POSTAL 2

POSTAL 2

Postal 2 gives you the freedom to carry out seemingly simple tasks however you see fit. I recently had a task where I had to cash a check into the bank. Simple, right? Well the line for the bank teller was a bit too long and I wasn’t in the waiting mood, so I decided to take a shortcut by dumping cans of napalm all over the bank lobby and robbing the bank as it burned down.

There are a lot of side things you can do for a game about getting Gary Coleman’s autograph. Personally, my favorite thing was standing in line for Gary’s signature.

I strongly suggest not purchasing Prototype 2. Yes, it was fun. Yes, it was marginally well-designed. But over-all, the first one was much, much better. I’ll explain why, and you can decide for yourself if my issues are overriding factors for you:

1. Graphics

Prototype 2 wins. I’ll give it that. It’s gorgeous. Poorly optimised, so you’re gonna get a crap framerate, but it’s gorgeous.

2. Control scheme

Prototype 1 takes the gold there. P1’s controls are well-mapped by default and make sense once you become aquainted with them. P2 changes some core controls for no reason, and because of the way they’re set up, rebinding them will not help.

Road Rage

Road Rage

I don’t honestly believe this game should get all of the hate that it does. Certainly not a perfect game, it still has its silly fun. The story is a bit out there at times, the voice acting ranges from decent to truly suspect and the odd glitches can be hilarious (hitting a pedestrian can sometimes send you into into the 1200+mph range). That said, I tend to rate games on whether I am having fun or not and this game really didn’t fail to be entertaining at some level. The soundtrack is fun and the game won’t take long to 100% if that is your thing (though the last 2 achievements of hitting a certain number of pedestrians feels like it takes forever since there is no way for you to track it).

This is one of the biggest pieces of trash I’ve ever played. It’s absolutely hilarious. I have now played this game several times over.

The “story” is awful; in the beginning of the game they tried, but later on they got so lazy that it is almost nonexistent. The voice acting is laughably bad. The game looks terrible, and the insane pop-in when you first start the game sets the tone for the rest of the game. The AI is braindead. I could keep going. Everything is wrong.

The best part, however, is the physics. The physics in this game are absolutely broken. This is what makes the game special and hilarious. You never know when you are going to fly off your bike, fall through the world, clip through buildings, explode, etc., and it never got old for me.

CHERNOBYL: The Untold Story

CHERNOBYL: The Untold Story

I was excited to see how this game turned out and I was not disappointed. It reminded me of the old arcade games my sister and I used to play in a cafe when we were young. I loved the story it told about the people that lived in the soviet era and the thoughts of people who live after the fall of it. while walking around, it feels very foreboding and tense while talking to people and learning about the city and it’s various locations. The action is very classic and feels like an on-rails arcade shooter while the synthwave music bumps and pushed you through the action. The gameplay would get old if the game overstayed it’s welcome, but within 3 hours, I had completed the game and felt that it was the perfect length.

Another game from the genius gamedesigner Ilya Davydov also known as Maddyson. CHERNOBYL: The Untold Story is way more serious than other projects created by MEHSOFT, also it is too short for me. Gameplay is quite boring and is divided into two parts: moving through Pripyat, collecting posters and busts of USSR leaders and second, hardcore part - shooting at infected people and soldiers. You can beat this game easily (after updates which made game much easier) in 2-3 hours. I can say that it’s the worst MEHSOFT game at this moment but worth playing nevertheless.

This is a video of scrapped trailer footage some made it and some didn’t but it was all so fun to record and I would do it again over and over 10 times.

This is an awesome mod that takes an already awesome singleplayer experience with a big open world and lots of weapons and vehicles to have fun with, and then lets your friends join in on the fun exploring, battling each other, and more.

One of the most awesome things is the scripting capability, allowing you to add many of your own custom features, gamemodes and more into your server.

I run a server called “Gaveroid’s - Explore, Discover, Destroy”, and we have taken big advantage of this scripting capability to add in loads of customization options (many of which are saved and restored between connections), features like our YouTube Cinema, our car radio, and more.

Alright so I have not done a review for a game before however I will try to be fair in my review of this game.

I will try to keep a specific format and there will be a tldr at the bottom.

Middle Earth Shadow of War has been one of my favorite releases of this year. Being a fan of mature and realistic fantasy, especially Lord of the Rings, this game holds a lot of both fun and appreciation for the effort that went into it. I will seperate this review into six categories, in chronological order; Game design/gameplay, world design/exploration/progression, story(spoiler free), art, music/vibe, and economy. For each of these I will list off the pros and cons that go with them;

💻 Description:

Shadow of War nowadays is considered a must have game for the diehard fans of the L.O.T.R. franchise. Even though, it does not follow the story by the book, it describes an amazing adventure that can please even the most demanding players.

As its predecessor, Shadow of Mordor, the game is an epic story driven action RPG game, where you utilize the power of the ring at its full potential. You fight and recruit armies of orcs that sometimes lead to epic battles, alliances and even betrayals. I really enjoy the game in its highest difficulty, since it adapts to the needs and the playstyle of the player.

For a first time game for these two gentleman I must applaud them. And two years to complete. I’ve been waiting for some games for years and they have a budget and a whole team working on it. This game has lots of aspects to it and can always add more content and story lines. There is really no end to it. You are really trying to survive from the elements, animals, everything you would expect from mother nature!

For the price you can’t go wrong. I didn’t have any trouble with hardware and the game ran smooth mostly. A few crashes when it came to loading from dying and such. But not anything a million dollar title hasn’t had.

ok at first had trouble with the game with food not giving water but with the updates it was good .. crafting was different but easy to get use to it , carrying only 10 items at a time was strange but hey it still worked ok .

It was a fun game to play some parts are tricky with sliding down the hill and dying that was not fun but you get the hang of it ,, it has its ups and downs ,, to me i think its an awesome game to play and will still keep playing it ,, and would recommend it to anyone who likes a challenging survival game
