New World
The leveling experience in this game is amazing and very grinding. The problems starts the very moment you hit level 60. There is no end game content and what is available is absolutely broken. Bots, hackers , gold sellers and dupers have taken over this game several times and forced a very inexperienced Amazon staff to shut down trading and coin transfer several times for days on end. The economy is broken beyond repair and servers have died. The game started with close to 1 million players and now has about a quarter of that remaining. On a good day this game should be ftp at best. Don’t waste your money on this game just yet until amazon can prove to be good developers.

Citadel: Forged with Fire
Ok, so at the 4k mark I guess I can make a constructive thing again, two parts, first what we have and second, what we could have.
So here’s the short and sweet on why I don’t recommend the game: how they advertise vs actual product that’s the issue. With that out of the way here goes what we have:
A grind fest, with infinite resources. Sounds a bit contradictory doesn’t it? Well if you’re the most powerful clan on a server you will have infinite resources as long as you bother picking it up, that’s upsetting the balance quite a bit in general since unless you have the 24h-no life attitude you will not in anyway manage to compete or even just survive. They will have the gear, the resources and all the tasty goodies to smack you at any time and you can suck it up, or quit. Which mean people quit. The best way to fix this would obviously be to make the world bigger so people could migrate away and come back, instead of migrating to new games.

This game had HUGE amounts of promise and was extremely fun in the beggining. So much fun that I actualy made 3 level 60 characters and keeps for all three of them. Its EA and there are bugs. The blue isle team was diligently working on them for a while and then things turned sour.
There are roughly 3 reasons people want to play this game.
1- The building of bases and fortresses.
2- The flying
3- The pets and dragons you can tame and ride.
Reasons 1 and 2 were completely amazing untill one of their Dev team whom I will call Eggbert, decided to completely change the dynamics of gameplay to totaly ruin the fun that they had once generated for every one. Apparently Eggbert thought that flying slower than walking speed would be fun for every one, but before that the speed was exileratingly fast. Good job Eggbert, you have singlehandedly ruined Flying.

Dark and Light
After over 4000 hours played (mostly on this account) and almost a year of early access, I’m ready to review this game. And for the short attention spans in the room, let’s simply say this isn’t worth your money and the game has no long-term potential. Buy it and play it for a few weeks if you want to get a taste of a fantasy version of ARK, but do not expect anything in the way of proper game development or commnication from the dev team.
Here are a few of my main reasons for the review.
- Lack of forward motion. The game has seen only small improvements since launch. It is a beautiful world with great animals to tame, but it’s largely the same world I signed up for when it first released. They added two half-assed dungeons that are incredibly buggy and short/boring. They added an airship that was a disaster at launch and continues to be so. With the exception of that and maybe 3 new animals, there’s simply no new content in this game. What’s saddest about this is that they’ve actually prioritized new content OVER fixing existing issues. This means they’re actually prioritizing new content and still managed to squeak out barely enough to warrant a handful of announcements. The game is almost exactly where it started.

This game isn’t balanced at all, the grind is long and unrewarding, toxic players love to grief the newbies who have no way to fight back. Reminds me of ARK before it’s release. They also eventually plan to implement cross-server transferring which essentially killed ARK, yet this game pretty much died with the release of Conan Exiles. Nerfing the flying battleships and easier ways to break into manor was essentially the final nail in the coffin. Many exploits and bugs that veteran players use to constantly keep their grip on their servers. The three race thing sounds neat at first yet is basically useless, what large guilds do to lock down a server is simply split into 3 guilds, one for each race then essentially lock down the vendors and the altars used to make myhtical feed. This prevents new guilds from establishing a foothold. So basically it’s a Tri-Fecta Super Guild that lock down a server and constantly raid new players who are trying to learn the game or fight back.

Last Oasis
ok so with my number of hours, I guess its time to write a review.
At launch it was a fantastic concept, the devs have thrown content updates, balance changes, and appear to be making progress. HOWEVER, the direction theyve taken the game with said updates has killed the playerbase. in just 3months theyve lost over 20k players, to at the time of writing a mere concurrent average of 1k players. they reduce the tiles, reduce the tiles, more and more people quit. Tile burning in essence was an interesting concept. but it wasn’t what the community wanted. that much is clear to see.

This review is from the perspective of an OCE player.
Last Oasis, like Star Wars' 2000’s trilogy, has so far been a series in three parts.
‘You are…so beautiful’
Game launches to 33 thousand players. Servers are buckling under the tremendous weight of their own hype. The game’s launch is delayed for a week as the developers scramble to accommodate the tsunami of players. The game was glitchy. The game was buggy. It was littered with hackers, cheaters, and exploiters- from Paris to Berlin (read: from Beijing to Singapore). Shroud was playing. It was insane.

