Far Cry® 5
Gave up FPSs years ago. Had no interest in head sets, COD, and perhaps I’m getting a little old. Played every Doom 1, 2, Final, Ultimate, 64, 3. Quakes through 4, Unreal 1-2 plus Tournament 99. All Half Lifes. COD 1-2. FC 1 and 3 (2 is the only game I’ve ever played that gives me motion sickness). All Painkillers, all Sams. With the exception of Doom 3, I loved all of these above games. There’s a few more in the past like MoH, Sin, Daikatana, etc. but you get the point. If you’re reading this you’ve played them all too. Now all I play are RPGs, roguelikes and the occasional met-vania that actually lives up to the “genre.”

Yeah!
I did my time, and I want out
So effusive fade, it doesn’t cut
The soul is not so vibrant
The reckoning, the sickening
Packaging subversion
Pseudo sacrosanct perversion
Go drill your deserts
Go dig your graves
Then fill your mouth with all the money you will save
Sinking in, getting smaller again
I’m done, it has begun
I’m not the only one
And the rain will kill us all
Throw ourselves against the wall
But no one else can see
The preservation of the martyr in me

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon® Wildlands
This game is the perfect middle ground between a casual shooter (like far cry or gta 5) and a military simulation style game (like arma 3).
-The setting is a breath of fresh air in a genre that has become all too repetetive in recent years. With the beautifully designed map of Bolivia offering a break from the same old middle eastern setting that weve become all too accustomed to.
-The world Ubisoft created feels like a real place where people go about their daily business.
-There is a massive ammount of weapons to chose from and every single one of them has its very own characteristics encouraging you to perfect your own personal style.

This game has earned Ubisoft the same honour that I’ve been bestowing EA since Battlefield 2 : Never to buy their games ever again.
Way too many bugs, too many forced inclusions of other Tom Clancy [TM][Copyrighted][BeatDeadHorseSomeMore] franchises, bugs, broken gameplay and unoriginal stories. The keymapping is clearly a port from console. The few good parts are too few and far in between to do the rest of the setting justice. Oh, and bugs that may be irritating or ourtight gamebreaking. Also, loading times that rival the first Operation Flashpoint. The game could’ve been great and shows it - too rarely unfortunately. The rest of the time it is ok or frustrating - did I mention the bugs yet ?

Dead Island: Riptide Definitive Edition
TLDR: An unbalanced and buggy mess that is too short for the price. Only worth getting (on sale) if you’re looking to continue the story.
This game makes it hard to have fun with, because it has a lot of bugs and glitches that have a negative impact on enjoyment. It’s very obvious that this game was rushed out of development and hasn’t seen much support. It makes this game stink of money grab intentions. This one is rather shameful in comparison to the original Dead Island.
Some combat moves were added that might’ve been neat on paper but were glitched to hell to the point of being almost useless. You can do a jump attack from above, which is an instant kill to normal zombies, but doing so runs the risk of being stuck in the attack animation. For a few seconds your character is floating slightly above the ground, you can’t move, and you are vulnerable to attacks while it’s happening. Most of the time, it’s not a good idea to use this move.

What is Riptide?
Riptide was a stand-alone expansion to Dead Island back in 2013. Releasing such content was already a rarity at that time; you usually make do with DLCs where your best bet is to purchase the corresponding Season Pass instead of individual contents. So, releasing an expansion to an already well-known game seems a pretty cool idea. The story takes place immediately after Dead Island - from Banoi we switch to Palanai, another tourist resort-like location which is taken over by our undead friends.

Far Cry® 4
This may be one of the greatest games ever made, I’ve played a lot of Ubisoft titles through the years, and I’m sort of shocked that it took me so long to discover how awesome far cry is.
I’ve always loved call of duty campaigns, and far cry 4, feels an awful lot like an open world call of duty campaign, with in-depth interactivity and upgrade mechanics.
Pagan Min is awesome, and the game has held up extremely well.
Definitely made for the audience that would enjoy this sort of stuff.
Highly recommended.

Far Cry® New Dawn
Far Cry New Dawn’s post-apocalyptic version of Hope County is essentially the same one we know from Far Cry 5. Once again the locals are being terrorized by armed gangs speeding around in infinite trucks while furious bears and homicidal turkeys leap from the bushes to claw at anything that moves. New Dawn adds a couple new twists to the series' formula—at times you can leave Montana to visit other states—but nothing to make it feel like a wholly different game. This is Far Cry 5 again, just on a smaller scale and with more pink flowers.

Game just crashes to desktop REPEATEDLY and at random. No way to tell when it is going to happen and there’s no error message. You play and then suddenly the screen goes black, then you are back at the desktop and the Ubisoft launcher is trying to sync your game with the cloud. Have tried every single option people have posted online about how to “fix” this and none work. We are now FAR away from the video drivers (nvidia) that were thought to be a problem for this game (the recommendation a couple years ago was to go back to an old driver). Trying this today will break some of your newer games. Locking your screen refresh (another suggestion) does nothing. Turning off or leaving off HDR does nothing. The game just doesn’t work. NO other game I have has anything remotely like this problem. It is organic to THIS game.

Monster Hunter: World
This game is to this date the most beautiful monster hunter game, with amazing and fun iterations of the usual weapons. It is so much fun playing with friends and random people, the community surrounding this game is great, helpful and a lot of fun. I would reccomend to play the base game first without the DLC, because some of the new features from Iceborne make aspects of the base game easier. Also don’t use the defender gear, it is akin to cheating yourself out of a great experience. Learning the game and building your own armour from slain monsters is more rewarding than picking the cheat armour when creating a new character.

Finally finished the first mission, so time to leave a review!
It’s good.
Real good.
The absolute mechanical intricacy of combat in the MH series has no peers, and World continues to uphold and expand on weighty, meaty walloping of monsters. Every weapon category has it’s quirks, secrets and an unbelievable amount of depth tied to their mechanics.
Not one weapon is ‘simple’; there is ALWAYS something a little bit extra to it (even spread 3 HBG or ZSD spam).
You can doot.
You can do aerial acrobatics with a hammer.

The roles in Pulsar explained:
Pilot: shout at the engineer to give you more power, get shouted by the weapons officer for a firing solution, practice your “ooops” every time you crash into stuff, die suddently because the entire ship is on fire and you were focusing on the external camera
Scientist: you never have enough power for anything because everyone thinks you’re useless, except when the ship is swarmed by viruses and/or they need urgent healing. It’s like IT, you are only ever acknowledged when something goes wrong

IF YOU PLAN TO PURCHASE THIS TO PLAY IT WITH ANOTHER FRIEND, DON’T BUY IT. It crashes every few minutes in Co-op and it seems like it hasn’t been fixed for a long time.

Game was a blast! It was like what I wanted that most recent crackdown game to be. Fun powers and whacky story that made sense given the Saint’s history. Plenty of fan service for long time fans, but it didn’t bog down the experience for new players.
If you like have super powers in a sandbox, this game is for you!

Beast Nature
You have to fight your fears and solve a mystery of this area. We dont know what lives here aliens, ghosts, bigfoot or just some wild coyotes, when night comes something weird used to happen. Better find something more powerfull then your old shotgun cuz it is only the first location and first… Beast…
Anyway do not worry to much - there should be some stuff laying around, it had owner before but now I don’t think skeletons would mind you taking it.
And the most important, do not go out at night without a rifle or call a freind to carry one for you
