PANZER BALL
Great game. Movement feels smooth, online is easy to use (no private lobbies atm), and a map creator is in the works. Active discord run by the dev who is involved with the community.
It has some physics quirks. Sometimes you hit the ground, bounce strangely and lose all speed. Your fps has a slight effect on how your ball interacts with the map (e.g. 60 fps feels a little slippery for me, but 144 is fine), though in my experience one can do perfectly fine competing for top times at 144. These issues generally don’t affect gameplay too much.

This game should not cost money. I was lucky enough to experience this game when it was free. I wish the developer kept going with this game, it had a community, and it had so much potential. When the editor was released it was amazing, that momentum could have kept the game growing. Instead of the game costing money, there should be skins or a way to donate to the developer. Featured levels, weekly levels, gauntlets, time challenges, this game has so much potential, it’s sad to see the developer ignore it. If this game was still free I would fully recommend it, but I just cant recommend as of now.

Bunny Hop League
This game needs a lot of work, it has a lot of little things that would improve it a lot.
However, the game as it stands is well worth its price for anyone, no matter if youve bhoped before or not imo.
-Leaderboard
Global, Friends, Local
-Better server system
Allow the person who created the lobby to change the map without kicking everyone, maybe some other custom options
-Styles
It would be nice to see some of the other styles within bhoping such as Half-sideways, Sideways, W-only + others. Of course with a separate record for each style.

Bunny Hop League is a game focusing on bhop, ramping and sliding. All 3 game modes are challenging, fun and there are a handful of maps to choose from. If you have played bhop in games like Counter Strike, you should know how it works.
The controls are fluid and feels responsive enough to let you feel that you have the control you need to success. Bunny Hop League runs great on my PC and the FPS is always high. Remember to have “raw mouse input” off to get more frames. Overall it’s a fun game but it can be annoying sometimes. That’s because when you bhop you feel very light instead of heavy as in Counter Strike bhop. You miss a lot of tiles since the lightness of your body makes it harder to calculate where you should land. The maps are well crafted where some are easy, some are hard and some are longer than other maps. The map design feels simple where it’s easy to navigate the layout when you are jumping at full speed.

Celaria
I got this game almost right as it came out because it looks liked a good mirror edge replacement.
What i got was a very difficult game that i’m surprised no one was playing. steam has reported at most 14 people have played at once as of (10/26/2019), this makes me sad because it’s a amazing game for what it is
Pros:
A great selection of maps to try and beat, then find the hidden items, and then to try to get the fastest speed.
Great, simple, intuitive mechanics. at first they seem slippery but after a hour they make the game feel fast and fluid. hell the wall jumping just feels great to dude.

This is a great little game. The music is great, the gameplay is slick and smooth, and wonderfully engaging and rewarding. Leaderboards and multiplayer for those interested. I’m not really a speedrunner type of gamer but this game is designed solely for it and it shines because of it.
There’s also a few platforming puzzles/challenges on some levels to get red orbs. I think what really made this game click for me was that using the freecam to spy one of the harder looking orbs, I saw the area the developer wanted us to take but couldn’t make the heads and tails of approaching or tackling it. Instead I just decided to run straight through and figurtively saw the path unravel before it, between walls and jumps and using the mechanics seamlessly. It was immensely satisfying picking out a relatively efficient, logical path from seemingly nothing instead of having it laid out in front of you.

I cannot seem to complete the 3rd level. Even after doing the balancing part, the instrucions still show on screen. My theory is that it’s a bug from the recent hotfix on June 13th. Otherwise a very solid game.

