Bungie are constantly forcing their woke agenda in to the game, they will clamp down hard on anyone who disagrees with their woke agenda. They also charge you for content then take it out of the game. This is not a free to play game, its just free to start. The game is a rip off. Do not buy DLC, it will only get taken away

Rogue Aces Deluxe

Rogue Aces Deluxe

Only just started playing, but loving it so far. Mostly because it’s a lot of fun, but a little bit because of the nods to Skystrike ;) (a game I wrote many many years ago on the ST). If I were writing Skystrike again nowadays, I’d be pinching lots of stuff from Rogue Aces as it’s an absolute belter :)

Rogue Aces is a properly difficult game, but you learn a lot in the early part of the game from your mistakes and immediately dive straight back in for another bash at it.

Review by Sven Evil - Steam’s best local 4-player curator!

|

Are you in the mood for some good old fashioned arcade fun? Then Rogue Aces is the right game for you. It comes with a single player campaign with random, short missions and three multiplayer modes for up to 4 local players.

In the single player camapign (additional campaign and arcade modes can be unlocked) you start your fighter plane from an aircraft carrier and fly missions against the enemy. The mission objectives, given to you by your funny commanding officer, are very simple and consist of destroying enemy planes, airships, ships, buildings, soldiers or vehicles. It is also possible to capture enemy airfields. A good pilot can return to the base after a minute in many missions, others take a bit longer. When you are damaged or out of ammo or fuel - just land on the carrier or your land base to repair and refuel. You improve your plane over the course of the campaign, for example with more bombs or tighter turns.

Medieval Towns

Medieval Towns

(April 15 2021) 9 Months since the Last Update… This EA is still a turd!

IMPROVEMENTS THAT MUST BE MADE

(NOTE I WAS FORUM BANNED FOR MAKING THIS POST)

With 42 hours of play time logged combined with frequent server checks, I can confidently state there is no one playing this EA.

Now combine my in game and server observations with the fact that other than 1 decaying cabin in Westburg and that the only other buildings in this EA are mine which I am allowing to decay because NO ONE IS PLAYING, the Dev has failed to make, even in Early Access, anything that resembles a game! And as result of the ridiculous grind that only gets worse with the introduction of additional content with each new update, Medieval Towns, at this stage, is sadly, nothing more than a “Grind Simulator”… resulting in a lack of interest and 0 server population.

Ok, I just went through the reviews and message boards and it was kind of hard to read. As a dev myself, I know the hard work that goes into making games and this game impressed me from the start. I’m a geek for anything medieval so naturally I bought this game last month. There is really no learning curve so you can jump right in and start playing. I built a cabin, spent some time in prison for punching my cabin, harvested resources, etc. Eventually I moved out to the woodland areas of the north to build my own town (‘cause I wanted to be “King in the North”), and this is where the bulk of my time was spent. I had walls, guard towers, thousands in wood, stone, and iron. I even met another player which was rare. It was a big grind to harvest resources but it was fun.

Need for Speed™ Rivals

Need for Speed™ Rivals

after playing this game for a long while and completing both campaigns, I’ll say that this NFS game has become one of my newest favorites and now rivals Hot Pursuit 2010/Remastered for my favorite NFS game of all time.

However, for the first time in an NFS game, i actually enjoy the Cop side more than the Racer side in this game.

Usually, when it comes to an NFS game with both a Racer & Cop side, i usually tend to enjoy the Racer side more. Racers always felt more intensifying due to the fact you were basically running for your life. But most cop AIs were easy to overcome once you learned their patterns.

gameplay wise this game has a really great concept + its quite enjoyable

there are somethings that are really improper tho,

like theres no offline mode & 30fps cap

there are many bugs too but they can be removed mostly by simply moving the game to a ssd rather than a hdd.

Death Toll

Death Toll

I wasnt sure if i was actually going to like this game or not and wasnt exactly sure what the game was when i got it, after i downloaded it and played around i have begun to enjoy this game a whole lot, wish there was a bigger playerbase as that is currently kind of small, so games are not what they could be, still pretty fun with at least 5 others playing and activly going for objectives.

Your goals of this game is pretty simple, run around and loot to get guns/gear, gear increases your inventory space. There is lots of attachments fo guns and a good selection of guns you can find as well. you then have to travel the map to 4 colored dots on the map that shows the general area of 1 out of 4 briefcases you need in order to win the game. after you have all 4 brief cases you pretty much win but its not over just yet, you have to leave the island and if you can get killed while trying to escape off the island. its really fun when you are driving and jets/tanks/helicopters are shooting at you while you try to escape.

If this game would have come out 2 years ago it would be sitting comfortably as a very strong indie title. Unfortunately with its timing there is a risk for it to get lost in the heap of the open world+looter+battle royale craze. I went into it thinking it was indie PUBG + tanks and choppers, what I got was a much different game. I agree the market is saturated with similar looking games. Your favorite rapper will probably not ever stream Death Toll. And while it lacks polish it has the framework for some intense matches.

GangV | VR & PC Battle Royale

Honestly, DON’T listen to any bad reviews from people who have only played it for an hour or so, because this game is very very early in development, so visually it may not look very polished but it truly as a LOT of potential if you give it a chance…

The dev team is a group of amazing people who are eager to hear your feedback good and bad so they can learn from it and improve it.

I have been a part of this beta for quite a while, sadly I haven’t been able to play it as much as I’d like due to work, but i saw how much better this game became through a very short time,

I’ve been enjoying this game a bit. I’ll most likely be returning to update my review as time goes on.

Very unpolished battle royale but can lead to some very fun times for a group of friends. The developers are very friendly in their discord and seem to take suggestions & answer to bugs pretty fast which is nice.

I’ll be reviewing it as a PC player, VR experience may differ.

The Good:

  • The gang / takeover system is pretty refreshing in the BR genre.

  • Driving is actually enjoyable.

  • Community is fairly nice so far.

Update JUL 2017:

Much has changed since this review was first posted. There’s a lot of new content, more than enough to justify the price tag in my opinion. Here’s a short list.

  • Enormous playing areas, an entire galaxy!

  • First person tools (and a weapon)

  • Harder and more diverse AI controlled enemies

  • More diverse missions

  • Automation! Woo!

I just keep coming back to this game.

This is the upteenth time I’ve revisited it, and each time it gets better. There’s a good amount of toys, things to play with, and sooo much more stuff to look forward to. Not only am I happy with how the game is now, but I’m also very excited about what’s coming in the future.

Ok, at the 350hr stage time for a review.

Firstly this is an Early Acess title in the “alpha” stage of development.

What this means is it is far from finished. So, if you want a “finished” product

wait a year or three, I reckon it will be fantastic by then if a couple of things happen*.

What i like about the game so far.

Content, hard to comment at this stage of development but so far much

better than i expected. By quite a bit.

There is quite a lot of content INSIDE** the ships, a ton of stuff came in the last patch
