve its weak points to create a true full-fledged sequel. However, instead of this obvious option, the developers decided to totally change the games mechanics and gameplay, going away from classical single player shooter to some multiplayer-ish looter shooter aka progression for the sake of progression. Did they succeed? Well, sort of.