Running Rogue
Our hero is a thief who flirted with death and stole one of her most powerful artifacts - time gloves. Failing to cope with their power, the thief finds himself in a dungeon of souls. Determined, he climbs the tower to give battle to death and recover his humanity!
Freedom of Movement
At each level, you decide for yourself how you act. You’ll run away beating up enemies or find detours and take advantage of your surroundings. Scramble on ledges, run through walls, slide on the floor and jump!
Dynamic Battles
You move fast, and your attacks and block are instant. A variety of enemies will check your reaction and will not let you stand still.
Time - Life!
The faster you pass the level and deal with the enemies the more health you can make up for.
Plenty of Abilities and Improvements
Pass through levels, defeat bosses to get the chance to choose from a variety of random improvements. Choose what you need now. Restore health, increase attack strength or improve your parkour skills. After another death, discover new upgrades and abilities that will make you stronger each time and bring you closer to the top of the tower and to defeating death!
Random Levels
The levels are generated randomly. Each passing will differ from the previous one. You will never know what enemies, obstacles and traps will be waiting for you in the next room.
Three Parts of the Tower
The tower is divided into three parts: Dungeon, Limb and Gardens.
Each part of the tower differs in its visual style, obstacles, set of enemies and bosses.
Only the most resourceful and skillful will deceive death!
Vector
Now don’t mistake my vote for a No as a recommendation speak for the game, I actually personally liked it but there is some problems to me that it got my vote and reasons for it which I’ll mention.
First off I’m gonna point out this game is as you can tell by clips on youtube or even trailer on steam that it’s a 2D side scroller runner, that’s good no problem. But the thing it doesn’t point out in trailer or store description that it’s an entire set route for each level. I unknowingly bought this game thinking I go through each level any direction I want to go to get to end, but for the most points and even money to buy tricks you have to always take the route that follows the points basically leaving me with idea it’s just a memorize learn it by heart to do it right kind of game instead of idea I had when I bought it. Enemy chaser is quite a skilled runner himself and he takes same path himself so if you diverge to explore the map that has more obstacles and that actually peaks your interest he will quickly catch up or even get ahead of you giving you game over and having to restart ALL way to the beginning which removes your intention of exploring the level and it gets repetetive and honetsly quite boring from going the same route over and over just to get all points and cash and to always keep ahead of guard just to even beat the level.

Exposition, Concurrence and Summation
Vector is a runner. It’s more puzzle and timing based than reaction speed. After the initial run that is; the opening cut-scene informs you of a world not dissimilar to a cyberpunk style “1984”. It’s essentially a 2D Mirror’s Edge.

ColorBlend FX: Desaturation Prologue
I’ve played puzzler platformers and I’ve played puzzlers based around colours, but Color Blend FX is looking to combine those and expand it across an expansive Metroidvania with a story to boot. This prologue is a very strong proof of concept.
In terms of an MV game you’re only getting one movement upgrade, but if you’re skeptical about the basics this prologue should have you setting your doubts aside.

Super fun game and I like the puzzles which are not overly challenging. Great concept for a game which I have never seen. The game runs very smooth and I really look forward to the full game if there is one.

CubeParkour
This game is extremely nerve-racking on the one hand, but on the other hand also entertaining. It’s fun until you reach a level where you can’t get any further. If you manage it at some point, whether due to the experience gained through previous fails within the level, by chance or luck: you are happy endlessly. Absolutely recommended pastime for in-between. But be careful, can be very addictive :D

If i would describe this game with on word it would be “Feelings” because you experience them all, from frustration to relief, anger to happiness and hopelessness to hope.
Extremely addicting with fast paced fun, highly recommended!

Edit 2: Last review was at 160ish hours…I am now at 280. This game is just amazing, and the community in the Discord just brings it all together. The devs are super active and there is a major update coming very soon! It’s going to make this already amazing game even better.
Edit: Uhhhhhhhh yeah it’s a really good game guys. I’ve only put a small amount of time in it since my original review…Which was about 16 hours in.
Such a smooth platformer. Simple to learn but hard to master type game. If you liked games like Cluster Truck, Mirrors edge or any other 3D platformer, you’ll love this. It really itches that scratch for a fast paced platformer.

Downward
There are some very good things about this game, but the bottom line is that I cannot recommend it to anyone.
The best thing about Downward, and what made me want to play it in the first place, is the explorable world, which opens up to you more and more as you gain certain abilities (the Metroidvania genre). This promise is essentially fulfilled, with plenty of environmental challenges in many carefully crafted levels. It’s wonderful to discover a new area, or to go back to an area you visited a while ago only to find new delights and secrets available to you.

File under: surprisingly great first person open world platforming/exploration game.
There’s been some sort of disaster brought about by the arrival of three planets. Almost everyone’s been wiped out, but this isn’t the type of apocalypse that makes everything look brown. In fact, once you appear out of nowhere, one of the first places you get to is downright paradisiacal.
The land you’ll get to wander around in is divided into large, intricately designed areas, all beautifully rendered and most of them boasting a great eye for verticality. Your next goal is always marked, but you’re free (and encouraged!) to go off-track chasing the thousands of collectibles littered everywhere. You could just chase the objective marker, but then you’d miss out a ton of places and most of the fun the game has to offer.
