Cellyon: Boss Confrontation

Cellyon: Boss Confrontation

This game has a really cool concept and is very promising for the future, the skill cap seems to be very high and even though it is still the beginning, there is already a lot of content that will challenge you for hours.

It is in early development phase so there are some bugs and a lot of things can be improved but it is really promising and might offer to MMO lovers a real challenge through a lot of different encounters !

I reccommend it !

I never was a fan of this kind of game because of the farming part.

So this was a very good ocation to start since there is no farming part in this game.

I reccomand it for all who want to try MMO/boss fight who can’t spend 20 hours farming before any fun.

Blacklist Brigade

Pretty fun little game. Honestly has more to it than I thought, with weapon and character upgrades, 6 different soldiers who each have thier own couple passive abilities to help the team. Has quite a few gun options(Though there are never enough guns!). Combat, while not to overly difficult, has just enough challenge to where you cant totally yolo everything, unless you just dont care about being downed over and over. Its quite forgiving, with the rather quick and unlimited revives. I also like the amount of UI options.

My friends and I are huge fans of coop tactical shooters. We got this game because we thought it might scratch that itch and we were not disappointed. Lots of tactical movement and teamwork. Tense firefights that are sometimes quite chaotic. Enough gear and class choices to ensure a team of four can specialize, and also a skill system. Easy to get into and play, and next thing you know you’ve spent a couple hours. In a nutshell: fun.

The game is currently in early access, so be aware it isnt in a completed state (though still very playable). Maps are limited for now, but being added to. The developer is active in the forums and extremely responsive to feedback, which is nice. This is a small title that deserves support.

GHOSTWINTER

I think its a cool game for a $3 indie title. The scenery is very nice and it definitely puts you in the winter mood. It is very challenging but I’ve managed to get 17 of the 35 enemies so far, still haven’t made it to the T-Rex yet but I’m looking forward to finding it.

Excellent optimization and high quality graphics. Didn’t notice any flaws. Those who give negative reviews due to the fact that in a single-player game on the “Esc” key, the game restarts apparently did not read the detailed description in the upper right corner. High-quality control, many types of weapons, I liked the ability to save a character with a certain weapon and accessories that you can then choose. Various modes of multiplayer play, no monotony. I advise everyone!!!

Fury Unleashed

Fury Unleashed

I don’t do a lot of reviews, but I felt compelled to a proper one because this game is really, really fun.

Action/platformer/roguelite/RPG

First of all, I’m on the wrong side of 45 and still gaming strong, but it presents a quandry: I love “old school” games, but - I am too old and can’t game as well as I used too. The secondary problem I run into is “loving the idea” of old school games but after the novelty of pixilated graphics wears off, I can’t see them as anything but ugly. Fury Unleashed effectively beat the hell out of those problems. It has an AMAZING amount of customization of difficulty allowing for old people like myself to really enjoy it as well as the crazy kids hat love games being 25 viagra hard. The graphics are really sharp and not extravagant, in short it’s pretty and runs butter smooth. It really seems like they thought of everything up to and including a pet peeve of mine where games that use the Steam Workshop make you download the workshop stuff outside of the game, but this integrates it into the character select screen so you literally see the cosmetics you can dl from the workshop and simply select it in-game.

TL;DR 10/10 Xom howls with laughter!

What would the product be if you mixed together the creativity of Comix Zone, the unrelenting action of Metal Slug, and the audacity of action flicks from the 80’s? Probably this. Fury Unleashed is the first game I want to review, and rightly so.

To begin with, the Hero starts off with one SMG, one choppy blade, grenades, and boots of stomping. Throughout the course of the story, you get all the silly loot you could want and more. Freezing shrapnel grenades? Got ‘em. Rocket launcher with poison warheads? Sure! Unholy blade? No problem. Triple jump boots? Go wild! In addition to this arsenal of fun, the enemies you face are varied and challenging in distinctive ways. In fact, the same deadly shenanigans you pull on them can just as easily apply to you. This is most noticeable in the second comic book, where enemy soldiers can (and will) use the same weapons you do.