RuneScape ®
14,480 hours as of writing this review. Proof
The game is definitely not the same as many people remember it. The game has evolved to be more up to date as compared to other MMO’s out there while keeping it’s charm. I’ve had many friends and memories on this game and for that i thank Jagex.
There is a bit of everything for everyone. lets start with skills.
Skills
There is a lot of skills to choose from and they are divided into 4 categories.

Introduction
I have been playing Runescape for a total of 10.000+ hours for the last 10 years. This game is really enjoyable and has so much to offer! Very different from other MMORPG games. Now lets get on with the review.
Runescape
is a game made by the company Jagex. Runescape has been around since 2001. That version is now called Runescape Classic. That version is not available anymore. Runescape can be played in two versions, Runescape 3 and Old School Runescape. I will introduce OSRS in this review aswell. Both games have a very stable and high player base. This version of the game is Runescape 3. I personally play both games because they are very different from each other and offer different content such as bosses and raids. Both games are really enjoyable. This review is made about Runescape 3.

Starbase
LauriFB is the disease of this game. Everyone that was loyal has left. The only people here now are the multiple dev accounts or the yes men that the devs like having around oblivious to their own existence. Or the few left in the ship designer.
No PVP - they banned them all for not PVPing the way FB wanted them to (banning in an alpha LOL)
No PVE - Devs are idiots - no trade, no missions, no bounties, nothing to create a single drop of PVP. They even stated NO PVE EVER, should tell you their brain capacity. I mean look at all the other successful MMO sandbox space titles with PVP only. HAHA

Played this game for quite awhile in earlier days. just came back to try it out while im still waiting for capital ships. but Super surprised at how smooth the game runs now. definately get the sense that theyve been working on it.
For those who care, the ship and station building is unsurpassed by anything i ever played. you will lose ships to the EZ builder unless thats been fixed. the level of freedom you have to do what you want is just amazing. when capital ships come out which make it so u can have a mobile safezone out in pvp space you will litterally be able to live anywhere and do as u will, store your own ships, explore the great reaches of undiscovered space. seriously cant wait for that. and if you have a group the scale and scope of what you can do is pretty redic.

Upon launch, level cap will be 30, then as the game progresses with more players, we will raise the level cap as we release more content. PvP will be heavy in this game; guilds can declare war and battle anywhere in the open world. With our World War system, every weekend, all guilds fight over an area in a “King of The Hill” style battle. The winning guild that holds the position wins, that guild controls the tax rate across the world and collects all the tax money.
-
Main Story Line: Your body was dragged from a fire into town, you woke up the next day and went back to search for your family, you found your daughter’s body torn apart with your wife still dying. She points to a hill outside before she dies. Satan murdered your family, when you kill one of his possessed vessels, he laughs and curses you with eternal life - now you wake up somewhere every time you die, never escaping Hell on Earth to be with your dead family. Join others like you to get stronger together and save the world that Satan has taken over in a final battle.
-
Side Quests: Story lines can be very boring, we smash the skip button the moment we see it. In AO, we made quests full of memes and jokes.

Maybe a crazy homeless guy with crazy eyes wants to order a pizza with gumballs on it and him and his pet cat discuss bitcoin investments.
ArcheAge
After a long, long time playing this game, as you can see by my hours played. I have one thing to say about this game.
Trion ruined a completely awesome game. This game had everything that you could want from an MMO. Pretty good graphics made on Cryengine, an entire world including the ocean built from the ground up. Deep Sea diving for treasure hunting, massive ship battles, player built housing and even vehicles like tractors and boats ranging from rowboats, to fishing boats and trade boats, to outright galleons entire parties could crew.

Oh Archeage…Where do I begin…
Edit: this review was based off of the Kraken server (Used to be Enla) which was a merge of two different servers, from the start of Kraken everything went wrong and that is where most of my cons come from. If someone comments just be aware that their experience may not be the same due to being on a server with more stability. This was not just my view on the game but an overall assessment made by a guild of over 40 people. and a close estimate of population would be a 1:1:3 Haranyan (us) : Pirate (Purple and same faction reds) : Nuian (Red), so we were completely out numbered when it came to world PvP and trade runs.

