Just Cause 2: Multiplayer Mod

Just Cause 2: Multiplayer Mod

Excuse me, I might not have enough experience in this game.. but I believe this is one of the best multiplayer out there, it doesn’t feel like there is something you really try to achieve, but something you rather enjoy with other people and friends.

I personally recommend to not join freeroam servers as the interest dies out pretty quick in such scenarios, I didn’t even play singeplayer.. I started first with the multiplayer by joining a server called “Real Life Server”, it was very complex and hard to understand as a newbie with a lot of custom game mechanics/server mechanics and server rules to get used to, but eventually when you really know everything by heart and you have experienced most of what it has to offer. You will probably have the same opinion.

Multiplayer enables much more possibility than single player, with lua coding server developers can create all sorts of things. From faction and administration systems, freeroam servers, a survival server, or a whole server dedicated to airplane simulation. Heck I know someone even made a whole Minecraft script for this! Either way depending what type of server you may be interested in there are still quite a few to choose from. Pretty much everyone knows that this game in general is dying out compared to what it used to be years ago with hundreds and thousands of players that used to passionately play. It is quieter these days, but some servers are still holding on a rather decent player population daily. Some may disagree, but you can meet some really nice people depending what server you settle in. In some cases one server for example has a whole community with it, and I can say I have met many nice people there and made some friends along the way. I had enough interest and dedication for this I decided to help and be a staff member of said server.

TL;DR: PvP is terrible and allows no-lifers to prevent other players from ever acquiring gear to compete with them in Dark Zone fights.

The Review:

Let me preface this by saying I have played since first Beta. I also played the second Beta and have also played since launch. So I can give a bit more insight than some. With that, let’s get fucked.

PROS

  • Huge, well detailed city

  • Cool Concept

  • Good Customization for Character Outfit

  • First 20-30 hours are amazing

Introduction:

I haven’t played a lot of third person shooters but this game seemed to offer an unique post apocalyptic themed open world setting along with a focus on co op content which was something I was looking for.

Therefore compared to any of the not so recent Tom Clancy games I remember playing I had some more expectations from this modern title not like I didn’t enjoy the stealth based mechanics of the previous games but this is more of a cover and shoot based game here. Lets proceed!

A damn shame of a game. If this ever had a proper dev team, then it’d probably be one of the best games out there. Game runs short on things to do after a few hours of gameplay. Do not recommend, go buy Minecraft or something.

This Review is mostly about the online version of the game, as I can still recommend the singleplayer as a good experience.

Do yourself a favour, don’t buy this game, It’s full of hackers who won’t let you enjoy the game. Though can avoid them by using some methods, you’d basically have to miss out of some game features, including some of the best ways of making money in this grindy game.

I’d recommend buying something else with your money, this isn’t worth much now in the condition it is in. Oh and it has such a toxic community, most people just want to up their K/D, so they target lowlevels or people who don’t fight back and kill them over and over relentlessly.

as a person who has lots of sex all the time, i can say that this game is 100% accurate to having sex with sexy women. like i do. everyday. this game did not make me horny however. i am not gay. i just have too much sex with real women to spend more than 15 minutes in this game, on the other hand i would recommend this game to people who do not have sex (unlike me because i have lots of sex with women a lot) as there is a naked woman in it and she is naked, she kinda looks like one of my many girlfriends who i have sex with a lot. I have lots of sex. i also an very handsome and women ALWAYS want to have sex with me because i am very muscular and handsome and very good at video games. all my girlfriends say im very good at sex and playing video games and being handsome, one of my girlfriends asked me to have sex with her but i told her i was playing a sex game instead so she started crying and became a lesbian and killed herself because i did not have sex with her. i have sex with women. not men. i am not gay. I am very cool and handsome so girls always have sex with me because i am very cool and sexy. my penis is very big. all my girlfriends like my penis because it is very big and i am very good at sex with my women. every woman ive had sex with is very sexy and so am i. i have lots of sex. i am also very handsome and sexy and have lots of sex.

I have owned this game since day one and it has devolved into a micro-transaction riddled grind fest with little to no real content added with every update. It is fun once through, but if you already own it don’t bother returning, The devs have taken this game in the wrong direction entirely. I will consider playing the game again IF the stupid in game shop is removed and they release a content update with more depth than a puddle of pee on a public restroom floor. I wish I could get a refund for my 6 copies I bought for myself and friends as it is no longer the game I purchased years ago. GG System Era.

awesome chill “survival” exploration game. survivals very loose as theres nothing to keep track of thatll kill you besides oxygen, the real fun is in base building, exploring, finding secrets, and eventually traveling to other planets and extending your bases to them and thriving! additionally, the games only gotten better over the years, especially with the removal of the old (not very good) tutorial and replacing it with an ingame mission tracker that actually helps you learn what to do. give it a shot honestly! whether youre new or only played it at early access or on its original launch. its only going to keep improving in time i feel :)

Better Late Than DEAD

Better Late Than DEAD

This is the first time I have writen a review for any game.