INTRO

If you are searching for a fine Sudoku game on Steam, like I was, you can stop doing so now.

ABOUT

In Sudoku Zenkai they let you play the way you like it. Choose what theme you want. Choose if you want to play with numbers, letters, colors, signs and more. Choose your difficulty. Choose the amount of help the game offers you. Make annotations (Yes, there are Sudoku games out there which let you play on extreme difficulties without letting you make annotations…). Solve the daily challenge and play with your friends in a co-op style of gameplay in order to solve the puzzle together.

Real player with 26.4 hrs in game

Really versatile Sudoku simulator. The game offers small numbers to help you solve the puzzles and you can remove big numbers and small numbers you typed yourself alike. You can choose to use symbols instead of numbers and a lot of colour background options and methods of play. The daily challenges really want you to use your problem solving skills in these puzzles, so you better be prepared and practice a lot to master or else you may forget techniques to use. This game is recommended to all Sudoku fans, to ones who follow Sudoku Guy on Youtube or possibly the ones who want to extend their Steam library with more puzzle games into their collection.

Regimental Chess

Regimental Chess

I find this game very interesting, but with a few problems. When you get into a game with someone, either player can leave and come back as they choose, making it similar to email chess. The downside is that this makes it difficult to actually get into a game and finish it. You tend to lose track of the individual games when there’s a list of 10 of them waiting for the other player to make their move. I personally don’t like this Words With Friends/Draw Something style of gameplay as it can slow the pace of games to a crawl. The option of timed moves or a chess clock, forcing the players to stay and finish the game in a set amount of time would be a big improvement. That being said, when both players are actually staying in the game to completion, it’s very, very good. The changes to regular chess that have been made here keep the feeling of playing a chess game, but on a bigger scale. The ability to control groups of pieces at once adds a layer of complexity that is extremely engaging. At the same time, having the pawns engage each other one at a time, trying to open up a path for your other units reminds me of something out of a Total War game.

Real player with 9.1 hrs in game

Regimental Chess is a modern take on a somewhat old concept where bored students would put a bunch of chess boards together and play a large bash with several sets of pieces, with a variety of different house rules for such games floating around.

It’s an unusual idea but the delivery here is quite flat, with barebones low poly chess pieces, multiplayer only but there’s no players (no AI, I understand that would be a complex undertaking, but if you set a high bar for a game, you should at least try to reach it!), a confused and annoying UI, quite a few bugs, and of course they want your email address. That’s the kind of stuff that will get any gamers hackles up, so it’s understandable there’s no players. Because of those issues I can’t recommend this.

Kungfu Cowboy

Kungfu Cowboy

I stumbled upon KFCowboy when I was browsing Steam for new games to play. The game title first caught my attention because it sounded unique and funny and the game looked quite fun from the trailer too.

I would best describe the game as a mix of Celeste-like platforming with bullet-hell action of Enter The Gungeon. You’re constantly fighting enemies and dashing thru spiked platforms while avoiding getting hit. The gameplay is quite challenging, but I like that the runs are fairly short so it never feels tiring when going for another one. You gain exp the more you play and you are able to unlock new weapons with exp. Each weapon has it’s own unique boosts and you are able to stack different ones together to create different builds so it adds a lot of depth and replayability. The enemy variety is great and there’s even some friendly NPCs that you meet along the way that help you out. Also, the music in the game SLAPS. It’s catchy and has a western/Chinese vibe to it.

Great game to play with friends. You can choose to play the roguelike run mode (PVE) or arena style shooter mode (PVP). The run mode is pretty chill and it took me and my friends a couple of hours to beat the game. We unlocked hard mode, which is the regular mode but ON STEROIDS. The platforming and enemies are way harder, but I quite like the challenge. Each weapon has their own unique upgrades which makes the game play very differently from run to run. The PVP arena mode is so much fun too. It’s definitely a lot more fun the more people you have so I recommend playing with at least 4 players. There’s online matchmaking, but I think the player base is still quite small so I wasn’t able to matchmake with other players. I highly suggest grabbing this game with a few buddies for the PVP.