Atom Universe
I was an avid PS Home user since 2008 and see a lot of the spirit of PS Home in Atom Universe (AU). The creators of AU, Atom Republic, previously created content for PS Home, but after PS Home was shut down in March 2015, they asked the community what they should do next and the overwhelming response was to build a new virtual world as a successor to PS Home and hence the idea of Atom Universe was born. Atom Republic had a Kickstarter campaign for the game in April 2015 to help fund the development of the intial release which was successful. Atom Republic has partnered with several former 3rd party developers for PS Home such as Engine Giant, Game Mechanics, JAM Games, PS Talent (of which I am a long time member), and more to come. Patrick O’Luanaigh, CEO of nDreams, was also made the AU team’s non-executive director during the summer of 2015. He has referred to Atom Universe as “the successor to PS Home.” Since PS Home’s closure, many former PS Home developers have created their own game, but Atom Republic is the only one to have partnered with others. The game is developed with Unreal Engine 4 and features amazing realistic graphics and supports cross-play between PC and PS4 with the potentional to be supported on other platforms (Mac, XBoxOne, etc.), including future ones, e.g. PS5. The game will also support Virtual Reality with such headsets as PlayStation VR for PS4 and Oculus Rift for PC. Atom Republic has been very responsive to feedback from its community and IMO done an excellent job with this project. As a reward for my donation level to the game’s Kickstarter that I mentioned, I was given the opportunity to test the Alpha version of the game, which I have been doing for several months now. During this time, I have seen a lot of progress made on the game’s development as new features have been added and various bugs fixed. The Early Access version was just made available to backers of the project this past Saturday, February 27, which includes a space which we have not seen in the Alpha called Arcade Plaza. Here’s a promotional video that shows what the Arcade Plaza looks like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ftGDFQCRVCs The Early Access version will later be made available to the entire Steam Community but until then, backers like myself will continue to test it. Whether you are looking for a successor to PS Home or a new realistic social game/virtual world in which to play then Atom Universe is for you. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS GAME!!!

Update 2/10/20: Currently the PC version is more stable then the PS4 version, chat issues seemed to of improved but not 100%, sometimes songs playing in background (in Crowbots Arena) will stop so have to reconnect for them to start playing again though doing this can sometimes mean the chat channel disconnects or will be unable to load dance menu only way to fix is to relaunch. I think this has the potential to be close with ps home if games were to be added as without them there is not much to do other than socialize which I like to do with friends in the nice spaces AU has on offer but having games to play alongside the social aspect would add to this and bring in more players too such as: multiplayer bowling and shooting gallery, also Hub attractions opening up such as: ghost train game and mini-golf that were ideas to be added to the Hub. Developers keep in touch with the community which is nice and support groups/clubs by adding content which I think is brilliant and much appreciated.

Gran Skrea Online
Pros:
-Great Community: Everyone knows everyone. Players are extremely friendly and welcoming to new players and there are guilds for all skill lvls to join. The community is more like a big Family.
-Great Devs: The devs are super passionate about the game. They listen a lot to community feedback and ideas and are good at filtering out the bad ideas.
-Buy once never pay again: There is not even option to spend more money on the game after you bought it. No ingame shop, no lootboxes, no dlcs, nothing. It has gotten to a point where many players want the devs to set up a way to donate because they feel like the game deserves more then 10€ for what it offers.

This game is not your usual mmorpg. It harkens back to older days in games like Oldschool Runescape,Ultima etc. When MMORPGS weren’t focused on endgame content or getting to the max level the fastest to grind gear. But were about the adventure, about honing your skills exploring the world discovering its secrets making your own discoveries and being rewarded for them. This game might not look the best with its old graphics and poorly animated attack animations. but The world the exploration, the quests feeling like actual quests all make this game enjoyable. let me give you a example of a quest. while exploring a the town of Yorkhill I came across the ghost of a lady who can’t leave to go to the afterlife till her husbands body has been laid to rest. So I have to go out find a group of grabs and kill them get the husbands remains bury them then go back and talk to the ghost lady. she still can’t rest because the Spirit of her second husband hasn’t been put to rest. He was a fighter so in order for his spirit to rest he needs to have a good fight. She tells me I need to go to East athagos and Shout his name to summon his spirit. So I go out to East Athagos I type out the spirits name in chat and send it and out of nowhere a red fiery angry spirit shows up and engages me in combat. I best the spirit in combat return to the female ghost speak with her and am told despite all of this She still can’t rest because the bones of her third husband haven’t been placed in her grave next to her. (OH COME ON!) luckily this was a very simple task since he was buried in the same grave yard as she was. I dig up his remains take them to her grave place them inside her grave and finish the quest. being then rewarded with a cutlass 1000 silver and bracers that require level 25 in light armor to wear. The cutlass being a very powerful single handed weapon. This is but one of the many interesting quests waiting to be discovered and done. The world is large and full of things to explore, to find to discover there are no signs on your map telling you where things are. you will have to discover them yourself. If you want you can engage other players in PvP green, yellow, orange and red zones. which is a nice system Green zones when killed you drop 20% of what you’re carrying Yellow is 30% orange 40% and red 80%. This system would be great if there were more people playing this game however population atm is quite small. I would like to see it grow in the future But many people these days seek instant gratification rather than having to work towards something. This game is very Grindy its a rewarding type of grind but if you aren’t one for those kinds of things then you will probably not enjoy this game as much. I recommend this game to anyone looking for a non linear and interesting sandbox game so long as they don’t mind poor graphics and animations. if you’re looking for good graphics fast gameplay and having things just handed to you then this game is not for you. Overall a rewarding experience I hope more quests get implemented and the other area’s of the map get more filled with things to do and unique monsters.