Bought this game a while ago, but couldnt even play at first, I’m on a mac, an it was insanely laggy and just impossible to play, however now it seems to work better, guess the devs have altered things/made it run better on mac.

At first I was determined to like this game, as it had all the hallmarks of a game I would usually love, however, after playing numerous times now, I just couldn’t recomend this game.

first off, like others have said, player movement is weird, combat seems lacking, and days are short.

This game was reviewed using a code sent by the developer/publisher.

Better Late Than DEAD is a survival adventure game developed by Odin Game Studios, being published on Steam in July of 2015 on Early Access.

As we have come all too familiar with the survival genre of games; you start off as a single character, dropped in the middle of nowhere and you are expected to survive. Games of this genre are often a hit from the start or just flop straight away. Unfortunately Better Late Than DEAD does not have a very bright future in my eyes.

–——– Thought I’d update my early review to explain where the game’s at right now ———-

45 hours in, I still haven’t gotten bored. 80-something hours in, I still haven’t gotten bored.

This game WAS a buggy mess, multiplayer USED TO BE fucked and the gameplay loop can still feel kinda same-y and repetitive. This game is like if you let a child open five different flavors of ice cream out of the freezer, throw some of each in a bowl, and stirred it around until it all turned into a weird, brown soup with little “unique” bits sticking out of it everywhere. That said, that’s a sweet fucking soup and dear god does this game not lack in the charm-department.

Fantastic game. Got this a while ago and at first the multiplayer barely worked, but with subsequent patches (the devs are working hard on it) this improved and became playable.

Game has a lot of depth to it and found time after time there was an additional layer of complexity after ascending ages, or figuring out new mechanics with gear, or skill trees. The game gets even better with friends as you can actually make a composition of tank, heal (kinda) and dps, and I definitely reccommend this game to be played with friends.

This game has great potential. Sadly you will find that you run out of things to do after about 30hrs of gameplay at this time. With new content updates this could be a great game.

Hello to all the players, have a good day, I recommend this game because the truth seems to me to be a very relatable and fun game where you can share a beautiful gaming experience with your friends and it is only a game that at first seems boring because you want to You play alone and the other players will be killing you but you will get used to it, it is like every game at first it is difficult to play it but it is very nice when you are already liking it and you can become addicted

Eden Rising

Eden Rising

Nearing the final tech tiers I figure it is good a time as any to weigh in my thoughts on Eden Rising. This will be wordy but I feel game devs and consumers alike deserve a full response for their hard work/investment.

I picked this game up on sale before the free to play option was launched; my son loves TD games and I am a big fan of progression games of nearly any kind. So with this one hitting enough checks we both purchased a copy so we could play co-op together.

Performance was pretty poor; It didn’t seem to matter if i played at high or low setting at 4k or 720p there were lag spikes and frame drops present throughout my entire playthrough so far. I will list my rig at the end of this for reference. This is the single most important aspect that will attract negative attention from the average consumer in my opinion. Performance is a gate that can be welcoming and open or an object that impedes the player base depending on how it’s handled.

While I haven’t reviewed many games on Steam, I had to make an exception for Eden Rising: Supremacy. I’ve bought into plenty of Early Access titles that have made me swear to never believe in the hype again. Thankfully, Eden Rising has bucked the trend and made me believe that developers can produce EA games that are full featured and fun - while still having plenty more in store for those who eagerly await the next patches. Below is the story of the one crucial moment that made me a believer, and even though it’s a bit long, I hope it will give people sitting on the fence an idea of what the world has in store for them.

Gave up FPSs years ago. Had no interest in head sets, COD, and perhaps I’m getting a little old. Played every Doom 1, 2, Final, Ultimate, 64, 3. Quakes through 4, Unreal 1-2 plus Tournament 99. All Half Lifes. COD 1-2. FC 1 and 3 (2 is the only game I’ve ever played that gives me motion sickness). All Painkillers, all Sams. With the exception of Doom 3, I loved all of these above games. There’s a few more in the past like MoH, Sin, Daikatana, etc. but you get the point. If you’re reading this you’ve played them all too. Now all I play are RPGs, roguelikes and the occasional met-vania that actually lives up to the “genre.”
